1The burden of the Valley of Vision. What — to thee, now, that thou hast gone up, All of thee — to the roofs?
1ദര്ശനത്താഴ്വരയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പ്രവാചകംനിങ്ങള് എല്ലാവരും വീടുകളുടെ മുകളില് കയറേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങള്ക്കു എന്തു ഭവിച്ചു?
2Full of stirs — a noisy city — an exulting city, Thy pierced are not pierced of the sword, Nor dead in battle.
2അയ്യോ, കോലാഹലം നിറഞ്ഞും ആരവപൂര്ണ്ണമായും ഇരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടണമേ! ഉല്ലസിതനഗരമേ! നിന്റെ ഹതന്മാര് വാളാല് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടവരല്ല, പടയില് പട്ടുപോയവരും അല്ല.
3All thy rulers fled together from the bow, Bound have been all found of thee, They have been kept bound together, Afar off they have fled.
3നിന്റെ അധിപതിമാര് എല്ലാവരും ഒരുപോലെ ഔടിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര് വില്ലില്ലാത്തവരായി ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്നില് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവരൊക്കെയും ദൂരത്തു ഔടിപ്പോയിട്ടും ഒരുപോലെ ബദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു.
4Therefore I said, `Look ye from me, I am bitter in my weeping, Haste not to comfort me, For the destruction of the daughter of my people.`
4അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞതുഎന്നെ നോക്കരുതു; ഞാന് കൈപ്പോടെ കരയട്ടെ; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നാശത്തെച്ചൊല്ലി എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാന് ബദ്ധപ്പെടരുതു.
5For a day of noise, and of treading down, And of perplexity, [is] to the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, In the valley of vision, digging down a wall, And crying unto the mountain.
5സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവിങ്കല്നിന്നു ദര്ശനത്താഴ്വരയില് പരാഭവവും സംഹാരവും പരിഭ്രമവുമുള്ളോരു നാള് വരുന്നു; മതിലുകളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയുന്നതും മലകളോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നതും ആയ നാള് തന്നേ.
6And Elam hath borne a quiver, In a chariot of men — horsemen, And Kir hath exposed a shield.
6ഏലാം, കാലാളും കുതിരപ്പടയും ഉള്ള സൈന്യത്തോടുകൂടെ ആവനാഴിക എടുക്കയും കീര്പരിചയുടെ ഉറനീക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
7And it cometh to pass, The choice of thy valleys have been full of chariots, And the horsemen place themselves diligently at the gate.
7അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ താഴ്വരകള് രഥങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു നിറയും; കുതിരപ്പട വാതില്ക്കല് അണിനിരത്തും.
8And one removeth the covering of Judah, And thou lookest in that day Unto the armour of the house of the forest,
8അവന് യെഹൂദയുടെ മൂടുപടം നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അന്നു നിങ്ങള് വനഗൃഹത്തിലെ ആയുധവര്ഗ്ഗത്തെ നോക്കി,
9And the breaches of the city of David ye have seen, For they have become many, And ye gather the waters of the lower pool,
9ദാവീദിന് നഗരത്തിന്റെ ഇടിവുകള് അനവധിയെന്നു കണ്ടു; താഴത്തെ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം കെട്ടി നിര്ത്തി,
10And the houses of Jerusalem ye did number, And ye break down the houses to fence the wall.
10യെരൂശലേമിലെ വീടുകള് എണ്ണി, മതില് ഉറപ്പിപ്പാന് വീടുകളെ പൊളിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
11And a ditch ye made between the two walls, For the waters of the old pool, And ye have not looked unto its Maker, And its Framer of old ye have not seen.
11പഴയ കുളത്തിലെ വെള്ളം സൂക്ഷിപ്പാന് രണ്ടു മതിലുകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു ജലാശയം ഉണ്ടാക്കി; എങ്കിലും അതു വരുത്തിയവങ്കലേക്കു നിങ്ങള് തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല, പണ്ടു പണ്ടേ അതു നിരൂപിച്ചവനെ ഔര്ത്തതുമില്ല.
12And call doth the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, In that day, to weeping and to lamentation, And to baldness and to girding on of sackcloth,
12അന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു കരച്ചലിന്നും വിലാപത്തിന്നും മൊട്ടയടിക്കുന്നതിന്നും
13And lo, joy and gladness, slaying of oxen, And slaughtering of sheep, Eating of flesh, and drinking of wine, Eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.
13രട്ടുടുക്കുന്നതിന്നും വിളിച്ചപ്പോള് ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും കാള അറുക്കുക, ആടറുക്കുക, ഇറച്ചിതിന്നുക, വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്ക! നാം തിന്നുക, കുടിക്ക; നാളെ മരിക്കുമല്ലോ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു.
14And revealed it hath been in mine ears, [By] Jehovah of Hosts: Not pardoned is this iniquity to you, Till ye die, said the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts.
14സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ എനിക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിത്തന്നതുനിങ്ങള് മരിക്കുംവരെ ഈ അകൃത്യം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു മോചിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
15Thus said the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts: `Go, enter in unto this steward, Unto Shebna, who [is] over the house:
15സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കര്ത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം കല്പിക്കുന്നുനീ ചെന്നു ഭണ്ഡാരപതിയും രാജധാനിവിചാരകനുമായ ശെബ്നെയെ കണ്ടു പറയേണ്ടതു;
16What — to thee here? And who — to thee here? That thou hast hewn out to thee here — a sepulchre? Hewing on high his sepulchre, Graving in a rock a dwelling for himself.
16നീ എന്താകന്നു ഈ ചെയ്യുന്നതു? നിനക്കു ഇവിടെ ആരുള്ളു? ഇവിടെ നീ കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നതു ആക്കായിട്ടു? ഉയര്ന്നോരു സ്ഥലത്തു അവന് തനിക്കു ഒരു കല്ലറ വെട്ടിക്കുന്നു; പാറയില് തനിക്കു ഒരു പാര്പ്പിടം കൊത്തിയുണ്ടാക്കുന്നു.
17Lo, Jehovah is casting thee up and down, A casting up and down, O mighty one,
17എടോ, നിന്നെ യഹോവ തൂക്കിയെടുത്തു ചുഴറ്റി എറിഞ്ഞുകളയും.
18And thy coverer covering, wrapping round, Wrappeth thee round, O babbler, On a land broad of sides — there thou diest, And there the chariots of thine honour [Are] the shame of the house of thy lord.
18അവന് നിന്നെ ഒരു പന്തുപോലെ വിശാലമായോരു ദേശത്തിലേക്കു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ലജ്ജയായുള്ളോവേ, അവിടെ നീ മരിക്കും; നിന്റെ മഹത്വമുള്ള രഥങ്ങളും അവിടെയാകും.
19And I have thrust thee from thy station, And from thine office he throweth thee down.
19ഞാന് നിന്നെ നിന്റെ ഉദ്യോഗത്തില്നിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും; നിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്നു അവന് നിന്നെ പറിച്ചുകളയും.
20And it hath come to pass, in that day, That I have called to my servant, To Eliakim son of Hilkiah.
20അന്നാളില് ഞാന് ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി എന്റെ ദാസനായ എല്യാക്കീമിനെ വിളിക്കും.
21And I have clothed him with thy coat, And with thy girdle I strengthen him, And thy garment I give into his hand, And he hath been for a father to the inhabitant of Jerusalem, And to the house of Judah.
21അവനെ ഞാന് നിന്റെ അങ്കി ധരിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കച്ചകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അര കെട്ടും; നിന്റെ അധികാരം ഞാന് അവന്റെ കയ്യില് ഏല്പിക്കും; അവന് യെരൂശലേം നിവാസികള്ക്കും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നും ഒരു അപ്പനായിരിക്കും.
22And I have placed the key Of the house of David on his shoulder, And he hath opened, and none is shutting, And hath shut, and none is opening.
22ഞാന് ദാവീദ് ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ താക്കോല് അവന്റെ തോളില് വേക്കും; അവന് തുറന്നാല് ആരും അടെക്കുകയില്ല; അവന് അടെച്ചാല് ആരും തുറക്കുകയുമില്ല.
23And I have fixed him a nail in a stedfast place, And he hath been for a throne of honour To the house of his father.
23ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു ഒരു ആണിപോലെ ഞാന് അവനെ തറെക്കും; അവന് തന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്നു മഹത്വമുള്ളോരു സിംഹാസനം ആയിരിക്കും.
24And they have hanged on him All the honour of the house of his father, The offspring and the issue, All vessels of small quality, From vessels of basins to all vessels of flagons.
24അവര് അവന്റെമേല് അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിന്റെ സകലമഹത്വത്തെയും സന്തതിയെയും പ്രജയെയും കിണ്ണംമുതല് തുരുത്തിവരെയുള്ള സകലവിധ ചെറു പാത്രങ്ങളെയും തൂക്കിയിടും.
25In that day — an affirmation of Jehovah of Hosts, Moved is the nail that is fixed In a stedfast place, Yea, it hath been cut down, and hath fallen, And cut off hath been the burden that [is] on it, For Jehovah hath spoken!`
25അന്നാളില് ഉറപ്പുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തു തറെച്ചിരുന്ന ആണി ഇളകിപ്പോകും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതു മുറിഞ്ഞുവീഴുകയും അതിന്മേലുള്ള ഭാരം തകര്ന്നുപോകയും ചെയ്യും; യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
