¹Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

¹ПЕТРӮС, ки ҳаввории Исои Масеҳ аст, ба ғарибоне ки дар вилоятҳои Понтус, Ғалотия, Каппадукия, Осиё ва Битуния пароканда мебошанд,

²Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

²Ва мувофиқи таъиноти пешакии Худои Падар, бо такдиси Рӯҳ, барои итоат ва пошидани Хуни Исои Масеҳ интихоб шудаанд: фаЙз ва осоиштагй бар шумо фаровон бод.

³Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

³Муборак аст Худо ва Падари Худованди мо Исои Масеҳ, ки бо марҳамати бузурги Худ, ба василаи эҳьёи Исои Масеҳ аз мурдагон, моро аз нав ба вуҷуд овард барои умеди зинда,

⁴To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

⁴Барои мероси бефано, пок ва пажмурданашаванда,ки дар осмон барои шумо маҳфуз аст,

⁵Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

⁵Ки бо куввати Худо ба воситаи имон нигоҳ дошта мешавед барои наҷоте ки муҳайё шудааст, то ки дар замони охир ба зуҳур ояд.

⁶Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

⁶Дар ин бора шодӣ кунед, дар сурате ки ҳоло, агар лозим шавад, аз озмоишҳои гуногун андаке андӯҳгин мешавед.

⁷That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

⁷Имони шумо аз тилло, ки бо вуҷуди озмуда шуданаш дар оташ ҳам фонӣ мебошад, гаронбаҳотар аст. Ин имон аз имтиҳон мегузарад ва барои ҳамд ва шавкат ва ҷалол дар вакти зуҳури Исои Масеҳ холис ба миён меояд.

⁸Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

⁸Шумо Ӯро надида дӯст медоред, ва агарчи Ӯро ҳанӯз надидаед, ба Ӯ имон меоваред ва бо шодмонии молокалом ва пур аз ҷалол шодй мекунед

⁹Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

⁹Ва ба мақсади имони худ, яъне ба наҷоти ҷонҳотон ноил мешавед.

¹⁰Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:

¹⁰Тафтишот ва тадқиқоти анбиё ба ҳамин наҷот тааллуқ дошт, ва онҳо файзеро, ки барои шумо таъин шуда буд, пешгӯӣ кардаанд.

¹¹Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

¹¹Онҳо тадқиқ намудаанд, ки кадом ва чй гуна замонро Рӯҳи Масеҳе ки андаруни онҳо буд, нишон додааст,вақтеки Он аз укубатҳои Масеҳ ва аз ҷалоле ки баъд аз он фаро хоҳад расид, пешакӣ хабар медод.

¹²Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

¹²Ба онҳо ошкор шуда буд, ки на ба худашон, балки ба мо хизмат кардаанд дар хусуси он чи ҳоло ба шумо мавъиза шудааст ба воситаи онҳое ки бо Рӯҳулқудси аз осмон фиристодашуда ба шумо башорат додаанд, яъне он чи, ки фариштагон мехоҳанд андарунаш назар андозанд.

¹³Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

¹³Бинобар ин, камари ақли худро маҳкам баста ва ҳушьёр шуда, ба файзе ки дар вақти зуҳури Исои Масеҳ ба шумо ато хоҳад шуд, комилан умедвор бошед.

¹⁴As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

¹⁴Ҳамчун бачагони фармонбардор, ба ҳавасҳои пещтарае ки дар вақти нодонии худ доштед, мувофиқат накунед,

¹⁵But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

¹⁵Балки, чунон ки Даъваткунандаи шумо муқаддас аст, худатон низ дар тамоми рафторатон муқаддас бошед,

¹⁶Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

¹⁶Зеро ки навишта шудааст: "Муқаддас бошед, чунки Ман муқаддас ҳастам".

¹⁷And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

¹⁷Ва агар шумо Ӯро Падар мехонед, ки бе рӯйбинй ҳар касро аз рӯи аъмолаш доварй мекунад, пас замони ғурбати худро бо ҳудотарсй бигзаронед,

¹⁸Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;

¹⁸Чун медонед, ки шумо на бо фидияи нуқра ё тилло харида шудаед аз ҳаёти ботиле ки аз падарони худ мерос гирифтаед,

¹⁹But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

¹⁹Балки бо Хуни гаронбаҳои Масеҳ, ҳамчун барраи беайб ва пок,

²⁰Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

²⁰Ки пеш аз таъсиси ҷаҳон пешакӣ таъин шуда буд, лекин дар замони охир барои шумо зоҳир щудааст,

²¹Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

²¹Ки ба воситаи Масеҳ шумо ба Худое имон овардед, ки Масеҳро аз мурдагон эҳьё кард ва ба Ӯ ҷалол бахшид, то ки шумо ба Худо имон ва умед дошта бошед.

²²Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

²²Чун ҷонҳои худро бо итоати ростй ба воситаи Рӯҳ барои бародардӯстии бериё пок кардаед, доимо якдигарро аз самими қалб дӯст бидоред,

²³Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

²³Ҳамчун касоне ки аз нав ба вуҷуд омадаед на аз тухми фонй, балки аз тухми бефано, ба василаи каломи Худр, ки зинда аст ва то абад боқист.

²⁴For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

²⁴Зеро ки ҳар ҷисм мисли алаф аст, ва ҳар ҷалоли одамй - мисли гули алаф; алаф хушк мешавад, ва гули он мерезад;

²⁵But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

²⁵Аммо каломи Худованд то абад боқист. Ва ин аст он каломе ки ба шумо мавъиза шудааст.
