¹Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

¹АММО Рӯҳ кушоду равшан мегӯяд, ки дар замонҳои охир баъзе касон аз имон баргашта, ба арвоҳи фиребанда ва таълимоти шастин гӯщ хоҳанд андохт,

²Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

²Ба воситаи риёкории дурӯғгӯёне ки виҷдонашон гӯё бо доғе беҳис шудааст,

³Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

³Никоҳро манъ мекунанд ва аз ҳар навъ хӯрок парҳез мефармоянд, ки онро Худо офаридааст, то ки имондорон ва орифони ростӣ бо шукргузорӣ бихӯранд.

⁴For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

⁴Зеро ки ҳар офаридаи Худо хуб аст, ва ҳеҷ чиз набояд рад карда шавад, агар онро бо шукргузорӣ бихӯранд,

⁵For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

⁵Чунки он бо каломи Худо ва бо дуо тақдис мегардад.

⁶If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.

⁶Агар инро ба бародарон талқин намой, хизматгузори неки Исои Масеҳ хоҳӣ буд, ки аз суҳанони имон ва таълимоти неке ки пайравӣ кардаӣ, ғизо мегирӣ.

⁷But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

⁷Аммо аз қиссаҳои нолоиқи аҷузаҳо рӯй гардон, балки худро дар диндорӣ машқ деҳ;

⁸For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

⁸Зеро ки машқи ҷисмонй кам фоида дорад, вале диндорй барои ҳама чиз фоиданок аст, ки ваъдаи ҳаёти ҳозира ва ояндаро дорад.

⁹This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.

⁹Дуруст аст ин суХан ва сазовори қабули куллӣ.

¹⁰For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

¹⁰Зеро барои ҳамин ҳам мо меҳнат мекунем ва заҳмат мекашем, ки ба Худои Ҳай умед бастаем, ки ӯ Наҷотдиҳандаи ҳамаи одамон, алалхусус имондорон аст.

¹¹These things command and teach.

¹¹Ҳаминро мавъиза намо ва таълим деҳ.

¹²Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

¹²Бигзор ҳеҷ кас ба ҷавонии ту беэътиноӣ накунад; балки барои имондорон дар сухан, дар рафтор, дар муҳаббат, дар рӯҳ, дар имон, дар покӣ намунаи ибрат бош.

¹³Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

¹³То вакти омаданам ба қироат, насиҳат ва таълим мащғул шав.

¹⁴Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

¹⁴Ба бахшоиши Рӯҳ, ки дар туст, беэътиноӣ накун, ки он ба ту ба василаи нубувват бо гузоштани дастҳои гшрон дода шудааст.

¹⁵Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

¹⁵Ба ин ғамхорӣ намо ва инро тарк какун, то ки муваффақияти ту ба ҳама намоён шавад.

¹⁶Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

¹⁶Ба худат ва ба таълим диққат деҳ, доимо ба ин машғул бош; зеро, агар ҳамин тавр рафтор кунӣ, ҳам худатро наҷот медиҳӣ ва ҳам шунавандагонатро.
