¹The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

¹ФАРИСИЁН ва саддуқиён омаданд ва Ӯро озмуда, хоҳиш карданд, ки аломати осмонӣ ба онҳо нишон диҳад.

²He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

²Дар ҷавоби онҳо гуфт: «Шомгоҳон шумо мегӯед: "Ҳаво хуб хоҳад шуд, чунки осмон сурх аст";

³And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

³«Бомдодон мегӯед: "Имрӯз ҳаво бад ҳоҳад шуд, чунки осмой арғувонӣ ва гирифта мебошад". Эй риёкорон! Қиёфаи осмонро фарқ карда метавонеду аломоти замонҳоро наметавонед?

⁴A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

⁴«Насли шарир ва зинокор аломате металабад, ва ба вай чуз аломати Юнуси набӣ дода нахоҳад шуд». Ва онҳоро тарк карда, равона шуд.

⁵And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

⁵Ва чун шогирдон ба соҳили дигар убур карданд, нон гирифтанро фаромӯш карда буданд.

⁶Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

⁶Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Бохабар бошед, аз хамиртуруши фарисиён ва саддуқиён ҳазар кунед».

⁷And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

⁷Онҳо дар дили худ андешида мегуфтанд: «Ин аз он сабаб аст, ки нон нагирифтаем».

⁸Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?

⁸Исо инро дарьёфта, ба онҳо гуфт: «Эй сустимонҳо, чаро дар дили худ андеша мекунед, ки нон нагирифтаед?

⁹Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

⁹Юё ҳанӯз намефаҳмед ва дар хотир надоред он панҷ нон ва панҷ ҳазор нафар ва чанд сабадро, ки пур карда бардоштед?

¹⁰Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

¹⁰«Ва он ҳафт нон ва чор ҳазор нафар ва чанд сабадро, ки пур карда бардоштед?

¹¹How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

¹¹«Чаро намефаҳмед, ки на дар бораи нон ба шумо гуфтам, ки аз хамиртуруши фарисиён ва саддуқиён ҳазар кунед?»

¹²Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

¹²Он гоҳ фаҳмиданд, ки Ӯ ба онҳо амр фармудааст на аз хамиртуруши нон, балки аз таълими фарисиён ва саддуқиён ҳазар кунанд.

¹³When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

¹³Вақте ки Исо ба муэофоти Қайсарияи Филиппус омад, аз шогирдони Худ пурсид: «Мардум Маро, ки Писари Одам ҳастам, кӣ мегӯянд?»

¹⁴And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

¹⁴Гуфтанд: «Баъзе мегӯянд, ки Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳандаӣ, баъзе мегӯянд, ки Ильёсӣ, ва баъзе мегӯянд, ки Ирмиёй ё яке аз пайғамбаронӣ».

¹⁵He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

¹⁵Ӯ ба онҳо гуфт: «Шумо Маро кӣ мегӯед?»

¹⁶And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

¹⁶Шимъӯни Петрус ҷавоб дода гуфт: «Ту Масеҳ, Писари Худои Ҳай ҳастӣ».

¹⁷And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

¹⁷Ва Исо дар ҷавоби вай гуфт: «Хушо ту, эй Шимъӯн писари Юнус, чунки башар инро ба ту зоҳир накардааст, балки Падари Ман, ки дар осмон аст.

¹⁸And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

¹⁸«Ва Ман ба ту мегӯям: ту Петрус ҳастн, ва бар ин сахра Ман калисои Худро бико мекунам, ва дарвозаҳои дӯзах бар он голиб нахоҳад шуд;

¹⁹And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

¹⁹«Ва калидҳои Малакути Осмонро ба ту месупорам, ва он чи ту бар замин бибандӣ, дар осмон баста хоҳад шуд; ва он чи бар замин кушоӣ, дар осмон кушода хоҳад шуд».

²⁰Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

²⁰Он гоҳ ба шогирдони Худ таъин кард, ки ба ҳеҷ кас нагӯянд, ки Ӯ Исои Масеҳ аст.

²¹From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

²¹Аз ҳамон вақт Исо ба фаҳмондан ба шогирдони Худ оғоз намуд, ки Ӯ бояд ба Ерусалим равад ва аз дасти пирон, саркоҳинон ва китобдонон бисьёр азоб кашад, ва кушта шавад, ва пас аз се рӯз эҳьё шавад.

²²Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

²²Ва Петрус Ӯро ба як сӯ бурда, ба эътироз кардан шурӯъ намуд: «Ҳошо Туро, эй Худованд! Ин ба Ту ҳаргиз руй нахоҳад дод!»

²³But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

²³Аммо Ӯ баргашта ба Петрус гуфт: «Эй шайтон, аз Маи дур шав! Ту васвасакоре барои Ман ҳастӣ, зеро ту на дар бораи амру наҳйи Худо, балки аз чизҳои инсонӣ андеша мекунӣ».

²⁴Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

²⁴Он гоҳ Исо ба шогирдони Худ гуфт: «Агар касе хоҳад аз ақиби Ман биёяд. бояд хештанро инкор карда ва салиби худро бардошта, Маро пайравй намояд;

²⁵For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

²⁵«Зеро ҳар кӣ ҷони худро раҳонидан хоҳад, онро барбод медиҳад; ва ҳар кӣ ҷони худро дар роҳи Ман барбод диҳад, онро пайдо мекунад;

²⁶For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

²⁶«Ба одам чӣ фоида дорад, ки агар вай тамоми дуньёро ба даст оварад ва ба ҷони худ зиён расонад? Ё ки одалшзод ба ивази ҷони худ чӣ фидияе медиҳад?

²⁷For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

²⁷«Зеро ки Писари Одам дар ҷалоли Падари Худ бо фариштагони Худ хоҳад омад, ва он вакт ба ҳар кас мувофиқи аъмолаш подош хоҳад дод.

²⁸Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

²⁸«Ба ростӣ ба шумо мегӯям: аз истодагон дар ин ҷо баъзе ҳастанд, ки то Писари Одамро, ки дар Малакути Худ меояд, набинанд, зоиқаи маргро нахоҳанд чашид».
