1O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

2Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
2Tú has conocido mi sentarme y mi levantarme, Has entendido desde lejos mis pensamientos.
3Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
3Mi senda y mi acostarme has rodeado, Y estás impuesto en todos mis caminos.
4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
4Pues aun no está la palabra en mi lengua, Y he aquí, oh Jehová, tú la sabes toda.
5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
5Detrás y delante me guarneciste, Y sobre mí pusiste tu mano.
6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
6Más maravillosa es la ciencia que mi capacidad; Alta es, no puedo comprenderla.
7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
7¿Adónde me iré de tu espíritu? ¿Y adónde huiré de tu presencia?
8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
8Si subiere á los cielos, allí estás tú: Y si en abismo hiciere mi estrado, he aquí allí tú estás.
9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
9Si tomare las alas del alba, Y habitare en el extremo de la mar,
10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
10Aun allí me guiará tu mano, Y me asirá tu diestra.
11If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.
11Si dijere: Ciertamente las tinieblas me encubrirán; Aun la noche resplandecerá tocante á mí.
12Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
12Aun las tinieblas no encubren de ti, Y la noche resplandece como el día: Lo mismo te son las tinieblas que la luz.
13For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
13Porque tú poseiste mis riñones; Cubrísteme en el vientre de mi madre.
14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
14Te alabaré; porque formidables, maravillosas son tus obras: Estoy maravillado, Y mi alma lo conoce mucho.
15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
15No fué encubierto de ti mi cuerpo, Bien que en oculto fuí formado, Y compaginado en lo más bajo de la tierra.
16Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
16Mi embrión vieron tus ojos, Y en tu libro estaban escritas todas aquellas cosas Que fueron luego formadas, Sin faltar una de ellas.
17How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
17Así que cuán preciosos me son, oh Dios, tus pensamientos! Cuán multiplicadas son sus cuentas!
18If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
18Si los cuento, multiplícanse más que la arena: Despierto, y aun estoy contigo.
19Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
19De cierto, oh Dios, matarás al impío; Apartaos pues de mí, hombres sanguinarios.
20For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
20Porque blasfemias dicen ellos contra ti: Tus enemigos toman en vano tu nombre
21Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
21¿No tengo en odio, oh Jehová, á los que te aborrecen, Y me conmuevo contra tus enemigos?
22I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
22Aborrézcolos con perfecto odio; Téngolos por enemigos.
23Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
23Examíname, oh Dios, y conoce mi corazón: Pruébame y reconoce mis pensamientos:
24And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
24Y ve si hay en mí camino de perversidad, Y guíame en el camino eterno.
