¹Then was Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

¹ОН гоҳ Рӯҳ Исоро ба биебон бурд, то ки Ӯро иблис биоэмояд,

²And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

²Ва чил шабонарӯз рӯза дошта, ниҳоят гурусна монд.

³And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

³Ва озмоишкунанда назди Ӯ омада, гуфт: «Агар Ту Писари Худо бошӣ, ба ин саигҳо бигӯй, ки нон шаванд».

⁴But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

⁴Дар ҷавоб гуфт: «Навишта шудааст, ки "одамизод на танҳо бо нон зиндагӣ мекунад, балки бо ҳар калимае ки аз даҳони Худо барояд"».

⁵Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

⁵Пас иблис Ӯро ба шаҳри муқаддас гирифта бурд ва бар кунгураи маъбад гузошт,

⁶And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

⁶Ва ба Ӯ гуфт: «Агар Ту Писари Худо бошӣ, Худро ба зер андоз; зеро ки навишта шудааст: "Ба фариштагони Худ дар бораи Ту амр ҳоҳад дод, ва Туро бар кафҳои худ бардошта хоҳанд бурд, ки мабодо пои Худро ба санге бизанй"».

⁷Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

⁷Исо ба вай гуфт: «Ҳамчунин навишта шудааст: "Худованд Худон худро наозмой"».

⁸Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

⁸Боз иблис Ӯро ба кӯҳи бисьёр баланде бардошта бурд ва ҳамаи мамлакатҳои ҷаҳон ва ҷалоли онҳоро ба Ӯ нишон дод,

⁹And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

⁹Ва ба Ӯ гуфт: «Агар рӯй ба замин ниҳода, ба ман саҷда кунӣ, ҳамаи онҳоро ба Тӯ медиҳам».

¹⁰Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

¹⁰Он гоҳ Исо ба вай гуфт: «Аз Ман дур шав, эй шайТон; зеро ки навишта шудааст: "Ба Худрванд Худои худ саҷда кун ва танҳо Ӯро ибодат намо"».

¹¹Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

¹¹Пас иблис Ӯро вогузошг, - ва инак, фариштагон омада, Ӯро иа,расторӣ карданд. Исо ба Кафарнахум омада, ба хшматгузории цамъиятӣ шурӯъ менамояд.

¹²Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

¹²Чун Исо шунид, ки Яҳьё дастгир шудааст, ба Ҷалил равона шуд.

¹³And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

¹³Ва Носираро тарк карда, дар Кафарнаҳум, ки дар канори баҳр аст, дар ҳудуди Забулун ва Нафтолй маскан гирифт,

¹⁴That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

¹⁴То ба амал ояд каломе ки бо забони Ишаъёи набӣ гуфта шудааст:

¹⁵The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

¹⁵"Замини Забулун ва замини Нафтолӣ, дар роҳи канори баҳр, он тарафи Ӯрдун, Ҷалили халқҳо,

¹⁶The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

¹⁶Қавме ки дар торикӣ мезистанд, нури азиме диданд, ва бар онҳое ки дар кишвари марг ва сояи он мени шастанд, нуре дурахтшод''.

¹⁷From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

¹⁷Аз ҳамон вакт Исо ба мавъиза оғоз намуд ва гуфт: «Тавба кунед, зеро ки Малакути Осмон наздик аст».

¹⁸And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

¹⁸Ва чун аз канори баҳри Ҷалил мегузашт, ду бародарро: Шимъӯнро, ки Петрус меномиданд, ва бародари ӯ Андриёсро дид, ки дар баҳр тӯр меандохтанд; зеро ки сайёди моҳӣ буданд;

¹⁹And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

¹⁹Ва ба онҳо гуфт: «Маро шйравй кунед, ва Ман шуморо сайёди мардум гардонам».

²⁰And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

²⁰Дарҳол онҳо тӯрҳои худро монда, аз паи Ӯ равона шуданд.

²¹And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

²¹Чун аз он ҷо гузашт, ду бародари дигарро, Яъкуб ибни Забдой ва бародари вай Юҳанноро дид, ки дар қаиқ бо падари худ Забдок тӯрҳои худро таъмир мекарданд, ва онҳоро даъват намуд.

²²And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

²²Ва онҳо дарҳол қаиқ ва падари худро гузошта, аз паи Ӯ равона шуданд.

²³And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

²³Ва Исо дар тамоми Ҷалил мегашт ва дар куништҳои онҳо таълим дода, Инҷили Малакутро мавъиза мекард ва ҳар беморй ва ҳар дарди мардумро шифо мебахншд.

²⁴And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

²⁴Ва овозаи Ӯ дар тамоми Сурия паҳн шуд; ва ҳамаи беморонро, ки ба дарду касалиҳои гуногун гирифтор буданд, ҳам девонагон, ҳам масрӯон ва ҳам мафлуҷонро назди Ӯ меоварданд, ва Ӯ онҳоро шифо мебахшид.

²⁵And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

²⁵Ва мардуми бисьёре аз Ҷалил, Декаполис, Ерусалим, Яҳудо ва он тарафи Ӯрдун аз паи Ӯ равона буданд.
