1And these three men cease from answering Job, for he [is] righteous in his own eyes,
1അങ്ങനെ ഇയ്യോബ് തനിക്കുതന്നേ നീതിമാനായ്തോന്നിയതുകൊണ്ടു ഈ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാര് അവനോടു വാദിക്കുന്നതു മതിയാക്കി.
2and burn doth the anger of Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram; against Job hath his anger burned, because of his justifying himself more than God;
2അപ്പോള് രാംവംശത്തില് ബൂസ്യനായ ബറഖേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീഹൂവിന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു; ദൈവത്തെക്കാള് തന്നെത്താന് നീതീകരിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു ഇയ്യോബിന്റെ നേരെ അവന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു.
3and against his three friends hath his anger burned, because that they have not found an answer, and condemn Job.
3അവന്റെ മൂന്നു സ്നേഹിതന്മാര് ഇയ്യോബിന്റെ കുറ്റം തെളിയിപ്പാന് തക്ക ഉത്തരം കാണായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവരുടെ നേരെയും അവന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു.
4And Elihu hath waited earnestly beside Job with words, for they are older than he in days.
4എന്നാല് അവര് തന്നെക്കാള് പ്രായമുള്ളവരാകകൊണ്ടു എലീഹൂ ഇയ്യോബിനോടു സംസാരിപ്പാന് താമസിച്ചു.
5And Elihu seeth that there is no answer in the mouth of the three men, and his anger burneth.
5ആ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാര്ക്കും ഉത്തരം മുട്ടിപ്പോയി എന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു എലീഹൂവിന്റെ കോപം ജ്വലിച്ചു.
6And Elihu son of Barachel the Buzite answereth and saith: — Young I [am] in days, and ye [are] age Therefore I have feared, And am afraid of shewing you my opinion.
6അങ്ങനെ ബൂസ്യനായ ബറഖേലിന്റെ മകന് എലീഹൂ പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്ഞാന് പ്രായം കുറഞ്ഞവനും നിങ്ങള് വൃദ്ധന്മാരും ആകുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് ശങ്കിച്ചു, അഭിപ്രായം പറവാന് തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.
7I said: Days do speak, And multitude of years teach wisdom.
7പ്രായം സംസാരിക്കയും വയോധിക്യം ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിക്കയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നിങ്ങനെ ഞാന് വിചാരിച്ചു.
8Surely a spirit is in man, And the breath of the Mighty One Doth cause them to understand.
8എന്നാല് മനുഷ്യരില് ആത്മാവുണ്ടല്ലോ; സര്വ്വശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം അവര്ക്കും വിവേകം നലകുന്നു.
9The multitude are not wise, Nor do the aged understand judgment.
9പ്രായം ചെന്നവരത്രേ ജ്ഞാനികള് എന്നില്ല; വൃദ്ധന്മാരത്രേ ന്യായബോധമുള്ളവര് എന്നുമില്ല.
10Therefore I have said: Hearken to me, I do shew my opinion — even I.
10അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാന് പറയുന്നതുഎന്റെ വാക്കു കേട്ടുകൊള്വിന് ; ഞാനും എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം പ്രസ്താവിക്കാം.
11Lo, I have waited for your words, I give ear unto your reasons, Till ye search out sayings.
11ഞാന് നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; നിങ്ങള് തക്ക മൊഴികള് ആരാഞ്ഞു കണ്ടെത്തുമോ എന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉപദേശങ്ങള്ക്കു ഞാന് ചെവികൊടുത്തു.
12And unto you I attend, And lo, there is no reasoner for Job, [Or] answerer of his sayings among you.
12നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു ഞാന് ശ്രദ്ധകൊടുത്തു; ഇയ്യോബിന്നു ബോധം വരുത്തുവാനോ അവന്റെ മൊഴികള്ക്കുത്തരം പറവാനോ നിങ്ങളില് ആരുമില്ല.
13Lest ye say, We have found wisdom, God doth thrust him away, not man.
13ഞങ്ങള് ജ്ഞാനം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുമനുഷ്യനല്ല, ദൈവമത്രേ അവനെ ജയിക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങള് പറയരുതു.
14And he hath not set in array words for me, And with your sayings I do not answer him.
14എന്റെ നേരെയല്ലല്ലോ അവന് തന്റെ മൊഴികളെ പ്രയോഗിച്ചതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ വചനങ്ങള്കൊണ്ടു ഞാന് അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറകയുമില്ല.
15(They have broken down, They have not answered again, They removed from themselves words.
15അവര് പരിഭ്രമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നില്ല; അവര്ക്കും വാക്കു മുട്ടിപ്പോയി.
16And I have waited, but they do not speak, For they have stood still, They have not answered any more.)
16അവര് ഉത്തരം പറയാതെ വെറുതെ നിലക്കുന്നു; അവര് സംസാരിക്കായ്കയാല് ഞാന് കാത്തിരിക്കേണമോ?
17I answer, even I — my share, I shew my opinion — even I.
17എനിക്കു പറവാനുള്ളതു ഞാനും പറയും; എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം ഞാന് പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
18For I have been full of words, Distressed me hath the spirit of my breast,
18ഞാന് മൊഴികള്കൊണ്ടു തിങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ നിര്ബ്ബന്ധിക്കുന്നു.
19Lo, my breast [is] as wine not opened, Like new bottles it is broken up.
19എന്റെ ഉള്ളം അടെച്ചുവെച്ച വീഞ്ഞുപോലെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അതു പുതിയ തുരുത്തികള്പോലെ പൊട്ടു മാറായിരിക്കുന്നു.
20I speak, and there is refreshment to me, I open my lips and answer.
20എന്റെ വിമ്മിഷ്ടം തീരേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാന് സംസാരിക്കും; എന്റെ അധരം തുറന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയും.
21Let me not, I pray you, accept the face of any, Nor unto man give flattering titles,
21ഞാന് ഒരുത്തന്റെയും പക്ഷം പിടിക്കയില്ല; ആരോടും മുഖസ്തുതി പറകയുമില്ല.
22For I have not known to give flattering titles, In a little doth my Maker take me away.
22മുഖസ്തുതി പറവാന് എനിക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താല് എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവു ക്ഷണത്തില് എന്നെ നീക്കിക്കളയും.
