¹There is, then, now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit;

¹ Yn awr, felly, nid yw'r rhai sydd yng Nghrist Iesu dan gollfarn o unrhyw fath.

²for the law of the Spirit of the life in Christ Jesus did set me free from the law of the sin and of the death;

² Oherwydd yng Nghrist Iesu y mae cyfraith yr Ysbryd, sy'n rhoi bywyd, wedi dy ryddhau o afael cyfraith pechod a marwolaeth.

³for what the law was not able to do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, His own Son having sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, did condemn the sin in the flesh,

³ Yr hyn oedd y tu hwnt i allu'r Gyfraith, yn ei gwendid dan gyfyngiadau'r cnawd, y mae Duw wedi ei gyflawni. Wrth anfon ei Fab ei hun, mewn ffurf debyg i'n cnawd pechadurus ni, i ddelio � phechod, y mae wedi collfarnu pechod yn y cnawd.

⁴that the righteousness of the law may be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

⁴ Gwnaeth hyn er mwyn i ofynion cyfiawn y Gyfraith gael eu cyflawni ynom ni, sy'n byw, nid ar wastad y cnawd, ond ar wastad yr Ysbryd.

⁵For those who are according to the flesh, the things of the flesh do mind; and those according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit;

⁵ Oherwydd y sawl sydd �'u bodolaeth ar wastad y cnawd, ar bethau'r cnawd y mae eu bryd; ond y sawl sydd ar wastad yr Ysbryd, ar bethau'r Ysbryd y mae eu bryd.

⁶for the mind of the flesh [is] death, and the mind of the Spirit — life and peace;

⁶ Yn wir, y mae bod �'n bryd ar y cnawd yn farwolaeth, ond y mae bod �'n bryd ar yr Ysbryd yn fywyd a heddwch.

⁷because the mind of the flesh [is] enmity to God, for to the law of God it doth not subject itself,

⁷ Oherwydd y mae bod �'n bryd ar y cnawd yn elyniaeth tuag at Dduw; nid yw hynny, ac ni all fod, yn ddarostyngiad i Gyfraith Duw.

⁸for neither is it able; and those who are in the flesh are not able to please God.

⁸ Ni all y sawl sy'n byw ym myd y cnawd foddhau Duw.

⁹And ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God doth dwell in you; and if any one hath not the Spirit of Christ — this one is not His;

⁹ Ond nid ym myd y cnawd yr ydych chwi, ond yn yr Ysbryd, gan fod Ysbryd Duw yn cartrefu ynoch chwi. Pwy bynnag sydd heb Ysbryd Crist, nid eiddo Crist ydyw.

¹⁰and if Christ [is] in you, the body, indeed, [is] dead because of sin, and the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness,

¹⁰ Ond os yw Crist ynoch chwi, y mae'r corff yn farw o achos pechod, ond y mae'r Ysbryd yn fywyd ichwi o achos eich cyfiawnhad.

¹¹and if the Spirit of Him who did raise up Jesus out of the dead doth dwell in you, He who did raise up the Christ out of the dead shall quicken also your dying bodies, through His Spirit dwelling in you.

¹¹ Os yw Ysbryd yr hwn a gyfododd Iesu oddi wrth y meirw yn cartrefu ynoch, bydd yr hwn a gyfododd Grist oddi wrth y meirw yn rhoi bywyd newydd hefyd i'ch cyrff marwol chwi, trwy ei Ysbryd, sy'n ymgartrefu ynoch chwi.

¹²So, then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh;

¹² Am hynny, gyfeillion, yr ydym dan rwymedigaeth, ond nid i'r cnawd, i fyw ar wastad y cnawd.

¹³for if according to the flesh ye do live, ye are about to die; and if, by the Spirit, the deeds of the body ye put to death, ye shall live;

¹³ Oherwydd, os ar wastad y cnawd yr ydych yn byw, yr ydych yn sicr o farw; ond os ydych, trwy'r Ysbryd, yn rhoi arferion drwg y corff i farwolaeth, byw fyddwch.

¹⁴for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God;

¹⁴ Y mae pawb sy'n cael eu harwain gan Ysbryd Duw yn blant Duw.

¹⁵for ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye did receive a spirit of adoption in which we cry, `Abba — Father.`

¹⁵ Oherwydd nid ysbryd caethiwed sydd unwaith eto'n peri ofn yr ydych wedi ei dderbyn, ond Ysbryd mabwysiad, yr ydym trwyddo yn llefain, "Abba! Dad!"

¹⁶The Spirit himself doth testify with our spirit, that we are children of God;

¹⁶ Y mae'r Ysbryd ei hun yn cyd-dystiolaethu �'n hysbryd ni, ein bod yn blant i Dduw.

¹⁷and if children, also heirs, heirs, indeed, of God, and heirs together of Christ — if, indeed, we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together.

¹⁷ Ac os plant, etifeddion hefyd, etifeddion Duw a chydetifeddion � Christ, os yn wir yr ydym yn cyfranogi o'i ddioddefaint ef er mwyn cyfranogi o'i ogoniant hefyd.

¹⁸For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory about to be revealed in us;

¹⁸ Yr wyf fi'n cyfrif nad yw dioddef-iadau'r presennol i'w cymharu �'r gogoniant sydd ar gael ei ddatguddio i ni.

¹⁹for the earnest looking out of the creation doth expect the revelation of the sons of God;

¹⁹ Yn wir, y mae'r greadigaeth yn disgwyl yn daer am i blant Duw gael eu datguddio.

²⁰for to vanity was the creation made subject — not of its will, but because of Him who did subject [it] — in hope,

²⁰ Oherwydd darostyngwyd y greadigaeth i oferedd, nid o'i dewis ei hun, ond trwy'r hwn a'i darostyngodd,

²¹that also the creation itself shall be set free from the servitude of the corruption to the liberty of the glory of the children of God;

²¹ yn y gobaith y c�i'r greadigaeth hithau ei rhyddhau o gaethiwed a llygredigaeth, a'i dwyn i ryddid a gogoniant plant Duw.

²²for we have known that all the creation doth groan together, and doth travail in pain together till now.

²² Oherwydd fe wyddom fod yr holl greadigaeth yn ochneidio, ac mewn gwewyr drwyddi, hyd heddiw.

²³And not only [so], but also we ourselves, having the first-fruit of the Spirit, we also ourselves in ourselves do groan, adoption expecting — the redemption of our body;

²³ Ac nid y greadigaeth yn unig, ond nyni sydd � blaenffrwyth yr Ysbryd gennym, yr ydym ninnau'n ochneidio ynom ein hunain wrth ddisgwyl ein mabwysiad yn blant Duw, sef rhyddhad ein corff o gaethiwed.

²⁴for in hope we were saved, and hope beheld is not hope; for what any one doth behold, why also doth he hope for [it]?

²⁴ Oherwydd yn y gobaith hwn y cawsom ein hachub. Ond nid gobaith mo'r gobaith sy'n gweld. Pwy sy'n gobeithio am yr hyn y mae'n ei weld?

²⁵and if what we do not behold we hope for, through continuance we expect [it].

²⁵ Yr hyn nad ydym yn ei weld yw gwrthrych gobaith, ac felly yr ydym yn dal i aros amdano mewn amynedd.

²⁶And, in like manner also, the Spirit doth help our weaknesses; for, what we may pray for, as it behoveth [us], we have not known, but the Spirit himself doth make intercession for us with groanings unutterable,

²⁶ Yn yr un modd, y mae'r Ysbryd yn ein cynorthwyo yn ein gwendid. Oherwydd ni wyddom ni sut y dylem wedd�o, ond y mae'r Ysbryd ei hun yn ymbil trosom ag ocheneidiau y tu hwnt i eiriau,

²⁷and He who is searching the hearts hath known what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because according to God he doth intercede for saints.

²⁷ ac y mae Duw, sy'n chwilio calonnau dynol, yn deall bwriad yr Ysbryd, mai ymbil y mae tros y saint yn �l ewyllys Duw.

²⁸And we have known that to those loving God all things do work together for good, to those who are called according to purpose;

²⁸ Gwyddom fod Duw, ym mhob peth, yn gweithio er daioni gyda'r rhai sy'n ei garu, y rhai sydd wedi eu galw yn �l ei fwriad.

²⁹because whom He did foreknow, He also did fore-appoint, conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be first-born among many brethren;

²⁹ Oherwydd, cyn eu bod hwy, fe'u hadnabu, a'u rhagordeinio i fod yn unffurf ac unwedd �'i Fab, fel mai cyntafanedig fyddai ef ymhlith pobl lawer.

³⁰and whom He did fore-appoint, these also He did call; and whom He did call, these also He declared righteous; and whom He declared righteous, these also He did glorify.

³⁰ A'r rhai a ragordeiniodd, fe'u galwodd hefyd; a'r rhai a alwodd, fe'u cyfiawnhaodd hefyd; a'r rhai a gyfiawnhaodd, fe'u gogoneddodd hefyd.

³¹What, then, shall we say unto these things? if God [is] for us, who [is] against us?

³¹ O ystyried hyn oll, beth a ddywedwn? Os yw Duw trosom, pwy sydd yn ein herbyn?

³²He who indeed His own Son did not spare, but for us all did deliver him up, how shall He not also with him the all things grant to us?

³² Nid arbedodd Duw ei Fab ei hun, ond ei draddodi i farwolaeth trosom ni oll. Ac os rhoddodd ei Fab, sut y gall beidio � rhoi pob peth i ni gydag ef?

³³Who shall lay a charge against the choice ones of God? God [is] He that is declaring righteous,

³³ Pwy sydd i ddwyn cyhuddiad yn erbyn etholedigion Duw? Duw yw'r un sy'n dyfarnu'n gyfiawn.

³⁴who [is] he that is condemning? Christ [is] He that died, yea, rather also, was raised up; who is also on the right hand of God — who also doth intercede for us.

³⁴ Pwy sydd yn ein collfarnu? Crist Iesu yw'r un a fu farw, yn hytrach a gyfodwyd, yr un hefyd sydd ar ddeheulaw Duw, yr un sydd yn ymbil trosom.

³⁵Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

³⁵ Pwy a'n gwahana ni oddi wrth gariad Crist? Ai gorthrymder, neu ing, neu erlid, neu newyn, neu noethni, neu berygl, neu gleddyf?

³⁶(according as it hath been written — `For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long, we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter,`)

³⁶ Hyn yn wir yw ein rhan, fel y mae'n ysgrifenedig: "Er dy fwyn di fe'n rhoddir i farwolaeth drwy'r dydd, fe'n cyfrifir fel defaid i'w lladd."

³⁷but in all these we more than conquer, through him who loved us;

³⁷ Ond yn y pethau hyn i gyd y mae gennym fuddugoliaeth lwyr trwy'r hwn a'n carodd ni.

³⁸for I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor messengers, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present,

³⁸ Yr wyf yn gwbl sicr na all nac angau nac einioes, nac angylion na thywysogaethau, na'r presennol na'r dyfodol,

³⁹nor things about to be, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of god, that [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.

³⁹ na grymusterau nac uchelderau na dyfnderau, na dim arall a grewyd, ein gwahanu ni oddi wrth gariad Duw yng Nghrist Iesu ein Harglwydd.
