1Of man [are] arrangements of the heart, And from Jehovah an answer of the tongue.
1ഹൃദയത്തിലെ നിരൂപണങ്ങള് മനുഷ്യന്നുള്ളവ; നാവിന്റെ ഉത്തരമോ യഹോവയാല് വരുന്നു.
2All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, And Jehovah is pondering the spirits.
2മനുഷ്യന്നു തന്റെ വഴികളൊക്കെയും വെടിപ്പായി തോന്നുന്നു; യഹോവയോ ആത്മാക്കളെ തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നു.
3Roll unto Jehovah thy works, And established are thy purposes,
3നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ യഹോവേക്കു സമര്പ്പിക്ക; എന്നാല് നിന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശങ്ങള് സാധിക്കും.
4All things hath Jehovah wrought for Himself, And also the wicked [worketh] for a day of evil.
4യഹോവ സകലത്തെയും തന്റെ ഉദ്ദേശത്തിന്നായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തിന്നായി ദുഷ്ടനെയും കൂടെ.
5An abomination to Jehovah [is] every proud one of heart, Hand to hand he is not acquitted.
5ഗര്വ്വമുള്ള ഏവനും യഹോവേക്കു വെറുപ്പു; അവന്നു ശിക്ഷ വരാതിരിക്കയില്ല എന്നതിന്നു ഞാന് കയ്യടിക്കുന്നു.
6In kindness and truth pardoned is iniquity, And in the fear of Jehovah Turn thou aside from evil.
6ദയയും വിശ്വസ്തതയുംകൊണ്ടു അകൃത്യം പരിഹരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; യഹോവാഭക്തികൊണ്ടു മനുഷ്യര് ദോഷത്തെ വിട്ടകലുന്നു.
7When a man`s ways please Jehovah, even his enemies, He causeth to be at peace with him.
7ഒരുത്തന്റെ വഴികള് യഹോവേക്കു ഇഷ്ടമായിരിക്കുമ്പോള് അവന് അവന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെയും അവനോടു ഇണക്കുന്നു.
8Better [is] a little with righteousness, Than abundance of increase without justice.
8ന്യായരഹിതമായ വലിയ വരവിനെക്കാള് നീതിയോടെയുള്ള അല്പം നല്ലതു.
9The heart of man deviseth his way, And Jehovah establisheth his step.
9മനുഷ്യന്റെ ഹൃദയം തന്റെ വഴിയെ നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കാലടികളെയോ യഹോവ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു.
10An oath [is] on the lips of a king, In judgment his mouth trespasseth not.
10രാജാവിന്റെ അധരങ്ങളില് അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടു; ന്യായവിധിയില് അവന്റെ വായ് പിഴെക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.
11A just beam and balances [are] Jehovah`s, His work [are] all the stones of the bag.
11ഒത്ത വെള്ളിക്കോലും ത്രാസും യഹോവേക്കുള്ളവ; സഞ്ചിയിലെ പടി ഒക്കെയും അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയാകുന്നു.
12An abomination to kings [is] doing wickedness, For by righteousness is a throne established.
12ദുഷ്ടത പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതു രാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും വെറുപ്പു; നീതികൊണ്ടല്ലോ സിംഹാസനം സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുന്നതു.
13The delight of kings [are] righteous lips, And whoso is speaking uprightly he loveth,
13നീതിയുള്ള അധരങ്ങള് രാജാക്കന്മാര്ക്കും പ്രസാദം; നേര് പറയുന്നവനെ അവര് സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.
14The fury of a king [is] messengers of death, And a wise man pacifieth it.
14രാജാവിന്റെ ക്രോധം മരണദൂതന്നു തുല്യം; ജ്ഞാനമുള്ള മനുഷ്യനോ അതിനെ ശമിപ്പിക്കും.
15In the light of a king`s face [is] life, And his good-will [is] as a cloud of the latter rain.
15രാജാവിന്റെ മുഖപ്രകാശത്തില് ജീവന് ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ പ്രസാദം പിന്മഴെക്കുള്ള മേഘം പോലെയാകുന്നു.
16To get wisdom — how much better than gold, And to get understanding to be chosen than silver!
16തങ്കത്തെക്കാള് ജ്ഞാനത്തെ സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നതു എത്ര നല്ലതു! വെള്ളിയെക്കാള് വിവേകം സമ്പാദിക്കുന്നതു എത്ര ഉത്തമം!
17A highway of the upright [is], `Turn from evil,` Whoso is preserving his soul is watching his way.
17ദോഷം അകറ്റിനടക്കുന്നതു നേരുള്ളവരുടെ പെരുവഴി; തന്റെ വഴി സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന് തന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളുന്നു.
18Before destruction [is] pride, And before stumbling — a haughty spirit.`
18നാശത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ ഗര്വ്വം; വീഴ്ചകൂ മുമ്പെ ഉന്നതഭാവം.
19Better is humility of spirit with the poor, Than to apportion spoil with the proud.
19ഗര്വ്വികളോടുകൂടെ കവര്ച്ച പങ്കിടുന്നതിനെക്കാള് താഴ്മയുള്ളവരോടുകൂടെ താഴ്മയുള്ളവനായിരിക്കുന്നതു നല്ലതു.
20The wise in any matter findeth good, And whoso is trusting in Jehovah, O his happiness.
20തിരുവചനം പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവന് നന്മ കണ്ടെത്തും; യഹോവയില് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവന് ഭാഗ്യവാന് .
21To the wise in heart is called, `Intelligent,` And sweetness of lips increaseth learning.
21ജ്ഞാനഹൃദയന് വിവേകി എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടും; അധരമാധുര്യം വിദ്യയെ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
22A fountain of life [is] understanding to its possessors, The instruction of fools is folly.
22വിവേകം വിവേകിക്കു ജീവന്റെ ഉറവാകുന്നു. ഭോഷന്മാരുടെ പ്രബോധനമോ ഭോഷത്വം തന്നേ.
23The heart of the wise causeth his mouth to act wisely, And by his lips he increaseth learning,
23ജ്ഞാനിയുടെ ഹൃദയം അവന്റെ വായെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ അധരങ്ങള്ക്കു വിദ്യ വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
24Sayings of pleasantness [are] a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul, and healing to the bone.
24ഇമ്പമുള്ള വാക്കു തേന് കട്ടയാകുന്നു; മനസ്സിന്നു മധുരവും അസ്ഥികള്ക്കു ഔഷധവും തന്നേ;
25There is a way right before a man, And its latter end — ways of death.
25ചിലപ്പോള് ഒരു വഴി മനുഷ്യന്നു ചൊവ്വായി തോന്നുന്നു. അതിന്റെ അവസാനമോ മരണവഴികള് അത്രേ.
26A labouring man hath laboured for himself, For his mouth hath caused [him] to bend over it.
26പണിക്കാരന്റെ വിശപ്പു അവനെക്കൊണ്ടു പണി ചെയ്യിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വായ് അവനെ അതിന്നായി നിര്ബ്ബന്ധിക്കുന്നു.
27A worthless man is preparing evil, And on his lips — as a burning fire.
27നിസ്സാരമനുഷ്യന് പാതകം എന്ന കുഴികുഴിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ അധരങ്ങളില് കത്തുന്ന തീ ഉണ്ടു.
28A froward man sendeth forth contention, A tale-bearer is separating a familiar friend.
28വക്രതയുള്ള മനുഷ്യന് വഴക്കു ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു; ഏഷണിക്കാരന് മിത്രങ്ങളെ ഭേദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
29A violent man enticeth his neighbour, And hath causeth him to go in a way not good.
29സഹാസക്കാരന് കൂട്ടുകാരനെ വശീകരിക്കയും കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത വഴിയില് നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
30Consulting his eyes to devise froward things, Moving his lips he hath accomplished evil.
30കണ്ണു അടെക്കുന്നവന് വക്രത നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു; വപ്പു കടിക്കുന്നവന് ദോഷം നിവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നു.
31A crown of beauty [are] grey hairs, In the way of righteousness it is found.
31നരച്ച തല ശോഭയുള്ള കിരീടമാകുന്നു; നീതിയുടെ മാര്ഗ്ഗത്തില് അതിനെ പ്രാപിക്കാം.
32Better [is] the slow to anger than the mighty, And the ruler over his spirit than he who is taking a city.
32ദീര്ഘക്ഷമയുള്ളവന് യുദ്ധവീരനിലും ജിതമാനസന് പട്ടണം പിടിക്കുന്നവനിലും ശ്രേഷ്ഠന് .
33Into the centre is the lot cast, And from Jehovah [is] all its judgment!
33ചീട്ടു മടിയില് ഇടുന്നു; അതിന്റെ വിധാനമോ യഹോവയാലത്രേ.
