1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
1ВА ба онҳо масале дар бораи он гуфт, ки кас бояд ҳамеша дуо гӯяд ва маъюс нашавад,
2Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:
2Ва гуфт: «Дар шаҳре қозие буд, ки ка тарсе аз Худо дошт ва на шарме аз мардум.
3And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
3«Дар он шаҳр бевазане буд, ки назди ӯ омада, мегуфт: "Маро аз душманонам муҳофизат намо".
4And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;
4«Муддати дуру дарозе қозӣ беэътиноӣ кард. Вале баъдтар дар дили худ гуфт: "Гарчанде ки ман на тарсе аз Худо дорам ва на шарме аз мардум,
5Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
5"Лекин азбаски ин бевазан маро ором намегузорад, вайро муҳофизат хоҳам кард, то ки ҳар дам омада, маро безор накунад"».
6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
6Ва Худованд гуфт: «Шунидед, ки ин қозии ноинсоф чӣ мегӯяд?
7And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
7«Магар Худо баргузидагони Худро, ки рӯзу шаб ба даргоҳи Ӯ зорию илтиҷо мекунанд, муҳофизат намекунад, гарчанде ки дар муҳофизати онҳо таъхир менамояд?
8I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
8«Ба шумо мегӯям, ки ба зудӣ онҳоро муҳофизат хоҳад кард. Лекин вақте ки Писари Одам биёяд, оё имонро бар замин ҳоҳад ёфт?»
9And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
9Ҳамчунин барои касоне ки ба одил будани худ эътимод дошта, дигаронро хор медиданд, чунин масале гуфт:
10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
10«Ду кас ба маъбад барои ибодат даромаданд, ки яке фарисӣ ва дигаре боҷгир буд.
11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
11«Фарисӣ рост истода, дар дили худ чунин дуо мегуфт: "Худоё! Туро шукр мегӯям, ки монанди касони дигар: тороҷгарон, золимон, зинокорон, ё монанди ин боҷгир нестам:
12I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
12"Ҳафтае ду карат рӯза медорам ва аз ҳар чизе ки ба даст меоварам, ушр медиҳам".
13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
13«Аммо боҷгир, дуртар истода, ҳатто ҷуръат надошт, ки чашмонашро сӯи осмон баланд кунад; балки синаи худро мезаду мегуфт: "Худоё! Ба мани гуноҳкор раҳм кун".
14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
14«Ба шумо мегӯям, ки ин шахс назар ба он шахс бештар сафед шуда ба хонаи ҳуд рафт: зеро ҳар кӣ худро баланд кунад, паст мешавад, ва ҳар кӣ худро фурӯтан созад, сарафроз мешавад».
15And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
15Кӯдаконро низ назди Ӯ меоварданд,то ки онҳоро ламс кунад; шогирдон инро дида, ба онҳо монеъ мешуданд.
16But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
16Аммо Исо онҳоро ҷеғ зада, гуфт: «Кӯдаконро бигзоред, ки назди Ман оянд, ва ба онҳо монеъ нашавед, зеро ки Малакути Худо ба чунин касон тааллуқ дорад;
17Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
17«Ба ростй ба шумо мегӯям: ҳар кӣ Малакути Худоро монанди кӯдак қабул накунад, ба он дохил намешавад».
18And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
18Ва сардоре аз Ӯ пурсид: «Эй Ӯстоди некӯ! Чӣ кунам, то вориси ҳаёти ҷовидонӣ шавам?»
19And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
19Исо ба вай гуфт: «Чаро Маро некӯ мегӯй? Ҳеҷ кас некӯ нест, ҷуз Худои ягона.
20Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
20«Аҳкомро медони: зино накун; қатл накун; дуздй накун; шаҳодати бардурӯғ надеҳ; падару модаратро ҳурмат кун».
21And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
21Гуфт: «Ҳамаи инро ман аз кӯдакй нигоҳ доштаам».
22Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
22Исо инро шунида, ба вай гуфт: «Туро боз чизе намерасад: ҳар он чи дорӣ, бифурӯш ва ба мискинон бидеҳ, ва дар осмон ганҷе ҳоҳй ёфт; ва омада, Маро пайравӣ кун».
23And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
23Лекин вай, чун инро шунид, андӯҳгин шуд, зеро ки бағоят сарватдор буд.
24And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24Исо андӯҳи вайро дида, гуфт: «Ба Малакути Худо даромадани сарватдорон чӣ гуна душвор аст!
25For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25«Зеро ки аз сӯрохи сӯзан гузаштани шутур осонтар аст аз он ки сарватдор ба Малакути Худо дохил шавад».
26And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved?
26Шунавандагон гуфтанд: «Пас кй метавонад наҷот ёбад?»
27And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
27Гуфт: «Он чи барои одамон ғайриимкон аст, барои Худо имконпазир аст».
28Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
28Петрус гуфт: «Инак, мо ҳама чизро тарк карда, Туро пайравӣ намудаем».
29And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,
29Ба онҳо гуфт: «Ба ростй ба шумо мегӯям: касе нест, ки хона, ё падару модар, ё бародарон, ё хоҳарон, ё зан, ё фарзандонро аз баҳри Малакути Худо тарк кунаду
30Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
30«Дар ин замон ҳеле зиёдтар ва дар олами оянда ҳаёти ҷовидонй наёбад».
31Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
31Ва он дувоздаҳро назди Худ хонда, ба онҳо гуфт: «Инак, мо сӯи Ерусалим меравем, ва ҳар он чи бо забони анбиё дар бораи Писари Одам навишта шудааст, ба амал хоҳад омад:
32For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
32«Зеро ки Ӯ ба дасти гайрияҳудиён таслим карда хоҳад шуд, ва Ӯро тамасхур кунанд, ҳақорат диҳанд, туфборон кунанд,
33And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
33«Ва тозиёна зананд, бикушанд; ва дар рӯзи сеюм Ӯ зҳьё шавад».
34And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
34Лекин онҳо чизе аз ин нафаҳмиданд; маънои ин суханон аз онҳо пӯшида буд, ва онҳо ба ин гуфтаҳо сарфаҳм нарафтанд.
35And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
35Вакте ки Ӯ ба Ериҳӯ наздик мешуд, кӯре дар канори роҳ нишаста, садақа мепурсид;
36And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
36Ва чун шунид, ки аз пешаш мардум мегузаранд, пурсид: «Ин чист?»
37And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
37Ба вай гуфтанд, ки Исои Носирй меояд.
38And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
38Дарҳол фарьёд карда, гуфт: «Эй Исо, Писари Довуд! Ба ман марҳамат кун».
39And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
39Онҳое ки дар пеш равона буданд, вайро ба ҳомӯш шуданводор карданд; лекин вай боз ҳам бештар фарьёд мезад: «Эй Писари Довуд! Ба ман марҳамат кун».
40And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
40Исо истода, фармуд, ки вайро назди Ӯ биёранд. Ва ҳангоме ки наздик омад, аз вай пурсид:
41Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
41«Чӣ меҳоҳӣ, ки барои ту бикунам?» Гуфт: «Худовандо! Мехоҳам бино шавам».
42And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
42Исо ба вай гуфт: «Бино шав! Имонат туро шифо бахшид».
43And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
43Вай дарҳол бино гашт ва, Худоро ситоишкунон, аз ақиби ӯ равона шуд. Ва тамоми мардум инро дида, Худоро ҳамду сано хонданд.
