¹And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

¹ҲАВВОРИЁН ва бародароне ки дар Яҳудо буданд, шуниданд, ки гаӣрияҳудиён низ каломи Худоро қабул кардаанд.

²And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

²Вақте ки Петрус ба Ерусалим омад, махтунон бар вай таъна зада,

³Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

³Гуфтанд: «Назди мардуми номаҳтун рафта, бо онҳо хӯрок хӯрдаӣ».

⁴But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,

⁴Вале Петрус ба хикояти муфассали ҳар он чи рӯй дода буд, шурӯъ намуда, гуфт:

⁵I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

⁵«Ман дар шаҳри Ёфо дуо мегуфтам ва дар ҳолати беҳудй рӯъёе дидам: зарфе нозил мешуд, мисли суфраи калоне ки аз чор гӯшааш овезон аз осмон мефуромада бошад, ва инак он назди ман фуромад;

⁶Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

⁶«Чунбаоннигариста,дурустакак аз назар гузарондам, чорвои замин, ҳайвоноти ваҳшӣ, хазандагон ва мурғони ҳаворо Дидам,

⁷And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

⁷«Ва овозе ба гӯшам расид, ки мегуфт: "Эй Петрус, бархоста, забҳ кун ва бихӯр".

⁸But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

⁸«Гуфтам: "Ҳошо, Худовандо, зеро ки ҳаргиз чизе ҳаром ё палид ба даҳон набурдаам".

⁹But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

⁹«Бори дигар хитобе аз осмон ба ҷавобам даррасид, ки мегуфт: "Он чи Худо пок кардааст, ту ҳаром нахон".

¹⁰And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

¹⁰«Ин ҳодиса се бор такрор ёфт, ва ҳама чиз боз ба осмон баромад.

¹¹And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.

¹¹«Ва инак, дар ҳамон лаҳза се марде ки аз Қайсария назди ман фиристода шуда буданд, ба хонае ки икрмат доштам, расиданд,

¹²And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

¹²«Ва Рӯҳ ба ман гуфт, ки ҳеҷ шубҳа накарда, бо онҳо биравам; ин шаш бародар ниэ ҳамроҳи ман рафтанд, ва мо ба хонаи он шахс даромадем.

¹³And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;

¹³«Вай ба мо нақл кард, ки чй гуна дар хонаи худ фариштаро дидааст, ки истола, ба вай гуфтааст: "Ба Ёфо фирнстода, Шимъӯнро, ки лақабаш Петрус аст, даъват намо,

¹⁴Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

¹⁴"Ва ӯ ба ту суханоне бигӯяд, ки боиси наҷоти ту ва тамоми хонадони ту хоҳанд шуд".

¹⁵And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

¹⁵«Вакте ки ба сухан оғоз кардам, Рӯҳулқудс бар онҳо нозил шуд, мисли он ки дар ибтидо бар мо нозил шуда буд.

¹⁶Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

¹⁶«Он гоҳ ба ёд овардам, ки Худованд гуфта буд: "Яҳьё бо об таъмид медод, лекин шумо бо Рӯхулқудс таъмид хоҳед ёфт".

¹⁷Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

¹⁷«Пас, модоме ки Худо ба онҳо ҳамон бахшоишро ато кардааст, ки ба мо ато кард, вақте ки ба Исои Масеҳи Худованд имон овардем, ман кистам, ки тавонам ба Худо монеъ щавам?»

¹⁸When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

¹⁸Вақте ки инро шуниданд, ором шуданд ва Худоро ҳамду сано хонда, гуфтанд: «Дар ҳақиқат Худо ба гайрияҳудиён низ тавбаи ҳаётбахшро ато кардааст».

¹⁹Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

¹⁹Дар ин мнён ба сабаби таъқиботе ки баъд аз Истефанус ба амап омад, бисьёр касон пароканда шуда, то Финиқия ва Қаприс ва Антиёхия расиданд, ва онҳо каломро ба ҳеҷ кас, ғайр аз яхудиён, мавъиза намекарданд.

²⁰And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spake unto the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus.

²⁰Лекин баъзе аз онҳо, ки аз аҳли Қаприс ва Қурин буданд, ба Антиёхия расида, бо юнониёи гуфтугӯй карданд ва аз Исои Худованд башорат доданд,

²¹And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.

²¹Ва дасти Худованд бар онҳо буд, ва шумораи бузурге имон оварда, ба Худованд руҷӯъ карданд.

²²Then tidings of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.

²²Вақте ки овозаи ин ба гӯши аҳли калисои Ерусалим расид, Барнабборо ба Антиёхия фиристоданд.

²³Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

²³Чун расид, файзи Худоро дида, шод шуд, ва ҳамаро насиҳат кард, ки аз самими қалб ба Худованд бичаспанд;

²⁴For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

²⁴Зеро ки ӯ марди некӯкор ва пур аз Рӯҳулқудс ва имон буд; ва мардуми бисьёре ба Худованд имон оварданд.

²⁵Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, for to seek Saul:

²⁵Сонӣ Барнаббо барои ҷустуҷӯи Шоул ба Тарсус рафт ва ӯро ёфта, ба Антиёхия овард.

²⁶And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

²⁶Тамоми сол онҳо дар калисо ҷамъ мешуданд ва мардуми бисьёрро таълим медоданд, ва шогирдон аввалин бор дар Антиёхия масеҳӣ номида шуданд.

²⁷And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

²⁷Ва воқеъ шуд дар он айем, ки якчанд анбиё аз Ерусалим ба Антиёхия омаданд.

²⁸And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

²⁸Яке аз онҳо, ки Оғобус ном дошт, бархост ва аз Рӯҳ илҳом ёфта, пешгуӣ кард, ки дар тамоми ҷаҳон қаҳтии сахте рӯй хоҳад дод; он дар замони қайсар Клавдиюс рӯй дод;

²⁹Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:

²⁹Он гоҳ шогирдон қарор доданд, ки ҳар яке алоқадри дороии худ ионате барои бародарони сокини Яҳудо равона кунад;

³⁰Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.

³⁰Ҳамин тавр ҳам караанд, ва онро ба василаи Барнаббо ва Шоул ба пирон фиристоданд.
