¹I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

¹Узвишаваћу Те, Господе, јер си ме отео, и ниси дао непријатељима мојим да ми се свете.

²O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

²Господе, Боже мој! Завиках к Теби, и исцелио си ме.

³O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

³Господе! Извео си из пакла душу моју, и оживео си ме да не сиђем у гроб.

⁴Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

⁴Појте Господу, свеци Његови, и славите свето име Његово.

⁵For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

⁵Гнев је Његов за тренуће ока, а до живота милост Његова, вечером долази плач, а јутром радост.

⁶And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

⁶И ја рекох у добру свом: Нећу посрнути довека.

⁷LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.

⁷Ти хтеде, Господе, те гора моја стајаше тврдо. Ти одврати лице своје, и ја се сметох.

⁸I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

⁸Тада Тебе, Господе, зазивах, и Господа молих:

⁹What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

⁹"Каква је корист од крви моје, да сиђем у гроб? Хоће ли Те прах славити или казивати истину Твоју?

¹⁰Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

¹⁰Чуј, Господе, и смилуј се на ме; Господе буди ми помоћник."

¹¹Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

¹¹И Ти промени плач мој на радост, скиде с мене врећу. опаса ме весељем.

¹²To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

¹²Зато ће Ти певати слава моја и неће умукнути; Господе, Боже мој! Довека ћу Те хвалити.
