¹Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

¹Чувај ме, Боже; јер се у Те уздам.

²O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

²Рекох Господу: Ти си Господ мој, немам добра осим Тебе.

³But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

³У светима који су на земљи и у великима сва је утеха моја.

⁴Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

⁴Нека други умножавају идоле своје, нека трче к туђима; ја им нећу лити крваве наливе, нити ћу метнути имена њихова у уста своја.

⁵The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

⁵Господ је мој део наследства и чаше; Ти подижеш достојање моје.

⁶The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

⁶Уже ми је захватило прекрасна места, и део ми је мој мио.

⁷I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

⁷Благосиљам Господа, који ме уразумљује; томе ме и ноћу учи шта је у мени.

⁸I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

⁸Свагда видим пред собом Господа: Он ми је с десне стране да не посрнем.

⁹Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

⁹Тога ради радује се срце моје, и весели се језик мој, још ће се и тело моје смирити у уздању;

¹⁰For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

¹⁰Јер нећеш оставити душу моју у паклу, нити ћеш дати да Светац Твој види трулост.

¹¹Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

¹¹Показаћеш ми пут животни: обиље је радости пред лицем Твојим, утеха у десници Твојој довека.
