1 Corinthians

11

1Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
1 Araŋ ma ciya ay dondonkoyaŋ, sanda mate kaŋ cine ay mo go Almasihu wane.
2Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
2 Sohõ ay g'araŋ saabu kaŋ araŋ fongu nd'ay hay kulu ra. Araŋ go ga dondonandiyaŋey yaari mo, mate kaŋ cine ay n'i ci araŋ se.
3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
3 Amma ay ga ba araŋ ma faham nda woone: alboro kulu boŋo ga ti Almasihu, wayboro mo, a boŋo ga ti alboro, Almasihu mo, a boŋo ga ti Irikoy.
4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
4 Alboro kulu kaŋ go ga adduwa te, wala a go ga annabitaray te, d'a boŋo go daabante, a go ga nga koyo kaynandi.
5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
5 Amma wayboro kulu kaŋ go ga adduwa te, wala a go ga annabitaray te, d'a boŋo si daabante, nga mo go ga nga koyo kaynandi, zama a ga saba nda wayboro kaŋ na nga boŋo cabu.
6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
6 Zama da wayboro si nga boŋo daabu, a ma nga boŋ hamno dumbu mo. Amma da haawi hari no wayboro se a ma nga boŋ hamno dumbu wala a m'a cabu, kal a ma nga boŋo daabu.
7For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
7 Zama alboro mana hima ka nga boŋo daabu, za kaŋ nga wo Irikoy alhaalo no, Irikoy darza mo no. Amma wayboro ga ti alboro darza.
8For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man.
8 Zama i mana alboro kaa wayboro gaa, amma wayboro no i kaa alboro gaa.
9Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
9 Woodin banda, i mana alboro taka wayboro sabbay se, amma day wayboro no i taka alboro sabbay se.
10For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
10 Woodin sabbay se _da|_ malaykey sabbay se _mo|_, a ga hima wayboro ma bara nda dabaro kaŋ cire a go seeda nga boŋo gaa.
11Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.
11 Kulu nda yaadin, Rabbi do wayboro si bara alboro baa si, alboro mo si bara wayboro baa si.
12For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.
12 Zama mate kaŋ cine i na wayboro kaa alboro gaa, yaadin mo no i ga alboro hay wayboro do, woone yaŋ kulu mo, Irikoy do no i fun.
13Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
13 Araŋ ma sanno dumbu araŋ boŋ se, hal a ga hima wayboro kaŋ mana daabu ma adduwa te Irikoy gaa?
14Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
14 Manti Adam-ize alhaalo bumbo g'araŋ dondonandi kaŋ, da alboro boŋ hamno ga ku, woodin haawi hari no a se?
15But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
15 Amma da wayboro gonda boŋ hamni kuuku, a darza hari no. Zama Irikoy na boŋ hamni no a se, a ma ciya a boŋo daabuyaŋ hari.
16But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
16 Amma da boro fo ga ba nga ma kakaw woodin boŋ, iri nda Irikoy margey wo sinda alaada _kaŋ waana|_ woodin.
17Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
17 Amma lordo wo kaŋ ay g'araŋ no ra, ay s'araŋ saabu. Zama manti araŋ ma hanse se, amma hasaraw se no araŋ go ga margu.
18For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
18 Sintina day, ay maa fay-fayyaŋ go araŋ game ra waati kaŋ araŋ ga margu Almasihu marga ra. Ay ga jara cimandi mo.
19For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
19 Zama haciika a ga tilas no wurdi waani-waani ma bara araŋ game ra, hala borey kaŋ yaŋ gonda cimi araŋ game ra ma bangay.
20When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
20 Yaadin gaa, waati kaŋ araŋ ga margu nangu folloŋ, manti Rabbi ŋwaaro no araŋ go ga ŋwa.
21For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
21 Zama ŋwaaro do boro kulu ga cahã ka nga wano ŋwa. Boro fo ga maa haray, afo mo ga haŋ ka bugu.
22What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
22 Mate no? Araŋ sinda fuyaŋ kaŋ ra araŋ ga ŋwa ka haŋ no? Wala araŋ go ga donda Irikoy marga, ka borey kaŋ gaa jaŋay go haawandi? Ifo no ay ga ne araŋ se? Y'araŋ saabu nda woone? Ay si.
23For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
23 Zama Rabbi do no ay du woone kaŋ ay n'araŋ no, kaŋ ga ti: Cino kaŋ ra i na Rabbi Yesu nooyandi, a na buuru sambu.
24And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
24 Waato kaŋ a saabu, a banda a n'a ceeri-ceeri ka ne: «Woone ga ti ay gaahamo kaŋ i go ga pati araŋ sabbay se. Araŋ ma woone te ka fongu nd'ay.»
25After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
25 Yaadin mo no a na gaasiya sambu hawra banda ka ne: «Gaasiyo wo ga ti alkawli tajo ay kuro ra. Alwaati kulu kaŋ araŋ goono g'a haŋ, araŋ ma woone te ka fongu nd'ay.»
26For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
26 Zama alwaati kulu kaŋ araŋ ga buuro wo ŋwa ka gaasiya wo haŋ mo, araŋ go ga Rabbi buuyaŋo waazu no hal a ga kaa.
27Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
27 Boro kulu mo kaŋ ga Rabbi buuro ŋwa, wala a g'a gaasiya haŋ da fondo kaŋ mana hima nd'a, bora din gonda taali Rabbi gaahamo d'a kuro do.
28But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
28 Kala boro kulu ma nga boŋ neesi, woodin banda a ma ŋwa buuro gaa ka haŋ gaasiya gaa.
29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
29 Zama boro kaŋ go ga ŋwa ka haŋ, d'a si Rabbi gaahamo fayanka, ciiti no a go ga candi nga boŋ gaa, ŋwaayaŋo da haŋyaŋo din do.
30For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
30 Woodin sabbay se no, araŋ game ra boro boobo te londibuunoyaŋ, i jante, iboobo mo kani.
31For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
31 Amma d'iri g'iri boŋ neesi, doŋ Rabbi si ciiti nd'iri.
32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
32 Waato kaŋ Rabbi g'iri ciiti binde, a go g'iri gooji no, zama nga ma s'iri zeeri ndunnya banda.
33Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
33 Yaadin gaa, ay nya-izey, waati kaŋ cine araŋ ga margu zama araŋ ma ŋwa se, kal araŋ ma care batu.
34And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
34 Da boro fo haray, a ma ŋwa za fu, zama araŋ marguyaŋo ma si ciya ciiti daliili. Sanney kaŋ cindi, ay g'i hanse waati kaŋ ay ga kaa.
