1A Song, — A Psalm of Asaph. O God, let there be no silence to Thee, Be not silent, nor be quiet, O God.
1 1 Cn. Salm. I Asaff.0 O Dduw, paid bod yn ddistaw; paid thewi nac ymdawelu, O Dduw.
2For, lo, Thine enemies do roar, And those hating Thee have lifted up the head,
2 Edrych fel y mae dy elynion yn terfysgu, a'r rhai sy'n dy gasu yn codi eu pennau.
3Against Thy people they take crafty counsel, And consult against Thy hidden ones.
3 Gwnnt gynlluniau cyfrwys yn erbyn dy bobl, a gosod cynllwyn yn erbyn y rhai a amddiffynni,
4They have said, `Come, And we cut them off from [being] a nation, And the name of Israel is not remembered any more.`
4 a dweud, "Dewch, inni eu difetha fel cenedl, fel na chofir enw Israel mwyach."
5For they consulted in heart together, Against Thee a covenant they make,
5 Cytunasant yn unfryd 'i gilydd, a gwneud cynghrair i'th erbyn
6Tents of Edom, and Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagarenes,
6 pebyll Edom a'r Ismaeliaid, Moab a'r Hagariaid,
7Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with inhabitants of Tyre,
7 Gebal, Ammon ac Amalec, Philistia a thrigolion Tyrus;
8Asshur also is joined with them, They have been an arm to sons of Lot. Selah.
8 Asyria hefyd a unodd gyda hwy, a chynnal breichiau tylwyth Lot. Sela.
9Do to them as [to] Midian, As [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the stream Kishon.
9 Gwna iddynt fel y gwnaethost i Sisera, ac i Jabin wrth nant Cison,
10They were destroyed at Endor, They were dung for the ground!
10 ac i Midian, a ddinistriwyd wrth ffynnon Harod a mynd yn dom ar y ddaear.
11Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb, And as Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes,
11 Gwna eu mawrion fel Oreb a Seeb a'u holl dywysogion fel Seba a Salmunna,
12Who have said, `Let us occupy for ourselves The comely places of God.`
12 y rhai a ddywedodd, "Meddiannwn i ni ein hunain holl borfeydd Duw."
13O my God, make them as a rolling thing, As stubble before wind.
13 O fy Nuw, gwna hwy fel hadau hedegog, fel us o flaen gwynt.
14As a fire doth burn a forest, And as a flame setteth hills on fire,
14 Fel tn yn difa coedwig, fel fflamau'n llosgi mynydd,
15So dost Thou pursue them with Thy whirlwind, And with Thy hurricane troublest them.
15 felly yr ymlidi hwy 'th storm, a'u brawychu 'th gorwynt.
16Fill their faces [with] shame, And they seek Thy name, O Jehovah.
16 Gwna eu hwynebau'n llawn cywilydd, er mwyn iddynt geisio dy enw, O ARGLWYDD.
17They are ashamed and troubled for ever, Yea, they are confounded and lost.
17 Bydded iddynt aros mewn gwarth a chywilydd am byth, ac mewn gwaradwydd difether hwy.
18And they know that Thou — (Thy name [is] Jehovah — by Thyself,) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!
18 Bydded iddynt wybod mai ti yn unig, a'th enw'n ARGLWYDD, yw'r Goruchaf dros yr holl ddaear.
