¹Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

¹ҲАР кӣ имон дорад, ки Исо Масеҳ аст, вай аз Худо таваллуд ёфтааст, ва ҳар кй Волидродӯстмедорад,вай Мавлуди Ӯро низ дӯст медорад.

²By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

²Аз ин мо медонем, ки фарзандони Худоро дӯст медорем, ки Худоро дӯст дорем ва аҳкоми Ӯро риоят кунем.

³For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

³Зеро муҳаббат ба Худо ҳамин аст, ки мо аҳкомиӮро риоят кунем; ва аҳкоми Ӯ гарон нест,

⁴For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

⁴Зеро ҳар кй аз Худо таваллуд ёфтааст, ҷаҳонро мағлуб мекунад; ва ин ғалабае ки ҷаҳонро мағлуб кардааст, имони мост.

⁵Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

⁵Кист, ки ҷаҳонро мағлуб мекунад, ҷуз касе ки имон дорад, ки Исо Писари Худост?

⁶This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

⁶Ӯ Исои Масеҳ аст, ки бо об ва хун ва Рӯҳ омадааст, на танҳо бо об, балки бо об ва хун; ва Рӯҳ шаҳодат медиҳад, чунки Рӯҳ ростист.

⁷For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

⁷Зеро се ҳастанд, ки дар осмон шаҳодат медиҳанд: Падар, Калом ва Рӯҳулкудс; ва Ин се як ҳастанд.

⁸And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

⁸Ва се ҳастанд, ки дар замин шаҳодат медиҳанд: рӯҳ, об ва хун; ва ин се мувофиқат мекунанд.

⁹If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

⁹Агар мо шаҳодати одамиро қабул кунем, шаҳодати Худо бузургтар аст, зеро ин шаҳодати Худост, ки Ӯ дар бораи Писари Худ шаҳодат додааст.

¹⁰He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

¹⁰Касе ки ба Писари Худо имон дорад, дар худ шаҳодат дорад; касе ки ба Худо имон надорад, Ӯро дурӯғгӯ донистааст, зеро ба шаҳодате ки Худо дар бораи Писари Худ додааст, имон надорад.

¹¹And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

¹¹Ва ин шаҳодат аз он иборат аст, ки Худо ба мо ҳаети ҷовидонӣ ато намудааст, ва ин ҳаёт дар Писари Ӯст.

¹²He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

¹²Касе ки Писарро дорад, ҳаёт дорад, касе ки Писари Худоро надорац, ҳаёт надорад.

¹³These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

¹³Ба шумо, ки ба исми Писари Худо имон доред, инро навиштаам, то донед, ки пгумо ба Писари Худо имон дошта, ҳаёти ҷовидонӣ доред.

¹⁴And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

¹⁴Ва ҷуръате ки мо ба ҳузури Ӯ дорем, дар он аст, ки агар мо мувофиқи иродаи Ӯ чизеро талаб кунем, Ӯ моро мешунавад;

¹⁵And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

¹⁵Ва агар донем, ки Ӯ моро дар ҳар чӣ талаб кунем, мешунавад, онро низ медонем, ки он чи аз Ӯ талаб кардаем, меёбем.

¹⁶If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

¹⁶Агар касе бародари худро бинад, ки гуноҳе мекунад, ки анҷомаш мамот нест, бигзор дуо гӯяд, ва Худо Ӯро ҳаёт хоҳад бахшид:. дар бораи онҳое мегӯям, ки анҷоми гуноҳашон мамот нест. Гуноҳе ҳаст, ки анҷомаш мамот аст: дар бораи чунин гуноҳ намегӯям, ки дуо гӯед.

¹⁷All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

¹⁷Ҳар ноинсофй гуноҳ аст, лекин гуноҳест, ки анҷомаш мамот нест.

¹⁸We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

¹⁸Мо медонем, ки ҳар кӣ аз Худо таваллуд ёфтааст, гуноҳ намекунад, балки Писари Худо варо муҳофизат мекунад, ва иблис ба вай даст намерасонад.

¹⁹And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

¹⁹Мо медонем, ки мо аз Худо ҳастем, вале тамоми ҷаҳон дар зери хукумати иблис аст.

²⁰And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

²⁰Валекин мо медонем, ки Писари Худо омада, ба мо хирад бахшид, то ки ҳакро Дарк кунем, ва мо дар ҳақ, дар Писари Ӯ Исои Масеҳ ҳастем. Ӯ Худои ҳақикӣ ва ҳаёти ҷовидонӣ мебошад.

²¹Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
