¹Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

²And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

²Саркоҳинон ва китобдонон дар тараддуди он буданд, ки чӣ сон Ӯро ба қатл расонанд, чунки аз мардум метарсиданд.

³Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

³Ва ба дили Яҳудо, ки лақаби Исқарьютро дошт ва аз ҷумлаи он дувоздаҳ буд, шайтон даромад.

⁴And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

⁴Пас ваӣ рафта, бо саркоҳинон ва сардорон гуфтугӯ кард, ки чй сон Ӯро ба онҳо таслим кунад.

⁵And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

⁵Онҳо шод гаштанд ва ба вай пул доданӣ шуданд.

⁶And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

⁶Вай ваъда кард, ва фурсат меҷуст, то кн Ӯро дур аз чашми мардум ба онҳо таслим кунад.

⁷Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

⁷Ва рӯзи иди фатир, ки барраи фисҳро қурбонӣ кардан лозим буд, фаро расид.

⁸And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

⁸Ва Ӯ Петрус ва Юҳанноро фиристода, гуфт: «Биравед ва фисҳро барои хӯрдани мо тайёр кунед».

⁹And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

⁹Ба Ӯ гуфтанд: «Дар куҷо мехохӣ, ки тайёр кунем?»

¹⁰And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

¹⁰Ба онҳо гуфт: «Инак, вақге ки ба шаҳр медароед, марде ба шумо рӯ ба рӯ хоҳад шуд, ки кӯзаи обро бардошта мебарад; аз ақибаш равона шавед то ба хонае ки вай медарояд,

¹¹And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

¹¹«Ва ба соҳиби хона бигӯед: Ӯстод ба ту мегӯяд: меҳмонхона куҷост, ки он ҷо фисҳро бо шогирдони Худ бихӯрам?"

¹²And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

¹²«Вай ба шумо болохонаи калони мафрушеро нишон медиҳад; дар он ҷо тайёр кунед».

¹³And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

¹³Онҳо равона шуданд ва, чунон ки Ӯ гуфта буд, ё'фтанд, ва фисҳро омода карданд.

¹⁴And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

¹⁴Ва ҳангоме ки соат расид, Ӯ назди суфра нишаст, ва дувоздаҳ ҳаввориён бо Ӯ буданд.

¹⁵And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

¹⁵Ба онҳо гуфт: «Хеле иштиёқманд будам, ки пеш аз уқубати Худ ин фисҳро бо шумо бихӯрам;

¹⁶For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

¹⁶Зеро ба шумо мегӯям, ки аз он дигар нахоҳам хӯрд, то вақте ки дар Малакути Худо ба амал ояд».

¹⁷And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

¹⁷Ва косаро гирифта, шукргузорӣ намуд ва гуфт: «Инро бигиред ва дар миёни худ тақсим кунед;

¹⁸For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

¹⁸«Зеро ба шумо мегӯям, ки дигар аз шираи ангур нахоҳам нӯшид, то вақте ки Малакути Худо биёяд».

¹⁹And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

¹⁹Ва нонро гирифта, шукргузорӣ намуд ва пора карда, ба онҳо доду гуфт: «Ин Бадани Ман аст, ки барои шумо таслим карда мешавад; инро барои хотираи Ман ба ҷо оваред».

²⁰Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

²⁰Ҳамчунин косаро баъд аз таоми шом гирифта, гуфт: «Ин коса аҳди ҷадид аст дар Хуни Ман, ки барои шумо рехта мешавад.

²¹But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

²¹«Ва инак, дасти таслимкунандаи Ман бо Ман дар сари суфра аст.

²²And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

²²«Агарчи Писари Одам ончунон, ки пешакй мукяррар шудааст, меравад, лекин вой бар ҳоли он кас, ки ба воситаи ваи Ӯ таслим карда шавад».

²³And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

²³Ва онҳо аз якдигар пурсидан гирифтанд, ки кадоме аз онҳо ин корро мекарда бошад?

²⁴And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

²⁴Дар миёни онҳо инчунин баҳсу мунозира шуд, ки кадоме аз онҳо бояд бузургтар ҳисоб ёбад.

²⁵And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

²⁵Вале Ӯ ба онҳо гуфт: «Подшоҳони халқҳо бар онҳо ҳукмронй мекунанд, ва ҳокимони онҳо валинеъмат хонда мешаванд;

²⁶But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

²⁶«Аммо шумо ин тавр не: балки он ки дар байни шумо бузургтар аст, бояд монанди хурдтарин бошад, ва сардор - монанди хизматгузор.

²⁷For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

²⁷«Зеро кадоме бузургтар аст: он ки назди суфра менишинад, ё он ки хизматгузор аст? Оё на он аст, ки назди суфра менишинад? Аммо Ман дар миёни шумо монанди хизматгузор ҳастам.

²⁸Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

²⁸«Ва шумо касоне ҳастед, ки дар озмоишҳои Ман бо Ман будед,

²⁹And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

²⁹«Ва Ман ба шумо Малакуте месупорам, чунон ки Падарам ба Ман супурдааст,

³⁰That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

³⁰«То ки шумо дар Малакути Ман дар сари суфраи Ман бихӯред ва бинӯшед, ва шумо бар тахтҳо нишаста, бар дувоздаҳ сибти Исроил доварӣ хоҳед кард».

³¹And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

³¹Ва Худованд гуфт: «Шимъӯн! Шимъӯн! Инак, шайтон талабгори он буд, ки шуморо мисли гандуме аз ғарбел гузаронад;

³²But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

³²«Аммо Ман барои ту дуо гуфтам, то ки имонат таназзул накунад; ва ту як вакте, руҷуъ намуда, бародарони худро устувор гардон».

³³And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

³³Вай ба Ӯ гуфт: «Худовандо! Ман тайёр ҳастам, ки бо Ту ҳам ба зиндон ва ҳам ба мамот биравам».

³⁴And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

³⁴Лекин Ӯ гуФт: «Ба ту, эй Петрус, мегӯям, ки имрӯз, пеш аз он ки хурӯс бонг занад, ту се бор инкоркунон ҳоҳй гуфт, ки Маро намешиносй».

³⁵And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

³⁵Ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Вақте ки Ман шуморо бе ҳамьён, бе тӯрба ва бе пойафзол фиристодам, оё ба чизе эҳтиёҷ доштед?» Гуфтанд: «Ба ҳеҷ чиз».

³⁶Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

³⁶Ва Ӯ ба онҳо гуфт: «Лекин акнун касе ки ҳамьён дорад, онро бигирад; ҳамчунин тӯрбаро; ва касе ки шамшер надорад, ҷомаи худро фурӯҳта, бихарад.

³⁷For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

³⁷«Зеро ба шумо мегӯям, ки ин сухани Навиштаҳо низ бояд дар ҳаққи Ман ба амал ояд: "Аз ҷинояткорон шумурда шуд". Зеро ҳар чи дар бораи Ман аст, интиҳо меёбад».

³⁸And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

³⁸Ва онҳо гуфтанд: «Худовандо! Инак, дар ин ҷо дуто шамшер ҳаст». Ба онҳо гуфт: «Кифоя аст».

³⁹And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

³⁹Ва берун омада, аз рӯи одат, ба кӯҳи Зайтун рафт; шогирдон низ аз ақиби Ӯ рафтанд.

⁴⁰And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

⁴⁰Вақте ки ба он мавзеъ расид, ба онҳо гуфт: «Дуо гӯед, то ба озмоиш дучор нашавед».

⁴¹And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

⁴¹Ва Худаш ба масофаи андохтани санге аз онҳо дур шуда, зону зад ва дуо карда, гуфт:

⁴²Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

⁴²«Эй Падар! Агар бихоҳй, ин косаро аз Ман бигзарон; лекин на иродаи Ман, балки иродаи Ту бигзор ба амал ояд».

⁴³And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

⁴³Ва фариштае аз осмон бар Ӯ зоҳир гардида, Ӯро тақвият медод.

⁴⁴And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

⁴⁴Ва Ӯ дар изтироб афтода, бо ҷахди бештаре дуо мегуфт; ва арақи Ӯ мисли қатраҳои хун буд, ки бар замин мечакид.

⁴⁵And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

⁴⁵Баъд аз дуо барҳоста, Ӯ назди шогирдон омад, ва онҳоро дид, ки аз ғусса хоб рафтаанд.

⁴⁶And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

⁴⁶Ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Чаро ҳоб рафтаед? Барҳоста, дуо гӯед, то ки ба озмоиш дучор нашавед».

⁴⁷And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

⁴⁷Ҳанӯз ки Ӯ сухан мегуфт, инак мардуми бисьёре паядо шуданд, ва пешопеши онҳо яке аз он дувоздаҳ, ки Яҳудо ном дошт, равона буд, ва назди Исо омад, то ки Ӯро бибӯсад. Зеро ки ишорате ба онҳо дода, гуфта буд: «Ҳар киро бнбӯсам, Ҳамон аст».

⁴⁸But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

⁴⁸Ва Исо ба вай гуфт: «Эй Йҳудо! Оё Писари Одамро бо бӯса таслим мекунй?»

⁴⁹When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

⁴⁹Касоне ки бо Ӯ буданд, чун диданд, ки кор ба чй меанҷомад, ба Ӯ гуфтанд: «Худовандо! Оё ба шамшер бизанем?»

⁵⁰And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

⁵⁰Ва яке аз онҳо ғуломи саркоҳинро зада» гӯши рости вайро бурида партофт.

⁵¹And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

⁵¹Ӣсо дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Даст кашед, бас аст». Ва гӯши вайро ламс карда, шифо дод.

⁵²Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

⁵²Ва Исо ба саркоҳинон ва сардорони маъбад ва гшроне ки бар зидди Ӯ ҷамъ омада буданд, гуфт: «Гӯё бар зидди роҳзане шумо бо шамшеру таёқҳо берун омадаед, то Маро дастгир кунед!

⁵³When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

⁵³«Ҳар рӯз Ман назди шумо дар маъбад будам, ва шумо ба Ман дасти таҷовуз дароз накардед; аммо ҳоло соати шумост, ки зулмот ҳукмфармост».

⁵⁴Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

⁵⁴Ва Ӯро дастгир карда бурданд, ва ба хонаи саркоҳин оварданд. Ва Петрус аз дур аз паи онҳо равона шуд.

⁵⁵And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

⁵⁵Вакте ки онҳо дар рӯи ҳавлӣ оташ даргиронда, даври он якҷоя нишастанд, Петрус низ дар миёни онҳо нишаст.

⁵⁶But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

⁵⁶Ва канизе вайро назди оташ нишаста дид ва синчакунон ба вай нигоҳ карда, гуфт: «Ин ҳам бо Ӯ буд».

⁵⁷And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

⁵⁷Лекин вай инкор карда, ба зан гуфт: «Ман Ӯро намещиносам».

⁵⁸And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

⁵⁸Пас аз муддате як одами дигар вайро дида, гуфт: «Ту ҳам яке аз онҳо ҳастӣ». Аммо Петрус ба он одам гуфт: «Ман аз онҳо нестам».

⁵⁹And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.

⁵⁹Тахминан як соат гузаштан баъд, боз як каси дигар боисрор гуфт: «Дар ҳақиқат ин ҳам бо Ӯ буд, зеро ки вай ҷалилист».

⁶⁰And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

⁶⁰Аммо Петрус ба он кас гуфт: «Намедонам, ки ту чӣ мегӯӣ». Ва ҳанӯз вай сухан меронд, ки дарҳол хурӯс бонг зад.

⁶¹And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

⁶¹Ва Худованд рӯй гардонда, ба Петрус назар андохт; ва Петрус сухани Худовандро ба ёд овард, ки ба вай гуфта буд: «Имрӯз, пеш аз он ки хурӯс бонг занад, Маро се бор инкор хоҳӣ кард».

⁶²And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

⁶²Ва берун рафта, зор-зор гирист.

⁶³And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

⁶³Касоне ки Исоро дастгир карда буданд, Ӯро тамасхур мекарданд ва мезаданд;

⁶⁴And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

⁶⁴Ва рӯи Ӯро пӯшида, торсакӣ мезаданд ва аз Ӯ мепурсиданд: «Нубувват кун, ки Туро кӣ задааст?»

⁶⁵And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

⁶⁵Ва боз бисьёр ҳақоратҳои дигар дар ҳаққи Ӯ ба забон меронданд.

⁶⁶And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

⁶⁶Ҳамин ки чашми рӯз кушода шуд, пирони қавм, саркоҳинон ва китобдонон ҷамъ омада, Ӯро ба шӯрои худ дароварданд,

⁶⁷Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

⁶⁷Ва гуфтанд: «Оё Ту Масеҳ ҳастӣ? Ба мо бигӯй». Ба онҳо гуфт: «Агар ба шумо гӯям, бовар намекунед;

⁶⁸And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.

⁶⁸«Ва агар ба шумо савол диҳам, ҷавоб намегардонед ва Маро озод намекунед;

⁶⁹Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

⁶⁹«Минбаъд Писари Одам ба ямини қуввати Худо хоҳад нишаст».

⁷⁰Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

⁷⁰Ва ҳама гуфтанд: «Пас, Ту Пксари Худо ҳастӣ?» Ба онҳо гуфт: «Шумо мегуед, ки Ман ҳастам».

⁷¹And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

⁷¹Ва онҳо гуфтанд: «Дигар ба мо чӣ шаҳодате лозим аст? Зеро ки худамон аз забони Ӯ шунидем!»
