¹This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

¹แต่จงเข้าใจข้อนี้ด้วย คือว่าในวันสุดท้ายนั้น จะเกิดเหตุการณ์กลียุค

²For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

²เหตุว่าคนจะเป็นคนรักตัวเอง เป็นคนเห็นแก่เงิน เป็นคนอวดตัว เป็นคนจองหอง เป็นคนพูดหมิ่นประมาท เป็นคนไม่เชื่อฟังคำบิดามารดา เป็นคนอกตัญญู เป็นคนไร้ศีลธรรม

³Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

³เป็นคนไม่รักซึ่งกันและกัน เป็นคนไม่ทำตามสัญญา เป็นคนหาความใส่เขา เป็นคนไม่มีสติรั้งใจ เป็นคนดุร้าย เป็นคนชังคนดี

⁴Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

⁴เป็นคนทรยศ เป็นคนมุทะลุ เป็นคนหัวสูง เป็นคนรักความสนุกสนานยิ่งกว่ารักพระเจ้า

⁵Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

⁵เขามีสภาพทางของพระเจ้าภายนอก แต่ฤทธิ์ของทางนั้นเขาปฏิเสธเสีย คนอย่างนี้ท่านจงผินหน้าหนีจากเขาเสียด้วย

⁶For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

⁶เพราะในบรรดาคนเหล่านั้น มีคนที่แอบไปตามบ้าน แล้วนำหญิงที่เบาปัญญาหนาด้วยบาปไปเป็นเชลย แล้วพากันหลงใหลไปด้วยตัณหาต่างๆ

⁷Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

⁷ถึงจะเรียนกันอยู่เสมอ แต่ก็ไม่อาจเรียนรู้ถึงความจริงเลย

⁸Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

⁸แล้วยันเนสกับยัมเบรส์ได้ต่อต้านโมเสสฉันใด คนเหล่านี้ก็ต่อต้านความจริงฉันนั้น เขาเป็นคนใจทราม และในเรื่องความเชื่อนั้นเขาใช้ไม่ได้เลย

⁹But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.

⁹แต่เขาจะก้าวหน้าไปอีกไม่ได้ เพราะความโง่ของเขาจะปรากฏแก่คนทั้งปวง เช่นเดียวกับความโง่ของชายสองคนนั้น

¹⁰But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,

¹⁰แต่ท่านก็ประจักษ์ชัดแล้วซึ่งคำสอน การประพฤติ ความมุ่งหมาย ความเชื่อ ความอดทน ความรัก ความเพียร

¹¹Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

¹¹การถูกข่มเหง การทนทุกข์ยากลำบากของข้าพเจ้า ซึ่งได้เกิดขึ้นกับข้าพเจ้า ณ เมืองอันทิโอก เมืองอิโคนียูม และเมืองลิสตรา การกดขี่ข่มเหงที่ข้าพเจ้าได้ทนเอา ถึงกระนั้นก็ดีองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ทรงโปรดให้ข้าพเจ้ารอดพ้นจากสิ่งเหล่านั้นทั้งหมด

¹²Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

¹²แท้จริงทุกคนที่ปรารถนาจะดำเนินชีวิตตามทางของพระเจ้าในพระเยซูคริสต์จะถูกกดขี่ข่มเหง

¹³But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

¹³แต่คนชั่วและคนเจ้าเล่ห์จะชั่วร้ายมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งล่อลวงคนอื่น และก็ถูกคนอื่นล่อลวงด้วย

¹⁴But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

¹⁴แต่ฝ่ายท่านจงดำเนินต่อไปในสิ่งที่ท่านเรียนรู้แล้ว และได้เชื่ออย่างมั่นคง ท่านก็รู้ว่าท่านได้เรียนมาจากผู้ใด

¹⁵And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

¹⁵และตั้งแต่เด็กมาแล้ว ที่ท่านได้รู้พระคัมภีร์อันบริสุทธิ์ ซึ่งมีฤทธิ์สอนท่านให้ได้ปัญญาถึงความรอดโดยความเชื่อในพระเยซูคริสต์

¹⁶All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

¹⁶พระคัมภีร์ทุกตอนได้รับการดลใจจากพระเจ้า และเป็นประโยชน์ในการสอน การตักเตือนว่ากล่าว การปรับปรุงแก้ไขคนให้ดี และการอบรมในเรื่องความชอบธรรม

¹⁷That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

¹⁷เพื่อคนของพระเจ้าจะดีรอบคอบ พรักพร้อมที่จะกระทำการดีทุกอย่าง
