¹And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

¹АЗ он ҷо баромада, ба зодгоҳи Худ омад, ва шогирдонаш аз ақиби Ӯ омаданд.

²And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

²Чун рӯзи шанбе расид, дар куништ ба таълим додан оғоз намуд, ва бисьёр шунавандагон дар ҳайрат монда, мегуфтанд: «Аз куҷост дар Ӯ ин чизҳо? Чӣ ҳикматест, ки ба Ӯ ато шудааст, ки чунин мӯъҷизот аз дасти Ӯ содир мегардад?

³Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

³«Оё ин ҳамон наҷҷор нест, ки писари Марьям ва бародари Яъкуб, Йӯсе, Яҳудо ва Шимъӯн аст? Оё хоҳарони Ӯ ин ҷо дар байни мо намебошанд?» Ва дар ҳаққи Ӯ ба васваса меафтоданд.

⁴But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

⁴Лекин Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Пайғамбар беқадр набошад, чуз дар зодгоҳи худ ва дар байни хешовандон ва дар хонаи худ».

⁵And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

⁵Ва дар он ҷо ҳеҷ мӯъҷиза нишон дода натавонист, ҷуз он ки дастҳояшро бар чанд беморе ниҳода, онҳоро шифо дод.

⁶And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

⁶Ва аз беимонии онҳо дар ҳайрат афтод. Дар деҳоти он музофот гашта, таълим медод.

⁷And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

⁷Пас он дувоздаҳро назди Ҳуд хонда, ба чуфтҷуфт фиристодани онҳо оғоз намуд ва ба онҳо бар арвоҳи палид кудрат дод.

⁸And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

⁸Ва фармуд, ки барои роҳ ҳеҷ чизе бо худ, ҷуз асое, нагиранд: на турбае, на ноне, на пуле дар камарбанд,

⁹But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

⁹Балки чоруқе дар по кашанд ва ду пероҳан дар бар накунанд.

¹⁰And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

¹⁰Ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Ҳар ҷо, ки ба хонае даромадед,то вақти сафар кардан дар он ҷо бимонед.

¹¹And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

¹¹«Ва ҳар ҷо, ки шуморо қабул накунанд ва ба сухани шумо гӯш надиҳанд, аз он ҷо берун рафта, ғубори пойҳои худро биафшонед, то шаҳодате бар онҳо гардад. Ба ростй ба шумо мегӯям: ҳолати Садӯм ва Амӯро дар рӯзи доварӣ аз он шаҳр саҳлтар хоҳад буд».

¹²And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

¹²Онҳо равона шуда, ба мавъиза кардан оғоз намуданд, ки бояд тавба кард;

¹³And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

¹³Бисьёр девҳоро берун карданд ва бисьёр беморонро равған молида шифо доданд.

¹⁴And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

¹⁴Чун подшоҳ Ҳиродус шунид, - зеро номи Ӯ шӯҳрат ёфта буд, - гуфт, ки Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳанда аз мурдагон эҳьё шудааст, ва аз ин сабаб мӯъҷизот аз вай ба зуҳур меояд.

¹⁵Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.

¹⁵Баъзе мегуфтанд, ки ин Ильёс аст. Аммо баъзе мегуфтанд, ки ин пайғамбар аст ё чун яке аз пайғамбарон.

¹⁶But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.

¹⁶Лекин Ҳиродус, чун шунид, гуфт. «Ин ҳамон Яҳьёст, ки ман сарашро аз тан чудо кардам; вай аз мурдагон эҳьё шудааст».

¹⁷For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.

¹⁷Зеро Ҳиродус одам фиристода, Яҳьёро дастгир карда ба зиндон андохта буд, ба хотири Ҳиродия зани Филигатус бародараш, ки вайро ба никоҳи худ дароварда буд.

¹⁸For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.

¹⁸Зеро Яҳьё' ба Ҳиродус гуфта буд: «3ани бародари худро ба никоҳ даровардани ту раво нест».

¹⁹Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

¹⁹Пас Ҳиродия ба Яҳьё кина баста буд ва мехост ӯро ба қатл расонад, лекин наметавонист.

²⁰For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

²⁰Зеро ки Ҳиродус аз Яҳьё метарсид, вайро марди одилу муқаддас медонист ва рӯихотир мекард; ба гапаш гӯш дода, бисьёр музтариб мешуд ва суханонашро ба хушй мешунид.

²¹And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

²¹Фурсате расид, ки Ҳиродус ба муносибати рӯзи таваллуди худ барои мансабдорони худ, ба мириҳазорон ва калонтарони Ҷалил базме орост, -

²²And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.

²²Ва духтари Ҳиродия ба базм даромада рақсид, Ҳиродус ва ононеро, ки ҳамроҳаш нишаста буданд, шод намуд. Подшоҳ ба духтар гуфт: «Ҳар чӣ мехоҳӣ, аз ман талаб кун, онро ба ту бидиҳам».

²³And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.

²³Ва қасам ёд кард, ки «ҳар чӣ аз ман талаб кунӣ, ҳатто нисфи қаламрави ман бошад ҳам, ба ту медиҳам».

²⁴And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

²⁴Духтар берун рафта, аз модари худ пурсид, ки «чй талаб кунам?» Модараш чавоб дод: «Каллаи Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳандаро».

²⁵And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

²⁵Вай дарҳол назди подшоҳ шитофт ва гуфт: «Мехоҳам каллаи Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳандаро ҳамин дам дар табақе ба ман ҳадия кунй».

²⁶And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

²⁶Подшоҳ басе ғамгин шуд; лекин барои поси савгандаш ва ба хотири ононе ки ҳамроҳаш нишаста буданд, хоҳиши вайро рад кардан нахост.

²⁷And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

²⁷Дарҳол подшоҳ ҷаллодеро фиристода, фармуд, ки каллаи вайро биёрад;

²⁸And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

²⁸Ҷаллод рафта, дар зиндон каллаи вайро аз тан ҷудо кард ва бар табақе ниҳода овард ва ба духтар дод, ва духтар онро ба модари худ дод.

²⁹And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

²⁹Чун шогирдонаш шуниданд, омада, ҷасади вайро бардошта бурданду гӯр карданд.

³⁰And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

³⁰Ҳаввориён назди Исо ҷамъ омада, ҳар он чиро, ки ба ҷо оварда ва таълим дода буданд, ба Ӯ нақл карданд.

³¹And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

³¹Ӯ ба онҳо гуфт: «Шумо ба танҳоӣ ба ягон ҷои хилват биравед ва каме истироҳат кунед». Зеро омаду рафт чунон бисьёр буд, ки фурсати нон хӯрдан ҳам надоштанд.

³²And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.

³²Пас ба танҳоӣ бо қаиқ ба ҷои хилват равона шуданд.

³³And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.

³³Чун мардум онҳоро равона диданд, бисьёре онҳоро шинохтанд; аз ҳамаи шаҳрҳо гшёда ба он сӯ шитофтанд ва аз онҳо пеш гузашта, назди Ӯ ҷамъ шуданд.

³⁴And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

³⁴Исо берун омада, анбӯҳи мардумро дид ва ба онҳо раҳмаш омад, зеро онҳо мисли гӯсфандоне буданд, ки чӯпон надоштанд; ва онҳоро бисьёр таълим додан гирифт.

³⁵And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

³⁵Азбаски вақт хеле гузашта буд, шогирдонаш назди Ӯ омада гуфтанд: «Ин ҷо ҷои хилват аст, вақт ҳам дер шуд;

³⁶Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.

³⁶«Инҳоро ҷавоб деҳ, то ки ба қасабаю деҳоти ин музофот рафта, барои худ ноне бихаранд; зеро ки хеҷ хӯроке надоранд».

³⁷He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?

³⁷Ӯ дар ҷавобашон гуфт: «Шумо ба онҳо хӯрок диҳед». Ба Ӯ гуфтанд: «Магар мо рафта, ба дусад динор нон бихарем ва барои хӯрдани онҳо диҳем?»

³⁸He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

³⁸Аз онҳо пурсид: «Чандто нон доред? Рафта бинед». Онхо дарьёфта, гуфтанд: «Панҷ нон ва ду моҳӣ».

³⁹And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

³⁹Он гоҳ фармуд, ки ҳамаро дастадаста бар сабза шинонанд.

⁴⁰And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

⁴⁰Пас қаторқатор, саднафара ва панҷоҳнафара нишастанд.

⁴¹And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

⁴¹Ӯ панҷ нону ду моҳиро гирифт ва ба осмон нигариста, баракат дод ва нонро пора карда, ба шогирдонаш дод, то пеши ҷамоат гузоранд; ду моҳиро низ ба ҳамаи онҳо тақсим кард.

⁴²And they did all eat, and were filled.

⁴²Ҳама хӯрданду сер шуданд;

⁴³And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.

⁴³Ва аз пораҳои нон ва моҳи дувоздаҳ сабадро пур карда бардоштанд;

⁴⁴And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

⁴⁴Хӯрандагони нон тақрибан панҷ ҳазор мард буданд.

⁴⁵And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

⁴⁵Дарҳол Ӯ шогирдонашро фармуд, ки ба қаиқ савор шуда, пеш аз Ӯ ба он соҳил сӯи Байт-Сайдо равона шаванд, то Ӯ мардумро ҷавоб диҳад.

⁴⁶And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.

⁴⁶Ва чун онҳоро ҷавоб дод, барои дуо гуфтан бар фарози кӯҳе баромад.

⁴⁷And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

⁴⁷Шомгоҳон қаиқ ба миёнаи баҳр расида буд, ва Ӯ танҳо бар хушкӣ буд.

⁴⁸And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

⁴⁸Ва онҳоро дар рондани қаиқ бемаҷол дид, зеро ки боди мухолиф мевазид; наэдики поси чоруми шаб бар баҳр қадам зада назди онҳо омад, ва мехост аз онҳо бигзарад.

⁴⁹But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:

⁴⁹Онҳо чун Ӯро диданд, ки бар баҳр кадам мезанад, гумон карданд, ки ин шабаҳ аст, ва фарьёд заданд.

⁵⁰For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and saith unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

⁵⁰Зеро ки ҳама Ӯро дида, ҳаросон шуданд. Дарҳол Ӯ ба онҳо хитоб карда, гуфт: «Ором бошед; ин Манам, ҳаросон нашавед».

⁵¹And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

⁵¹Ва назди онҳо ба қаиқ даромад; бод низ сокит шуд. Ва онҳо бениҳоят дар ҳайрат афтоданд ва тааҷҷуб карданд.

⁵²For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

⁵²Зеро ки мӯъҷизаи нонро дарк накарда буданд, чунки дилашон сахт буд.

⁵³And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.

⁵³Ва аз баҳр гузашта, ба сарзамини Чинесор омаданд ва лангар андохтанд.

⁵⁴And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him,

⁵⁴Чун аз қаиқ баромаданд, дарҳол мардум Ӯро шинохтанд.

⁵⁵And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

⁵⁵Ва сар то сари он музофот шитофтанд ва беморонро бар тахтаҳо ниҳода, ба ҳар ҷо, ки мешуниданд Ӯ он ҷост, меоварданд.

⁵⁶And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

⁵⁶Ва ба ҳар чо, ки Ӯ ба қасабаҳо ё шаҳрҳо ё деҳкадаҳо меомад, беморонро дар сари гузар мегузоштанд ва аз Ӯ илтимос менамуданд, ки фақат домани ҷомаи Ӯро ламс кунанд; ва ҳар кӣ ламс кард, шифо ёфт.
