¹Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

¹ОН гоҳ китобдонон ва фарисиён, ки аз Ерусалим буданд, назди Исо омада, гуфтанд:

²Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

²«Чаро шогирдони Ту ривоятҳои муршидонро вайрон мекунанд? Зеро ки пеш аз хӯрдани нон дастҳои худро намешӯянд».

³But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

³Ӯ ба онҳо ҷавоб дода, гуфт: «Чаро шумо ҳам ба хотири ривоятҳои худ ҳукми Худоро вайрон мекунед?

⁴For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

⁴«Зеро ки Худо ҳукм кардааст: "Падару модари худро иззат намо"; ва: "Ҳар кӣ падар ё модари худро дашном диҳад, албатта ҳалок гардад".

⁵But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

⁵«Лекин шумо мегӯед: "Ҳар гоҳ касе ба падар ё модари худ гӯяд: «Оы чи аз ман нафъ ёбӣ, ҳадия барои Худост»,

⁶And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

⁶«Баъд аз он вай набояд падар ё модари худро ҳурмат кунад". Ба ҳамин тариқ шумо ҳукми Худоро бо ривояти худ бартараф намудаед.

⁷Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

⁷«Эй риёкорон! Ишаъё дар бораи шумо некӯ пайғом дода, гуфтааст:

⁸This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

⁸"Ин мардум бо забони худ баМан наздик мешаванд ва бо лабони худ Маро парастиш мекунанд, лекин дилашон аз Ман дур аст;

⁹But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

⁹"Пас Маро бар абас парастиш мекунанд, зеро ки таълимоту аҳкоми инсониро таълим медиҳанд"».

¹⁰And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

¹⁰Ва мардумро даъват намуда, гуфт: «Гӯш диҳед ва бифаҳмед:

¹¹Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

¹¹"На он чи ба даҳон медарояд, одамро палид мекунад; балки он чи аз даҳон мебарояд, одамро палид мекунад».

¹²Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

¹²Он гоҳ шогирдонаш назди Ӯ омада, гуфтанд: Юё медонӣ, ки фарисиён ин суханро шунида, ба васваса афтоданд?»

¹³But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

¹³Дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Ҳар ниҳоле ки Падари Ман, ки дар осмон аст, нашинонда бошад, решакан хоҳад шуд;

¹⁴Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

¹⁴Юнҳоро ба ҳоли худашон бигзоред; онҳо кӯроне ҳастанд, ки ба кӯрон роҳнамой мекунанд; ва ҳар гоҳ кӯре ба кӯри дигаре роҳнамой кунад, ҳар ду дар чоҳ хоҳанд афтод».

¹⁵Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

¹⁵Петрус дар ҷавоби Ӯ гуфт: «Ин масалро ба мо фаҳмонда деҳ».

¹⁶And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

¹⁶Исо гуфт: Юё шумо низ то ҳанӯз бефаҳм ҳастед?

¹⁷Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

¹⁷Юё ҳанӯз дарк накардаед, ки ҳар он чи ба даҳон медарояд, ба шикам меравад ва аз он хориҷ мешавад?

¹⁸But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

¹⁸«Лекин ҳар он чи аз даҳон мебарояд, аз дил пайдо мешавад; ва ин чизҳо одамро палид мекунад;

¹⁹For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

¹⁹«Зеро ки аз дил хаёлоти бад, қатл, зино, фисқ, дуздӣ, шаҳодати бардурӯг ва куфр пайдо мешавад:

²⁰These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

²⁰«Ин чизҳо одамро палид мекунад; лекин бо дасти ношуста хӯрок хӯрдан одамро палид намекунад».

²¹Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

²¹Ва Исо аз он ҷо берун шуда, ба ҳудуди Сӯр ва Сидӯн рафт.

²²And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

²²Ва инак, як зани канъонӣ дар он ҳудуд пеш омада, фарьёдкунон ба Ӯ гуфт: «Худовандо, Писари Довуд, ба ман марҳамат кун! Зеро ки духтарам сахт дар чанги дев аст».

²³But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

²³Лекин Ӯ ба вай ҳеҷ ҷавоб надод. Ва шогирдонаш назди Ӯ омада, илтимос карданд: «Вайро ҷавоб деҳ, зеро ки аз ақиби мо фарьёд мезанад».

²⁴But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

²⁴Дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Ман фақат барои гӯсфандони гумшудаи хонадони Исроил фиристода шудаам».

²⁵Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

²⁵Лекин зан омада, ба Ӯ саҷда кард ва гуфт: «Худованно! Ба ман мадад кун».

²⁶But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

²⁶Дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Нони бачагонро гирифта, пеши сагон партофтан хуб нест».

²⁷And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

²⁷Зан гуфт: «Оре, Худовандо! Лекин сагон низ нонрезаҳоеро, ки аз суфраи оғоёнашон меафтад, мехӯранд».

²⁸Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

²⁸Исо дар ҷавоби вай гуфт: «Эй зан! Имони ту бузург аст; пас он чи хостӣ, барои ту бшпавад». Ва духтари вай ҳамон соат шифо ёфт.

²⁹And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

²⁹Исо аз он ҷо ҳаракат карда, назди баҳри Ҷалил омад ва бар фарози кӯҳе баромада, дар он ҷо нишаст.

³⁰And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:

³⁰Ва мардуми бисьёре назди Ӯ бо лашон, кӯрон, гунгон, маъюбон ва хеле беморони дигар омада, онҳоро пеши пойҳои Исо гузоштанд; ва Ӯ онҳоро шифо дод,

³¹Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

³¹Ба тавре ки мардум гунгонро гӯё, маъюбонро солим, лангонро равон ва кӯронро бино дида, дар ҳайрат монданд; ва Худои Исроилро ҳамду сано хонданд.

³²Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

³²Ва Исо шогирдони Худро пеш хонда, гуфт: «Ба ин мардум дилам месӯзад, зеро ки се рӯз боз назди Ман мебошанд ва барои хӯрдан чизе надоранд; намехоҳам онҳоро гурусна ҷавоб диҳам, ки мабодо дар роҳ бемадор шаванд».

³³And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

³³Шогирдонаш дар ҷавоби Ӯ гуфтанд: «Аз куҷо дар биёбон он қадар нон ёбем, ки чунин анбӯҳро сер кунем?»

³⁴And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

³⁴Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Чандто нон доред?» Гуфтанд: «Ҳафтто, ва андак моҳии майда».

³⁵And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

³⁵Пас ҷамоатро фармуд, ки бар замин бинпгинанд,

³⁶And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

³⁶Ва ҳафт нон ва моҳиёнро гирифта, бо изҳори шукргузорӣ пора кард ва ба шогирдонаш дод, ва шогирдон ба мардум доданд.

³⁷And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

³⁷Ва ҳама хӯрда сер шуданд; ва аз пораҳои бокимонда ҳафт сабадро пур карда бардоштанд;

³⁸And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

³⁸Хӯрандагон, ғайр аз занону кӯдакон, чор ҳазор мард буданд.

³⁹And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

³⁹Пас Ӯ мардумро ҷавоб дода, ба қаиқ савор шуд ва ба ҳудуди Маҷдал омад.
