¹And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

¹ШӮМО ба сабаби хатоҳо ва гуноҳҳои худ як вақте мурда будед.

²Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

²Дар онҳо шумо мувофиқи давраи ин олам ва иродаи мире ки дар ҳаво ҳукмрон аст, яъне он рӯҳе ки ҳоло дар писарони исьён амал мекунад, зиндагӣ мекардед.

³Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

³Дар миёни онҳо ҳамаи мо низ як вақте аз рӯи шаҳавоти ҷисми худ зиндагӣ карда, ҳавасҳои ҷисм ва хаёлотро ба ҷо меовардем ва табиатан, мисли дигарон, фарзандони ғазаб будем.

⁴But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

⁴Аммо Худои пур аз марҳамат, бар тибқи муҳаббати бузурге ки ба мо дорад,

⁵Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

⁵Моро, агарчи аз рӯи хатоҳо мурда будем, бо Масеҳ зинда кард, - бо файз шумо наҷот ёфтаед, -

⁶And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

⁶Ва бо Ӯ моро бархезонд ва дар афлок дар Исои Масеҳ шинонд,

⁷That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

⁷То ки дар асрҳои оянда сарвати беҳадди файзи Худро дар меҳрубоние ки ба мо дар Исои Масеҳ дорад, зоҳир намояд.

⁸For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

⁸Зеро ки шумо бо файз ба воситаи имон наҷот ёфтаед, ва ин на аз шумост, балки атои Худост,

⁹Not of works, lest any man should boast.

⁹Ва аз аъмол нест, то ки ҳеҷ кас фахр накунад.

¹⁰For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

¹⁰Зеро ки мо офаридаи Ӯ ҳастем ва дар Исои Масеҳ барои аъмоли нек, ки иҷрои онҳоро Худо пешакӣ барои мо таъин намудааст, ба вуҷуд оварда шудаем.

¹¹Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

¹¹Пас, дар хотир дошта бошед, ки як вақте ба ҳасби ҷисм шумо халқҳо будед, ва касоне ки махтун номида мешаванд, шуморо номахтун меномиданд, вале хатнан онҳо ҷисмонист ва бо дасти инсон ба амал оварда шудааст;

¹²That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

¹²Дар он замон шумо бе Масеҳ, аз ҷамоати Исроил чудо ва нисбат ба аҳдҳои ваъда бегона будед, дар олам бе умед ва бе Худо будед.

¹³But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

¹³Аммо акнун, дар Исои Масеҳ, шумо, ки як вақте дур будед, бо Хуни Масеҳ наздик шудаед. Ба воситаи Исо яҳудиён ва халқҳо ичозат доранд, ки ба Падаре ки дар осмон аст, наздик шаванд.

¹⁴For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

¹⁴Зеро ки Ӯ осоиштагии мост, ки ҳар дуро як гардонд ва девори ҷудоиро, яъне адоватро дар Бадани Худ хароб кард,

¹⁵Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

¹⁵Ва шариати аҳкомро, ки аз амрҳо иборат буд, ботил намуд, то ки дар Худ аз ҳар ду як одами навро ба вуҷуд оварда, осоиштагӣ барқарор намояд,

¹⁶And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

¹⁶Ва ба воситаи салиб дар як ҷисм ҳар дуро бо Худо оштӣ диҳад ва адоватро бикушад.

¹⁷And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

¹⁷Ӯ ба шумо, ки дур будед, ва ба онҳое ки наздик буданд, омад ва осоиштагиро башорат дод,

¹⁸For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

¹⁸Зеро ба воситаи Ӯ ҳар дуи мо иҷозат дорем, ки дар як Рӯҳ ба Падар наздик шавем.

¹⁹Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

¹⁹Пас, шумо акнун на ғайр ҳастед ва на бегона, балки ҳамватани муқаддасонед ва аҳли хонаи Худо,

²⁰And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

²⁰Ва бар асоси ҳаввориён ва анбиё барқарор гардидаед, ки Худи Исои Масеҳ санги зовия аст.

²¹In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

²¹Бар Ӯ тамоми иморат маҳкам пайваст шуда, ба маъбади муқаддасе дар Худованд табдил меёбад,

²²In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

²²Ва бар Ӯ шумо низ бино меёбед, то ки дар Рӯҳ маскани Худо бошед.
