1A Song of the Ascents. From depths I have called Thee, Jehovah.
1ആരോഹണ ഗീതം
2Lord, hearken to my voice, Thine ears are attentive to the voice of my supplications.
2യഹോവേ, ആഴത്തില്നിന്നു ഞാന് നിന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;
3If iniquities Thou dost observe, O Lord, who doth stand?
3കര്ത്താവേ, എന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന കേള്ക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ ചെവി എന്റെ യാചനകള്ക്കു ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കേണമേ.
4But with Thee [is] forgiveness, that Thou mayest be feared.
4യഹോവേ, നീ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഔര്മ്മവെച്ചാല് കര്ത്താവേ, ആര് നിലനിലക്കും?
5I hoped [for] Jehovah — hoped hath my soul, And for His word I have waited.
5എങ്കിലും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാന് തക്കവണ്ണം നിന്റെ പക്കല് വിമോചനം ഉണ്ടു.
6My soul [is] for the Lord, More than those watching for morning, Watching for morning!
6ഞാന് യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ഉള്ളം കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തില് ഞാന് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
7Israel doth wait on Jehovah, For with Jehovah [is] kindness, And abundant with Him [is] redemption.
7ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള്, ഉഷസ്സിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നവരെക്കാള് എന്റെ ഉള്ളം യഹോവെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
8And He doth redeem Israel from all his iniquities!
8യിസ്രായേലേ, യഹോവയില് പ്രത്യാശവെച്ചുകൊള്ക; യഹോവേക്കു കൃപയും അവന്റെപക്കല് ധാരാളം വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടു.
9അവന് യിസ്രായേലിനെ അവന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളില്നിന്നൊക്കെയും വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.
