1And yet, I pray thee, O Job, Hear my speech and [to] all my words give ear.
1എങ്കിലോ ഇയ്യോബേ, എന്റെ ഭാഷണം കേട്ടുകൊള്ക; എന്റെ സകലവാക്കുകളും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊള്ക.
2Lo, I pray thee, I have opened my mouth, My tongue hath spoken in the palate.
2ഇതാ, ഞാന് ഇപ്പോള് എന്റെ വായ്തുറക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വായില് എന്റെ നാവു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
3Of the uprightness of my heart [are] my sayings, And knowledge have my lips clearly spoken.
3എന്റെ വചനങ്ങള് എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ നേര് ഉച്ചരിക്കും. എന്റെ അധരങ്ങള് അറിയുന്നതു അവ പരമാര്ത്ഥമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
4The Spirit of God hath made me, And the breath of the Mighty doth quicken me.
4ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; സര്വ്വശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം എനിക്കു ജീവനെ തരുന്നു.
5If thou art able — answer me, Set in array before me — station thyself.
5നിനക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കില് എന്നോടു പ്രതിവാദിക്ക; സന്നദ്ധനായി എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നുകൊള്ക.
6Lo, I [am], according to thy word, for God, From the clay I — I also, have been formed.
6ഇതാ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ഞാനും ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളവന് ; എന്നെയും മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിര്മ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
7Lo, my terror doth not frighten thee, And my burden on thee is not heavy.
7എന്റെ ഭീഷണി നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ഘനം നിനക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കയുമില്ല.
8Surely — thou hast said in mine ears, And the sounds of words I hear:
8ഞാന് കേള്ക്കെ നീ പറഞ്ഞതും നിന്റെ വാക്കു ഞാന് കേട്ടതും എന്തെന്നാല്
9`Pure [am] I, without transgression, Innocent [am] I, and I have no iniquity.
9ഞാന് ലംഘനം ഇല്ലാത്ത നിര്മ്മലന് ; ഞാന് നിര്ദ്ദോഷി; എന്നില് അകൃത്യവുമില്ല.
10Lo, occasions against me He doth find, He doth reckon me for an enemy to Him,
10അവന് എന്റെ നേരെ വിരുദ്ധങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു പിടിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ തനിക്കു ശത്രുവായി വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.
11He doth put in the stocks my feet, He doth watch all my paths.`
11അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ ആമത്തില് ഇടുന്നു; എന്റെ പാതകളെ ഒക്കെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.
12Lo, [in] this thou hast not been righteous, I answer thee, that greater is God than man.
12ഇതിന്നു ഞന് നിന്നോടു ഉത്തരം പറയാംഇതില് നീ നീതിമാന് അല്ല; ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെക്കാള് വലിയവനല്ലോ.
13Wherefore against Him hast thou striven, When [for] all His matters He answereth not?
13നീ അവനോടു എന്തിന്നു വാദിക്കുന്നു? തന്റെ കാര്യങ്ങളില് ഒന്നിന്നും അവന് കാരണം പറയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.
14For once doth God speak, and twice, (He doth not behold it.)
14ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ വട്ടം ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; മനുഷ്യന് അതു കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നില്ലതാനും.
15In a dream — a vision of night, In the falling of deep sleep on men, In slumberings on a bed.
15ഗാഢനിദ്ര മനുഷ്യര്ക്കുംണ്ടാകുമ്പോള്, അവര് ശയ്യമേല് നിദ്രകൊള്ളുമ്പോള്, സ്വപ്നത്തില്, രാത്രിദര്ശനത്തില് തന്നേ,
16Then He uncovereth the ear of men, And for their instruction sealeth:
16അവന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു; അവരോടുള്ള പ്രബോധനെക്കു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.
17To turn aside man [from] doing, And pride from man He concealeth.
17മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ദുഷ്കര്മ്മത്തില്നിന്നു അകറ്റുവാനും പുരുഷനെ ഗര്വ്വത്തില്നിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.
18He keepeth back his soul from corruption, And his life from passing away by a dart.
18അവന് കുഴിയില്നിന്നു അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെയും വാളാല് നശിക്കാതവണ്ണം അവന്റെ ജീവനെയും കാക്കുന്നു.
19And he hath been reproved With pain on his bed, And the strife of his bones [is] enduring.
19തന്റെ കിടക്കമേല് അവന് വേദനയാല് ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളില് ഇടവിടാതെ പോരാട്ടം ഉണ്ടു.
20And his life hath nauseated bread, And his soul desirable food.
20അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ജീവന് അപ്പവും അവന്റെ പ്രാണന് സ്വാദുഭോജനവും വെറുക്കുന്നു.
21His flesh is consumed from being seen, And high are his bones, they were not seen!
21അവന്റെ മാംസം ക്ഷയിച്ചു കാണ്മാനില്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; കാണ്മാനില്ലാതിരുന്ന അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് പൊങ്ങിനിലക്കുന്നു.
22And draw near to the pit doth his soul, And his life to those causing death.
22അവന്റെ പ്രാണന് ശവകൂഴിക്കും അവന്റെ ജീവന് നാശകന്മാര്ക്കും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
23If there is by him a messenger, An interpreter — one of a thousand, To declare for man his uprightness:
23മനുഷ്യനോടു അവന്റെ ധര്മ്മം അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആയിരത്തില് ഒരുത്തനായി മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥനായോരു ദൂതന് അവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഉണ്ടെന്നുവരികില്
24Then He doth favour him and saith, `Ransom him from going down to the pit, I have found an atonement.`
24അവന് അവങ്കല് കൃപ വിചാരിച്ചുകുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം ഇവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് ഒരു മറുവില കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയും
25Fresher [is] his flesh than a child`s, He returneth to the days of his youth.
25അപ്പോള് അവന്റെ ദേഹം യൌവനചൈതന്യത്താല് പുഷ്ടിവേക്കും; അവന് ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും.
26He maketh supplication unto God, And He accepteth him. And he seeth His face with shouting, And He returneth to man His righteousness.
26അവന് ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കും; അവന് അവങ്കല് പ്രസാദിക്കും; തിരുമുഖത്തെ അവന് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കാണും; അവന് മനുഷ്യന്നു അവന്റെ നീതിയെ പകരം കൊടുക്കും.
27He looketh on men, and saith, `I sinned, And uprightness I have perverted, And it hath not been profitable to me.
27അവന് മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പില് പാടി പറയുന്നതുഞാന് പാപം ചെയ്തു നേരായുള്ളതു മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു എന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
28He hath ransomed my soul From going over into the pit, And my life on the light looketh.`
28അവന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയില് ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം രക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ ജീവന് പ്രകാശത്തെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
29Lo, all these doth God work, Twice — thrice with man,
29ഇതാ, ദൈവം രണ്ടു മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ഇവയൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നു.
30To bring back his soul from the pit, To be enlightened with the light of the living.
30അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയില്നിന്നു കരേറ്റേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നേ.
31Attend, O Job, hearken to me, Keep silent, and I — I do speak.
31ഇയ്യോബേ, ശ്രദ്ധവെച്ചു കേള്ക്ക; മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്ക; ഞാന് സംസാരിക്കാം.
32If there are words — answer me, Speak, for I have a desire to justify thee.
32നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം പറവാനുണ്ടെങ്കില് പറക; സംസാരിക്ക; നിന്നെ നീതീകരിപ്പാന് ആകുന്നു എന്റെ താല്പര്യം.
33If there are not — hearken thou to me, Keep silent, and I teach thee wisdom.
33ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികില്, നീ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേള്ക്ക; മിണ്ടാതിരിക്ക; ഞാന് നിനക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.
