¹And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

¹ВА тамоми аҳли маҷлисашон бархоста, Ӯро назди Пилотус бурданд.

²And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

²Ва ба аибдор кардани Ӯ шурӯъ намуда, гуфтанд: «Мо ёфтаем, ки Ӯ қавми моро фосид мекунад, ба қайсар ҷизья додан намемонад ва Худро Подшоҳ Масеҳ меномад».

³And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

³Пилотус аз Ӯ пурсид: «Оё Ту Подшоҳи Яҳудиён ҳастӣ?» Ӯ ҷавоб дода, гуфт: «Ту мегӯй».

⁴Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

⁴Пилотус ба саркоҳинон ва ба мардум гуфт: «Дар Ин Одам ҳеҷ айбе намеёбам».

⁵And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

⁵Лекин онҳо исрор намуда, мегуфтанд, ки Ӯ қавмро ба ошӯб меоварад ва дар тамоми Яҳудо, аз Ҷалил гирифта то ин ҷо, таълим медиҳад.

⁶When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

⁶Вақге ки Пилотус инро шунид, савол дод: «Магар Ӯ ҷалилист?»

⁷And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

⁷Ва чун донист, ки Ӯ аз вилояти Ҳиродус аст, Ӯро назди Ҳиродус равона кард, ки вай низ дар он рӯзҳо дар Ерусалим буд.

⁸And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

⁸Ҳиродус Исоро дида, хеле хурсанд шуд, зеро ки кайҳо боз Ӯро Дидан мехост, чунки овозаи Ӯро шунида буд ва умед дошт, ки аз Ӯ мӯъҷизе бубинад.

⁹Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

⁹Ва ба Ӯ саволҳои бисьёре дод; аммо Ӯ ба вай ҳеҷ ҷавоб надод.

¹⁰And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

¹⁰Саркоҳиион ва китобдонон истода, бо тамоми ҷидду ҷахд Ӯро анбдор мекарданд.

¹¹And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

¹¹Ва Ҳиродус бо сарбозони худ Ӯро басо таҳқир ва тамасхур карда ва либоси дурахшоне бар Ӯ нӯшонда, назди Пилотус гардонда фиристод.

¹²And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

¹²Дар ҳамон рӯз Пилотус ва Ҳиродус бо ҳамдигар дӯст шуданд, зеро ки пештар онҳо ба якдигар адоват доштанд.

¹³And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

¹³Пилотус саркоҳинон, сардорон ва мардумро хонда,

¹⁴Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

¹⁴Ба онҳо гуфт: «Ин Одамро ҳамчун фосидкунандаи қавм назди ман овардед; ва инак, ман дар пеши назари шумо тафтиш кардам ва дар Ин Одам аз он айбҳое ки шумо ба гардани Ӯ мепартоед, чизе наёфтам;

¹⁵No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

¹⁵«Ҳамчунин Ҳиродус наёфтааст: зеро ки ман Ӯро назди вай фиристода будам, ва дар Ӯ ҳеҷ гуноҳи сазовори марг ёфт нашудааст;

¹⁶I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

¹⁶«Пас, Ӯро ҷазо дода, озод мекунам».

¹⁷(For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

¹⁷Ва вай лозим буд, ба муносибати ид, касеро барои онҳо озод кунад.

¹⁸And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

¹⁸Аммо мардум саросар фарьёд зада, гуфтанд: «Ӯро қатл кун! Барои мо Бараббосро озод кун».

¹⁹(Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

¹⁹Бараббос барои исьён ва қатле ки дар шаҳр рӯй дода буд, дар зиндон андохта шуда буд.

²⁰Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

²⁰Боз Пилотус ба онҳо сухан ронд, зеро ки мехост Исоро озод кунад.

²¹But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

²¹Лекин онҳо фарьёд зада, гуфтанд: «Ӯро маслуб кун, маслуб кун!»

²²And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

²²Бори сеюм вай ба онҳо гуфт: «Ӯ чй бадй кардааст? Ҳеҷ гуноҳи сазовори марг дар Ӯ наёфтам; пас, Ӯро ҷазо дода, озод мекунам».

²³And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

²³Вале онҳо бо фарьёди баланд исрор намуда, талаб карданд, ки Ӯ маслуб шавад; ва фарьёди онҳо ва саркоҳинон ғолиб омад.

²⁴And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

²⁴Ва Пилотус қарор дод, ки аз рӯи талаби онҳо амал кунад,

²⁵And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

²⁵Ва шахсеро, ки барои исьён ва қатл дар зиндон нишаста буд, мувофиқи хоҳиши онҳо озод кард; ва Исоро ба иҳтиёри онҳо супурд.

²⁶And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

²⁶Вақте ки Ӯро бурданд, Шимъӯн ном шахсеро, ки аз Қурин буд ва аз саҳро меомад, даст гирифта, салибро бар китфаш гузоштанд, то ки аз ақиби Исо бардошта барад.

²⁷And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

²⁷Ва шумораи азими мардум ва заноне ки барои Ӯ гирья ва навҳа мекарданд, аз акиби Ӯ равона шуданд.

²⁸But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

²⁸Ва Исо ба онҳо рӯ оварда, гуфт: «Эй дуҳтарони Ерусалим! Барои Ман гирья накунед, балки барои худатон ва фарзандонатон гирья кунед;

²⁹For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

²⁹«Зеро айёме меояд, ки хоҳанд гуфт: "Хушо нозоён, ва шикамҳое ки назоидаанд, ва пистонҳое ки шир надодаанд!"

³⁰Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

³⁰«Он вақт ба кӯҳҳо хоҳанд гуфт: "Бар мо биафтед!" ва ба теппаҳо: "Моро бипӯшонед!"

³¹For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

³¹«Зеро, агар бо дарахти сарсабз чунин кунанд, бо дараҳти ҳушк чиҳо хоҳанд кард?»

³²And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

³²Ду ҷинояткорро низ бо Ӯ барои куштан мебурданд.

³³And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

³³Ва чун ба ҷое ки Косахонаи сар ном дорад, расиданд, дар он ҷо Ӯро» ва он ҷинояткоронро - яке аз дасти росташ ва дигаре аз дасти чапаш - маслуб карданд.

³⁴Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

³⁴Исо гуфт: «Эй Падар! Инҳоро биомурз, зеро ки намедонанд чӣ мекунанд». Ва либоси Ӯро қуръа партофта, тақсим карданд.

³⁵And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

³⁵Ва мардум истода, тамошо мекарданд. Сардорон низ бо якҷоягии онҳо масхаракунон мегуфтанд: «Дигаронро наҷот медод, бигзор Худро наҷот диҳад, агар Ӯ Масеҳи баргузидаи Худо бошад».

³⁶And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

³⁶Сарбозон низ Ӯро истеҳзо мекарданд ва наздик омада, ба Ӯ сирко медоданд

³⁷And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

³⁷Ва мегуфтанд: «Агар Ту Подшоҳи Яҳудиён бошӣ, Худро наҷот деҳ».

³⁸And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

³⁸Дар болои сари Ӯ ба забонҳои юнонӣ, румй ва ибронӣ чунин лавҳае навишта овехта буданд: «Ин аст Подшоҳи Яҳудиён».

³⁹And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

³⁹Ва яке аз ҷинояткорони маслубшуда Ӯро дашном дода, мегуфт: «Агар Ту Масеҳ бошӣ, Худро ва моро наҷот деҳ».

⁴⁰But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

⁴⁰Аммо дигаре, баръакс, вайро мазаммат намуда, гуфт: «Оё ту аз Худо наметарсӣ, дар сурате ки худат низ ба ҳамин ҷазо маҳкум шудаӣ?

⁴¹And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

⁴¹Ҷазои мо аз рӯи инсоф аст, чунки мукофоти амали худро гирифтаем; лекин Ӯ ҳеҷ бадӣ накардааст».

⁴²And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

⁴²Ва ба Исо гуфт: «Эй Худованд, вакте ки ба Малакути Худ бирасӣ, маро ба ёд овар!»

⁴³And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

⁴³Ва Исо ба вай гуфт: «Ба ростӣ ба ту мегӯям, ки имрӯз бо Ман дар биҳишт хоҳӣ буд».

⁴⁴And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

⁴⁴Тақрибан соати шашуми рӯз буд, ва тамоми заминро то соати нӯҳум торикӣ фаро гирифт:

⁴⁵And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

⁴⁵Офтоб тира шуд, ва пардаи маъбад ду пора шуд.

⁴⁶And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

⁴⁶Ва Исо бо овози баланд нидо карда, гуфт: «Эй Падар! Рӯҳи Худро ба дасти Ту месупорам». Ва инро гуфта, ҷон дод.

⁴⁷Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

⁴⁷Мирисадин ҳодисаро дида, Худоро ҳамду сано хонд ва гуфт: «Ҳақиқатан Ин Одам Одил буд».

⁴⁸And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

⁴⁸Ва тамоми мардуме ки барои ин тамошо ҷамъ омада буданд, пас аз дидани ин моҷаро синазанон гашта рафтанд.

⁴⁹And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

⁴⁹Вале ҳамаи шиносҳои Ӯ ва заноне ки аз Ҷалил Ӯро пайравй намуда омада буданд, аз дур истода, инро медиданд.

⁵⁰And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

⁵⁰Ва инак, Юсуф ном шахс, узви шӯро, марди нек ва одил,

⁵¹(The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

⁵¹Ки бо қарор ва кори онҳо розй набуд, ва аз Ҳаромот ном шаҳри Яҳудо буда, худаш низ интизори Малакути Худо буд,

⁵²This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

⁵²Назди Пилотус омада, Ҷасади Исоро талаб кард;

⁵³And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

⁵³Ва онро поён фуроварда, ба катон печонд ва ба қабре ниҳод, ки аз санг тарошида шуда буд, ва то ҳол ҳеҷ кас дар он гузошта нашуда буд.

⁵⁴And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

⁵⁴Он рӯз рӯзи ҷумъа буд ва шанбе фаро мерасид.

⁵⁵And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

⁵⁵Ва заноне ки ҳамроҳи Исо аз Ҷалил омада буданд, аз дунболи вай рафтанд ва қабрро, ва чӣ гуна дар он Ҷасади Ӯ гузошта шуд, диданд;

⁵⁶And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

⁵⁶Ва чун баргаштанд, ҳанут ва равгани атрафшон тайёр карданд; ва рӯзи шанбе, мувофиқи ҳукми шариат, истироҳат карданд.
