¹And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

²When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

²Пас аз он ки Павлус ва Барнаббо бо онҳо мунозира ва мубоҳисаи бисьёре карданд, қарор дода шуд, ки Павлус ва Барнаббо ва чанд нафари дигар аз онҳо барои ҳалли ин масъала назди ҳаввориён ва пирон ба Ерусалим бираванд.

³And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

³Аҳли калисо онҳоро гуселониданд, ва ҳангоме ки онҳо аз Финиқия ва Сомария мегузаштанд, имон овардани ғайрияҳудиёнро ҳикоят карданд, ва ин хабар ҳамаи бародаронро бағоят шод гардонд.

⁴And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

⁴Чун ба Ерусалим расиданд, аҳли калисо, ҳаввориён ва пирон онҳоро пазироӣ карданд, ва онҳо аз он чи Худо бо онҳо ба амал оварда буд, нақл карданд.

⁵But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

⁵Баъзе аз фарисиён, ки имон оварда буданд, бархоста, гуфтанд, ки онҳоро бояд хатна карда, амр фармоянд, ки шариати Мусоро риоя кунанд.

⁶And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

⁶Ҳаввориён ва пирон ҷамъ шуданд, то ки ин масъаларо муҳокима намоянд.

⁷And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

⁷Баъд аз муҳокимаи бисьёр Петрус бархоста, ба онҳо гуфт: «Эй бародарон! Шумо медонед, ки аз рӯзҳои аввал Худо аз миёни ҳамаи мо маро баргузид, то ки гайрияҳудиён каломи Инҷилро аз забони ман бишнаванд ва имон оваранд;

⁸And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

⁸«Худои Орифулқалб ба онҳо бо чунин васила шаҳодат дод, ки Рӯҳулкудсро ба онҳо низ бахшид, чунон ки ба мо бахшидааст,

⁹And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

⁹«Ва дар байни мо ва онҳо ҳеҷ фарқе нагузощта, дилҳои онҳоро бо имон пок сохт.

¹⁰Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

¹⁰«Пас чаро акнун Худоро озмуда, бар гардани шогирдон юғе меандозед, ки онро ҳам падарони мо ва ҳам мо бардошта натавониста будем?

¹¹But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

¹¹«Лекин мо ба файзи Исои Масеҳи Худованд эътиқод дорем ва наҷот меёбем, ҳамчунон ки онҳо низ».

¹²Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

¹²Он гоҳ тамоми аҳли маҷлис сокит шуда, ба ҳикояти Барнаббо ва Павлус дар бораи аломоту мӯъҷизоте ки Худо дар миёни гайрияҳудиён ба василаи онҳо ба амал оварда буд, гӯш доданд.

¹³And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:

¹³Ҳамин ки нутқи онҳо ба охир расид, Яъкуб ба сухан оғоз карда, гуфт: «Эй бародарон! Ба ман гӯш диҳед:

¹⁴Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

¹⁴«Шимъӯн фаҳмонда дод, ки чӣ гуна Худо аввал ба гайрияҳудиён назар андохт, то ки аз миёни онҳо қавме ба исми Худ бигирад;

¹⁵And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,

¹⁵«ХӮфтаҳои анбиё низ ба ин мутобиқ аст, чунон ки навишта шудааст:

¹⁶After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

¹⁶"Баъд аз ин руҷӯъ намуда, хаймаи Довудро, ки фурӯ ғалтидааст, аз нав барқарор мекунам ва харобаҳои онро обод мегардонам ва барпо менамоям,

¹⁷That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

¹⁷"То ки бақияи мардум ва ҳамаи халқҳое ки исми Ман дар байни онҳо хонда мешавад, толиби Худованд гарданд, мегӯяд Худованде ки ҳамаи инро ба амал меоварад".

¹⁸Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

¹⁸«Ба Худо ҳамаи корҳояш абадан маълум аст.

¹⁹Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

¹⁹«Пас, фикри ман ин аст, ки касонеро, ки аз миёни ҳалқҳо ба Худо руҷӯъ менамоянд, ба душворӣ наандозем,

²⁰But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

²⁰«Балки ба онҳо фақат дастуре бинависем, ки аз наҷосати бутҳо, аз зино, аз гӯшти ҳайвоноти буғишуда ва аз хун парҳез кунанд;

²¹For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

²¹«Зеро ки Мусо аз наслҳои қадим дар ҳамаи шаҳрҳо воизони худро дорад, ва дар куништҳо ҳар рӯзи шанбе қироат мешавад».

²²Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

²²Он гоҳ ҳаввориён ва пирон бо тамоми аҳли калисо ба қароре омаданд, ки чанд касро аз миёни худ интихоб карда, ҳамроҳи Павлус ва Барнаббо ба Антиёхия фиристонанд; онҳо Яҳудоро, ки лақабаш Барсаббо буд, ва Силоро интихоб карданд, ки ин ду нафар аз пешвоёни бародарон буданд;

²³And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.

²³Ба номае ба ин мазмун навишта, ба дасти онҳо супурданд: «Ҳаввориён ва пирон ва бародарон ба бародароне ки аз байни гайрияҳудиён дар Антиёхия,

²⁴Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

²⁴«Чун шунидем, ки аз миёни мо баъзе касон шуморо бо суханони худ мушавваш соҳтаанд ва дилҳои шуморо ба шакку шубҳа андохтаанд ва гуфтаанд, ки "бояд хатна кунед ва шариатро риоя намоед", ва ҳол он ки мо ба онҳо чунин дастуре надодаем,

²⁵It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

²⁵«Бинобар ин мо якдилона ба қароре омадем, ки чанд нафарро интихоб намуда, назди шумо равона кунем, ҳамроҳи азизони худ Барнаббо ва Павлус,

²⁶Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁶«Ки ҷонҳои худро аз барои исми Худованди мо Исои Масеҳ нисор кардаанд.

²⁷We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.

²⁷«Пас, Яҳудо ва Силоро фиристодаем, ки онҳо низ ҳамин чизҳоро ба шумо даҳанакӣ баён хоханд кард.

²⁸For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

²⁸«Зеро ки Рӯҳулқудс ва мо савоб дидем, ки ба зиммаи шумо боре нагузорем, чуз воҷиботи зерин:

²⁹That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

²⁹«Аз қурбониҳои бутҳо, аз ҳун, аз гӯшти ҳайвоноти буғишуда ва аз зино парҳез кунед; ҳар гоҳ аз ин чизҳо худро нигоҳ доред, кори хубе мекунед. Саломат бошед».

³⁰So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

³⁰Вақте ки фиристодагон ба Антиёхия омаданд, мардумро ҷамъ карда, номаро супурданд.

³¹Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

³¹Онро ҳонда, аз мазмуни тасаллибахшаш шодмон шуданд.

³²And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

³²Яҳудо ва Сило, ки низ набӣ буданд, бародаронро бо суханони бисьёр насиҳат ва тақвият доданд.

³³And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.

³³Баъд аз он ки муддате дар он ҷо монданд, бародарон онҳоро ба саломатӣ назди ҳаввориён равона карданд;

³⁴Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.

³⁴Вале Сило дар он ҷо монданӣ шуд.

³⁵Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

³⁵Павлус ва Барнаббо дар Антиёхия иқомат намуда, бо ҳамроҳии бисьёр касони дигар каломи Худовандро таълим ва башорат медоданд.

³⁶And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the LORD, and see how they do.

³⁶Чун якчанд рӯз гузашт, Павлус ба Барнаббо гуфт: «Акнун гашта равем ва дар ҳар шаҳре ки каломи Хуцовандро мавъиза карца будем, бародарони худро бубинем, ки аҳволашон чӣ гуна аст».

³⁷And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

³⁷Барнаббо меҳост Юҳанноро, ки лақабаш Марқӯс буд, ҳамроҳашон бибаранд,

³⁸But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.

³⁸Аммо Павлус салоҳ надонист, ки шахсеро, ки дар Памфилия аз онҳо ҷудо шуда, дар корашон то ба охир ҳамроҳӣ накарда буд, бо худ бибаранд.

³⁹And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;

³⁹Ба ин сабаб низое ба миён омада, то ба ҳадде расид, ки онҳо аз якдигар чудо шуданд, ва Барнаббо Маркӯсро ҳамроҳи худ гирифта, бо киштй ба Қаприс рафт,

⁴⁰And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

⁴⁰Ва Павлус барои худ Силоро интиҳоб кард, ва ҳамин ки бародарон ӯро ба файзи Худо супурданд, рӯ ба сафар ниҳод

⁴¹And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

⁴¹Ва ба Сурия ва Қилиқия гузашта, калисоҳоро тақвият мекард.
