1A Prayer of the afflicted when he is feeble, and before Jehovah poureth out his plaint. O Jehovah, hear my prayer, yea, my cry to Thee cometh.
1അരിഷ്ടന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന; അവന് ക്ഷീണിച്ചു യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ സങ്കടത്തെ പകരുമ്പോള് കഴിച്ചതു.
2Hide not Thou Thy face from me, In a day of mine adversity, Incline unto me Thine ear, In the day I call, haste, answer me.
2യഹോവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; എന്റെ നിലവിളി തിരുസന്നിധിയില് വരുമാറാകട്ടെ.
3For consumed in smoke have been my days, And my bones as a fire-brand have burned.
3കഷ്ടദിവസത്തില് നിന്റെ മുഖം എനിക്കു മറെക്കരുതേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എങ്കലേക്കു ചായിക്കേണമേ; ഞാന് വിളിക്കുന്ന നാളില് വേഗത്തില് എനിക്കു ഉത്തരമരുളേണമേ.
4Smitten as the herb, and withered, is my heart, For I have forgotten to eat my bread.
4എന്റെ നാളുകള് പുകപോലെ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്നു; എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് തീക്കൊള്ളിപോല വെന്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
5From the voice of my sighing Hath my bone cleaved to my flesh.
5എന്റെ ഹൃദയം അരിഞ്ഞ പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് ഭക്ഷണംകഴിപ്പാന് മറന്നുപോകുന്നു.
6I have been like to a pelican of the wilderness, I have been as an owl of the dry places.
6എന്റെ ഞരക്കത്തിന്റെ ഒച്ചനിമിത്തം എന്റെ അസ്ഥികള് മാംസത്തോടു പറ്റുന്നു.
7I have watched, and I am As a bird alone on the roof.
7ഞാന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ വേഴാമ്പല്പോലെ ആകുന്നു; ശൂന്യസ്ഥലത്തെ മൂങ്ങാപോലെ തന്നേ.
8All the day mine enemies reproached me, Those mad at me have sworn against me.
8ഞാന് ഉറക്കിളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; വീട്ടിന്മുകളില് തനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കുരികില് പോലെ ആകുന്നു.
9Because ashes as bread I have eaten, And my drink with weeping have mingled,
9എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള് ഇടവിടാതെ എന്നെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു ചീറുന്നവര് എന്റെ പേര് ചൊല്ലി ശപിക്കുന്നു.
10From Thine indignation and Thy wrath, For Thou hast lifted me up, And dost cast me down.
10ഞാന് അപ്പംപോലെ ചാരം തിന്നുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനീയത്തില് കണ്ണുനീര് കലക്കുന്നു;
11My days as a shadow [are] stretched out, And I — as the herb I am withered.
11നിന്റെ കോപവും ക്രോധവും ഹേതുവായിട്ടു തന്നേ; നീ എന്നെ എടുത്തു എറിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
12And Thou, O Jehovah, to the age abidest, And Thy memorial to all generations.
12എന്റെ ആയുസ്സു ചാഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന നിഴല് പോലെയാകുന്നു; ഞാന് പുല്ലുപോലെ ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നു.
13Thou — Thou risest — Thou pitiest Zion, For the time to favour her, For the appointed time hath come.
13നീയോ, യഹോവേ, എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളവന് ; നിന്റെ നാമം തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിലനിലക്കുന്നു.
14For Thy servants have been pleased with her stones, And her dust they favour.
14നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു സീയോനോടു കരുണ കാണിക്കും; അവളോടു കൃപ കാണിപ്പാനുള്ള കാലം, അതേ, അതിന്നു സമയം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
15And nations fear the name of Jehovah, And all kings of the earth Thine honour,
15നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാര്ക്കും അവളുടെ കല്ലുകളോടു താല്പര്യവും അവളുടെ പൂഴിയോടു അലിവും തോന്നുന്നു.
16For Jehovah hath builded Zion, He hath been seen in His honour,
16യഹോവ സീയോനെ പണികയും തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തില് പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകയും
17He turned unto the prayer of the destitute, And He hath not despised their prayer.
17അവന് അഗതികളുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കടാക്ഷിക്കയും അവരുടെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന നിരസിക്കാതെയിരിക്കയും ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു
18This is written for a later generation, And the people created do praise Jah.
18ജാതികള് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലരാജാക്കന്മാരും നിന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെയും ഭയപ്പെടും.
19For He hath looked From the high place of His sanctuary. Jehovah from heaven unto earth looked attentively,
19വരുവാനിരിക്കുന്ന തലമുറെക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇതു എഴുതിവേക്കും; സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുവാനുള്ള ജനം യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.
20To hear the groan of the prisoner, To loose sons of death,
20യഹോവയെ സേവിപ്പാന് ജാതികളും രാജ്യങ്ങളും കൂടി വന്നപ്പോള്
21To declare in Zion the name of Jehovah, And His praise in Jerusalem,
21സീയോനില് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും യെരൂശലേമില് അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു
22In the peoples being gathered together, And the kingdoms — to serve Jehovah.
22ബദ്ധന്മാരുടെ ഞരക്കം കേള്പ്പാനും മരണത്തിന്നു നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ വിടുവിപ്പാനും
23He hath humbled in the way my power, He hath shortened my days.
23യഹോവ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമായ ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു നോക്കി സ്വര്ഗ്ഗത്തില്നിന്നു ഭൂമിയെ തൃക്കണ്പാര്ത്തുവല്ലോ.
24I say, `My God, take me not up in the midst of my days,` Through all generations [are] Thine years.
24അവന് വഴിയില്വെച്ചു എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷയിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന് എന്റെ നാളുകളെ ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
25Beforetime the earth Thou didst found, And the work of Thy hands [are] the heavens.
25എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, ആയുസ്സിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തില് എന്നെ എടുത്തുകളയരുതേ എന്നു ഞാന് പറഞ്ഞു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് തലമുറതലമുറയായി ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
26They — They perish, and Thou remainest, And all of them as a garment become old, As clothing Thou changest them, And they are changed.
26പൂര്വ്വകാലത്തു നീ ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനമായിട്ടു; ആകാശം നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.
27And Thou [art] the same, and Thine years are not finished.
27അവ നശിക്കും നീയോ നിലനിലക്കും; അവയെല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും; ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ മാറ്റും; അവ മാറിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.
28The sons of Thy servants do continue, And their seed before Thee is established!
28നീയോ അനന്യനാകുന്നു; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള് അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല.
29നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാരുടെ മക്കള് നിര്ഭയം വസിക്കും; അവരുടെ സന്തതി നിന്റെ സന്നിധിയില് നിലനിലക്കും.
