1Give ye thanks to Jehovah — call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.
1യഹോവേക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്വിന് ; തന് നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിപ്പിന് ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയില് അറിയിപ്പിന് .
2Sing ye to Him — sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.
2അവന്നു പാടുവിന് ; അവന്നു കീര്ത്തനം പാടുവിന് ; അവന്റെ സകലഅത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിപ്പിന് .
3Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.
3അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തില് പ്രശംസിപ്പിന് ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.
4Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.
4യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ബലത്തെയും തിരവിന് ; അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഇടവിടാതെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിന് .
5Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.
5അവന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും അവന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന് മക്കളുമായുള്ളോരേ,
6O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
6അവന് ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വായുടെ ന്യായവിധികളും ഔര്ത്തുകൊള്വിന് .
7He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
7അവന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികള് സര്വ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഉണ്ടു.
8He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,
8അവന് തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും താന് കല്പിച്ച വചനത്തെ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളവും ഔര്ക്കുംന്നു.
9That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
9അവന് അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നേ.
10And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during,
10അതിനെ അവന് യാക്കോബിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടമായും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായും നിയമിച്ചു.
11Saying, `To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,`
11നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഔഹരിയായി ഞാന് നിനക്കു കനാന് ദേശം തരും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
12In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.
12അവര് അന്നു എണ്ണത്തില് കുറഞ്ഞവരും ആള് ചുരുങ്ങിയവരും അവിടെ പരദേശികളും ആയിരുന്നു.
13And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.
13അവര് ഒരു ജാതിയെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും പോകും.
14He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.
14അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിപ്പാന് അവന് ആരെയും സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവരുടെ നിമിത്തം അവന് രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു
15`Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.`
15എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുതു, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാര്ക്കും ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
16And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.
16അവന് ദേശത്തു ഒരു ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി. അപ്പമെന്ന കോലിനെ അശേഷം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
17He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.
17അവര്ക്കും മുമ്പായി അവന് ഒരാളെ അയച്ചു; യോസേഫിനെ അവര് ദാസനായി വിറ്റുവല്ലോ.
18They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,
18യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകയും അവന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടിനാല് അവന്നു ശോധന വരികയും ചെയ്യുവോളം
19Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.
19അവര് അവന്റെ കാലുകളെ വിലങ്ങുകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിക്കയും അവന് ഇരിമ്പു ചങ്ങലയില് കുടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.
20The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.
20രാജാവു ആളയച്ചു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികളുടെ അധിപതി അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.
21He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.
21അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ബന്ധിച്ചുകൊള്വാനും അവന്റെ മന്ത്രിമാര്ക്കും ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാനും
22To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.
22തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്നു അവനെ കര്ത്താവായും തന്റെ സര്വ്വസമ്പത്തിന്നും അധിപതിയായും നിയമിച്ചു.
23And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.
23അപ്പോള് യിസ്രായേല് മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; യാക്കോബ് ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു വന്നു പാര്ത്തു.
24And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.
24ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വര്ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും അവരുടെ വൈരികളെക്കാള് അവരെ ബലവാന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
25He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.
25തന്റെ ജനത്തെ പകെപ്പാനും തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോടു ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിപ്പാനും അവന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
26He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.
26അവന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയെയും താന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും അയച്ചു.
27They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
27ഇവര് അവരുടെ ഇടയില് അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചു.
28He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.
28അവന് ഇരുള് അയച്ചു ദേശത്തെ ഇരുട്ടാക്കി; അവര് അവന്റെ വചനത്തോടു മറുത്തതുമില്ല;
29He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.
29അവന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളത്തെ രക്തമാക്കി, അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
30Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.
30അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു തവള വ്യാപിച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയറകളില്പോലും നിറഞ്ഞു.
31He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.
31അവന് കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള് നായീച്ചയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും വന്നു;
32He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.
32അവന് അവര്ക്കും മഴെക്കു പകരം കല്മഴയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തില് അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അയച്ചു.
33And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.
33അവന് അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തി വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകര്ത്തു; അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
34He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm — innumerable,
34അവന് കല്പിച്ചപ്പോള് വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും തുള്ളനും അനവധിയായി വന്നു,
35And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.
35അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ സസ്യം ഒക്കെയും അവരുടെ വയലിലെ വിളയും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
36And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,
36അവന് അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും അവരുടെ സര്വ്വവീര്യത്തിന് ആദ്യഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.
37And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.
37അവന് അവരെ വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളില് ഒരു ബലഹീനനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
38Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.
38അവര് പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് മിസ്രയീം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവരെയുള്ള പേടി അവരുടെമേല് വീണിരുന്നു.
39He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.
39അവന് തണലിന്നായി ഒരു മേഘം വിരിച്ചു; രാത്രിയില് വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി തീ നിറുത്തി.
40They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.
40അവര് ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള് അവന് കാടകളെ കൊടുത്തു; സ്വര്ഗ്ഗീയഭോജനംകൊണ്ടും അവര്ക്കും തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി.
41He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places — a river.
41അവന് പാറയെ പിളര്ന്നു, വെള്ളം ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അതു ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നദിയായി ഒഴുകി.
42For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,
42അവന് തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവചനത്തെയും തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെയും ഔര്ത്തു.
43And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.
43അവന് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സന്തോഷത്തോടും താന് തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.
44And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,
44അവര് തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കയും തന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണങ്ങളെ ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു
45That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
45അവന് ജാതികളുടെ ദേശങ്ങളെ അവര്ക്കും കൊടുത്തു; അവര് വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന് .
