2

1And again he entered into Capernaum, after [some] days, and it was heard that he is in the house,
1 Pan ddychwelodd i Gapernaum ymhen rhai dyddiau, aeth y newydd ar led ei fod gartref.
2and immediately many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even at the door, and he was speaking to them the word.
2 Daeth cynifer ynghyd fel nad oedd mwyach le i neb hyd yn oed wrth y drws. Ac yr oedd yn llefaru'r gair wrthynt.
3And they come unto him, bringing a paralytic, borne by four,
3 Daethant dyn wedi ei barlysu ato, a phedwar yn ei gario.
4and not being able to come near to him because of the multitude, they uncovered the roof where he was, and, having broken [it] up, they let down the couch on which the paralytic was lying,
4 A chan eu bod yn methu dod 'r claf ato oherwydd y dyrfa, agorasant do'r tu375? lle'r oedd, ac wedi iddynt dorri trwodd dyma hwy'n gollwng i lawr y fatras yr oedd y claf yn gorwedd arni.
5and Jesus having seen their faith, saith to the paralytic, `Child, thy sins have been forgiven thee.`
5 Pan welodd Iesu eu ffydd hwy dywedodd wrth y claf, "Fy mab, maddeuwyd dy bechodau."
6And there were certain of the scribes there sitting, and reasoning in their hearts,
6 Ac yr oedd rhai o'r ysgrifenyddion yn eistedd yno ac yn meddwl ynddynt eu hunain,
7`Why doth this one thus speak evil words? who is able to forgive sins except one — God?`
7 "Pam y mae hwn yn siarad fel hyn? Y mae'n cablu. Pwy ond Duw yn unig a all faddau pechodau?"
8And immediately Jesus, having known in his spirit that they thus reason in themselves, said to them, `Why these things reason ye in your hearts?
8 Deallodd Iesu ar unwaith yn ei ysbryd eu bod yn meddwl felly ynddynt eu hunain, ac meddai wrthynt, "Pam yr ydych yn meddwl pethau fel hyn ynoch eich hunain?
9which is easier, to say to the paralytic, The sins have been forgiven to thee? or to say, Rise, and take up thy couch, and walk?
9 Prun sydd hawsaf, ai dweud wrth y claf, 'Maddeuwyd dy bechodau', ai ynteu dweud, 'Cod, a chymer dy fatras a cherdda'?
10`And, that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority on the earth to forgive sins — (he saith to the paralytic) —
10 Ond er mwyn i chwi wybod fod gan Fab y Dyn awdurdod i faddau pechodau ar y ddaear" meddai wrth y claf,
11I say to thee, Rise, and take up thy couch, and go away to thy house;`
11 "Dyma fi'n dweud wrthyt, cod, a chymer dy fatras a dos adref."
12and he rose immediately, and having taken up the couch, he went forth before all, so that all were astonished, and do glorify God, saying — `Never thus did we see.`
12 A chododd y dyn, cymryd ei fatras ar ei union a mynd allan yn eu gu373?ydd hwy oll, nes bod pawb yn synnu ac yn gogoneddu Duw gan ddweud, "Ni welsom erioed y fath beth."
13And he went forth again by the sea, and all the multitude was coming unto him, and he was teaching them,
13 Aeth allan eto i lan y mr; ac yr oedd yr holl dyrfa'n dod ato, ac yntau'n eu dysgu hwy.
14and passing by, he saw Levi of Alpheus sitting at the tax-office, and saith to him, `Be following me,` and he, having risen, did follow him.
14 Ac wrth fynd heibio gwelodd Lefi fab Alffeus yn eistedd wrth y dollfa, a dywedodd wrtho, "Canlyn fi." Cododd yntau a chanlynodd ef.
15And it came to pass, in his reclining (at meat) in his house, that many tax-gatherers and sinners were reclining (at meat) with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many, and they followed him.
15 Ac yr oedd wrth bryd bwyd yn ei du375?, ac yr oedd llawer o gasglwyr trethi ac o bechaduriaid yn cydfwyta gyda Iesu a'i ddisgyblion oherwydd yr oedd llawer ohonynt yn ei ganlyn ef.
16And the scribes and the Pharisees, having seen him eating with the tax-gatherers and sinners, said to his disciples, `Why — that with the tax-gatherers and sinners he doth eat and drink?`
16 A phan welodd yr ysgrifenyddion o blith y Phariseaid ei fod yn bwyta gyda'r pechaduriaid a'r casglwyr trethi, dywedasant wrth ei ddisgyblion, "Pam y mae ef yn bwyta gyda chasglwyr trethi a phechaduriaid?"
17And Jesus, having heard, saith to them, `They who are strong have no need of a physician, but they who are ill; I came not to call righteous men, but sinners to reformation.`
17 Clywodd Iesu, a dywedodd wrthynt, "Nid ar y cryfion, ond ar y cleifion, y mae angen meddyg; i alw pechaduriaid, nid rhai cyfiawn, yr wyf fi wedi dod."
18And the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees were fasting, and they come and say to him, `Wherefore do the disciples of John and those of the Pharisees fast, and thy disciples do not fast?`
18 Yr oedd disgyblion Ioan a'r Phariseaid yn ymprydio. A daeth rhywrai ato a gofyn iddo, "Pam y mae disgyblion Ioan a disgyblion y Phariseaid yn ymprydio, ond dy ddisgyblion di ddim yn ymprydio?"
19And Jesus said to them, `Are the sons of the bride-chamber able, while the bridegroom is with them, to fast? so long time as they have the bridegroom with them they are not able to fast;
19 Dywedodd Iesu wrthynt, "A all gwesteion priodas ymprydio tra bydd y priodfab gyda hwy? Cyhyd ag y mae ganddynt y priodfab gyda hwy, ni allant ymprydio.
20but days shall come when the bridegroom may be taken from them, and then they shall fast — in those days.
20 Ond fe ddaw dyddiau pan ddygir y priodfab oddi wrthynt, ac yna fe ymprydiant y diwrnod hwnnw.
21`And no one a patch of undressed cloth doth sew on an old garment, and if not — the new filling it up doth take from the old and the rent doth become worse;
21 "Ni fydd neb yn gwno clwt o frethyn heb ei bannu ar hen ddilledyn; os gwna, fe dynn y clwt wrth y dilledyn, y newydd wrth yr hen, ac fe 'r rhwyg yn waeth.
22and no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if not — the new wine doth burst the skins, and the wine is poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but new wine into new skins is to be put.`
22 Ac ni fydd neb yn tywallt gwin newydd i hen grwyn; os gwna, fe rwyga'r gwin y crwyn ac fe gollir y gwin a'r crwyn hefyd. Ond y maent yn rhoi gwin newydd mewn crwyn newydd."
23And it came to pass — he is going along on the sabbaths through the corn-fields — and his disciples began to make a way, plucking the ears,
23 Un Saboth yr oedd yn mynd trwy'r caeau u375?d, a dechreuodd ei ddisgyblion dynnu'r tywysennau wrth fynd.
24and the Pharisees said to him, `Lo, why do they on the sabbaths that which is not lawful?`
24 Ac meddai'r Phariseaid wrtho, "Edrych, pam y maent yn gwneud peth sy'n groes i'r Gyfraith ar y Saboth?"
25And he said to them, `Did ye never read what David did, when he had need and was hungry, he and those with him?
25 Dywedodd yntau wrthynt, "Onid ydych chwi erioed wedi darllen beth a wnaeth Dafydd, pan oedd mewn angen, ac eisiau bwyd arno ef a'r rhai oedd gydag ef?
26how he went into the house of God, (at `Abiathar the chief priest,`) and the loaves of the presentation did eat, which it is not lawful to eat, except to the priests, and he gave also to those who were with him?`
26 Sut yr aeth i mewn i du375? Dduw, yn amser Abiathar yr archoffeiriad, a bwyta'r torthau cysegredig nad yw'n gyfreithlon i neb eu bwyta ond yr offeiriaid; ac fe'u rhoddodd hefyd i'r rhai oedd gydag ef?"
27And he said to them, `The sabbath for man was made, not man for the sabbath,
27 Dywedodd wrthynt hefyd, "Y Saboth a wnaethpwyd er mwyn dyn, ac nid dyn er mwyn y Saboth.
28so that the son of man is lord also of the sabbath.`
28 Felly y mae Mab y Dyn yn arglwydd hyd yn oed ar y Saboth."
