³Umaknil si ves srd svoj, odvrnil si se od jeze svoje, da ni kipela.

⁴Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

⁴Postavi nas v prejšnji stan, o Bog zveličanja našega, in potolaži nevoljo svojo proti nam.

⁵Wilt thou be angry with us for ever? wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations?

⁵Ali se boš večno jezil nad nami, raztezal jezo svojo od roda do roda?

⁶Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?

⁶Ali nas zopet ne postaviš v življenje, da se ljudstvo tvoje raduje v tebi?

⁷Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

⁷Pokaži nam, GOSPOD, milost svojo, in daj nam zveličanje svoje!

⁸I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁸Pa poslušal bom, kaj govori Bog mogočni, GOSPOD. Da, mir govori ljudstvu svojemu in svetnikom svojim, samo v nespamet naj se ne povrnejo.

⁹Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

⁹Res, blizu je njim, ki se njega bojé, zveličanje njegovo, da bi zopet slava prebivala v deželi naši.

¹⁰Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹⁰Milost in resnica se bosta srečavala, pravičnost in mir se poljubita.

¹¹Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

¹¹Zvestoba požene iz zemlje, in pravičnost bo gledala iz nebes.

¹²Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

¹²GOSPOD bo tudi dal, kar je dobro, in zemlja naša obrodi svoj sad.Pravičnost bo pred njim hodila in nas postavila na pot stopinj njegovih.

¹³Righteousness shall go before him; and shall set us in the way of his steps.
