¹And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

¹БАЪД аз шаш рӯз Исо Петрус, Яъқуб ва бародари вай Юҳанноро ҳамроҳи Худ бурд ва онҳоро танҳо ба кӯҳи баланде баровард,

²And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

²Ва дар пеши назари онҳо дигаргун шуд: чеҳрааш чун офтоб дурахшид, ва либосаш чун нур сафед гардид.

³And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

³Ва инак, Мусо ва Ильёс ба онҳо намоен шуданд, ки бо Ӯ гуфтугӯ мекарданд.

⁴Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

⁴Он гоҳ Петрус ба Исо гуфт: «Худовандо! Дар ин ҷо будани мо некӯст; агар хоҳӣ, дар ин ҷо се чодар месозем: яке барои Ту, яке барои Мусо ва яке барои Ильёс».

⁵While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

⁵Ханӯз вай сухан мегуфт, ва инак абри дурахшандае бар онҳо соя андохт; ва инак овозе аз даруни абр баромад, ки мегуфт: «Ин аст Писари Маҳбуби Ман, ки ҳусни таваҷҷӯҳи Ман бар Ӯст; Ӯро бишнавед».

⁶And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

⁶Чун шогирдон инро шуниданд, рӯй ба замин афтоданд ва бисьёр тарсиданд.

⁷And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

⁷Лекин Исо наздик омада, ба онҳо даст расонд ва гуфт: «Бархезед ва ҳаросон нашавед».

⁸And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

⁸Ва онҳо чашмони худро кушода, ҷуз Исо касеро надидаид.

⁹And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

⁹Чун аз кӯҳ мефуромаданд, Исо таъкид намуда,гуфт: «То Писари Одам аз мурдагон эҳьё нашавад, ин рӯъёро ба касе нагӯед».

¹⁰And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

¹⁰Ва шогирдонаш аз Ӯ пурсиданд: «Чаро китобдонон мегӯянд, ки Ильёс бояд аввал биёяд?»

¹¹And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

¹¹Исо дар ҷавоби онҳо гуфт: «Дуруст аст, ки Ильёс бояд аввал биёяд ва ҳама чизро соз кунад;

¹²But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

¹²«Лекин ба шумо мегӯям, ки Ильёс аллакай омад, ва онҳо вайро нашиноҳтанд, ва бо вай он чи ҳостанд, карданд; Писари Одам низ аз дасти онҳо уқубат ҳоҳад кашид».

¹³Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

¹³Он гоҳ шогирдон фаҳмиданд, ки Ӯ дар бораи Яҳьёи Таъмиддиҳанда ба онҳо суҳан мегуфт.

¹⁴And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

¹⁴Чун онҳо назди мардум омаданд, марде пеш омада, назди Ӯ зону зад,

¹⁵Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

¹⁵Ва гуфт: «Худовандо! Ба писари ман марҳамат кун; вай масрӯъ аст ва саҳт азият мекашад, зеро ки худро дам ба дам дар оташ меандозад ва дам ба дам дар об;

¹⁶And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

¹⁶Вайро ба шогирдони Ту овардам, онҳо шифо дода натавонистанд».

¹⁷Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

¹⁷Исо дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Эй насли беимон ва каҷрафтор! То кай бо шумо бошам? То ба кай шуморо тоқат кунам? Вайро ин ҷо назди Ман биёред».

¹⁸And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

¹⁸Ва Исо ба вай амр фармуд; ва дев аз вай берун рафт; ва он писар дарҳол шифо ёфт.

¹⁹Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

¹⁹Шогирдонаш назди Исо омада, ба танҳоӣ аз Ӯ пурсиданд: «Чаро мо онро берун карда натавонистем?»

²⁰And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

²⁰Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Ба сабаби беимонии шумо; зеро ба ростй ба шумо мегӯям: агар ба андозаи донаи хардале имон дошта бошед ва ба ин кӯҳ бигӯед: "Аз ин ҷо ба он ҷо кӯч кун", он кӯч хоҳад кард; ва ҳеҷ чиз барои шумо ғайриимкон наҳоҳад буд;

²¹Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

²¹«Лекин ин ҷинс фақат ба воситаи дуо ва рӯза берун меравад».

²²And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

²²Вақте ки онҳо дар "Ҷалил мегаштанд, Исо ба онҳо гуфт: «Писари Одам ба дасти одамон таслим карда ҳоҳад шуд,

²³And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

²³«Ва Ӯро хоҳанд кушт, ва дар рӯзи сеюм эҳьё ҳоҳад шуд». Ва онҳо бисьёр ғамгин шуданд.

²⁴And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?

²⁴Чун онҳо ба Кафарнаҳум расиданд, ҷамъкунандагони дудирҳам назди Петрус омада, гуфтанд: Юё Ӯстоди шумо дудирҳамро намедиҳад?»

²⁵He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

²⁵Гуфт: «Оре». Ва чун ба хона даромад, пеш аз он ки чизе бигӯяд, Исо ба вай гуфт: «Эй Шимъӯн, фикри ту чист? Подшоҳони ҷаҳон боҷ ва хироҷро аз киҳо мегиранд? Аз фарзандони худ ё аз бегонагон?»

²⁶Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

²⁶Петрус баӮгуфт: «Аз бегонагон». Исо ба вай гуфт: «Пас фарзандон озоданд;

²⁷Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

²⁷«Лекин барои он ки онҳоро ба васваса наандозем, ба соҳили баҳр рафта, қалмоқе биандоз, ва аввалин моҳиро, ки банд шуд, бигир; ва даҳонашро кушода, истатир хоҳй ёфт; онро гирифта, барои Ман ва барои худат ба онҳо бидеҳ».
