1To the Overseer. — By a servant of Jehovah, by David, who hath spoken to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul, and he saith: — I love Thee, O Jehovah, my strength.
1എന്റെ ബലമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാന് നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.
2Jehovah [is] my rock, and my bulwark, And my deliverer, My God [is] my rock, I trust in Him: My shield, and a horn of my salvation, My high tower.
2യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവും ഞാന് ശരണമാക്കുന്ന എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ആകുന്നു.
3The `Praised One` I call Jehovah, And from my enemies I am saved.
3സ്തൂത്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാന് വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യില്നിന്നു രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
4Compassed me have cords of death, And streams of the worthless make me afraid.
4മരണപാശങ്ങള് എന്നെ ചുറ്റി; അഗാധപ്രവാഹങ്ങള് എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു.
5Cords of Sheol have surrounded me, Before me have been snares of death.
5പാതാളപാശങ്ങള് എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികളും എന്നെ തുടര്ന്നു പിടിച്ചു.
6In mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I cry. He heareth from His temple my voice, And My cry before Him cometh into His ears.
6എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയില് ഞാന് യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തില്നിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; തിരുമുമ്പില് ഞാന് കഴിച്ച പ്രാര്ത്ഥന അവന്റെ ചെവിയില് എത്തി.
7And shake and tremble doth the earth, And foundations of hills are troubled, And they shake — because He hath wrath.
7ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിവിറെച്ചു; മലകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് ഇളകി; അവന് കോപിക്കയാല് അവകുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.
8Gone up hath smoke by His nostrils, And fire from His mouth consumeth, Coals have been kindled by it.
8അവന്റെ മൂക്കില്നിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി; അവന്റെ വായില്നിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു. തീക്കനല് അവങ്കല്നിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു.
9And He inclineth the heavens, and cometh down, And thick darkness [is] under His feet.
9അവന് ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുള് അവന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
10And He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And He flieth on wings of wind.
10അവന് കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു; അവന് കാറ്റിന്റെ ചിറകിന്മേലിരുന്നു പറപ്പിച്ചു.
11He maketh darkness His secret place, Round about Him His tabernacle, Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
11അവന് അന്ധകാരത്തെ തന്റെ മറവും ജലതമസ്സിനെയും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെയും തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും കൂടാരവുമാക്കി.
12From the brightness over-against Him His thick clouds have passed on, Hail and coals of fire.
12അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താല് ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും അവന്റെ മേഘങ്ങളില്കൂടി പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.
13And thunder in the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice, Hail and coals of fire.
13യഹോവ ആകാശത്തില് ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതന് തന്റെ നാദം കേള്പ്പിച്ചു, ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.
14And He sendeth His arrows and scattereth them, And much lightning, and crusheth them.
14അവന് അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു; മിന്നല് അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.
15And seen are the streams of waters, And revealed are foundations of the earth. From Thy rebuke, O Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of Thine anger.
15യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ഭര്ത്സനത്താലും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാലും നീര്ത്തോടുകള് കാണായ്വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങള് വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.
16He sendeth from above — He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.
16അവന് ഉയരത്തില്നിന്നു കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തില്നിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു
17He delivereth me from my strong enemy, And from those hating me, For they have been stronger than I.
17ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യില്നിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കല്നിന്നും അവന് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവര് എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവരായിരുന്നു.
18They go before me in a day of my calamity And Jehovah is for a support to me.
18എന്റെ അനര്ത്ഥദിവസത്തില് അവര് എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാല് യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.
19And He bringeth me forth to a large place, He draweth me out, because He delighted in me.
19അവന് എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നില് പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
20Jehovah doth recompense me According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.
20യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.
21For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.
21ഞാന് യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.
22For all His judgments [are] before me, And His statutes I turn not from me.
22അവന്റെ വിധികള് ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പില് ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ഞാന് വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.
23And I am perfect with him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.
23ഞാന് അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു; അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ കാത്തു.
24And Jehovah doth return to me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, Over-against his eyes.
24യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിപ്രകാരവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയില് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കുള്ള വെടിപ്പിന് പ്രകാരവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.
25With the kind Thou showest Thyself kind, With a perfect man showest Thyself perfect.
25ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലു ആകുന്നു; നഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കന് ;
26With the pure Thou showest Thyself pure, And with the perverse showest Thyself a wrestler,
26നിര്മ്മലനോടു നീ നിര്മ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.
27For Thou a poor people savest, And the eyes of the high causest to fall.
27എളിയജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ നീ താഴ്ത്തും.
28For Thou — Thou lightest my lamp, Jehovah my God enlighteneth my darkness.
28നീ എന്റെ ദീപത്തെ കത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.
29For by Thee I run — a troop! And by my God I leap a wall.
29നിന്നാല് ഞാന് പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താല് ഞാന് മതില് ചാടിക്കടക്കും.
30God! perfect [is] His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield [is] He to all those trusting in Him.
30ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവര്ക്കും അവന് പരിചയാകുന്നു.
31For who [is] God besides Jehovah? And who [is] a rock save our God?
31യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറയാരുള്ളു?
32God! who is girding me [with] strength, And He maketh perfect my way.
32എന്നെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അരമുറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ വഴി കുറവുതീര്ക്കുംകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ.
33Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand.
33അവന് എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാന് പേടക്കാലക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി, എന്റെ ഗിരികളില് എന്നെ നിലക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.
34Teaching my hands for battle, And a bow of brass was brought down by my arms.
34അവന് എന്റെ കൈകള്ക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങള് താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.
35And Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy right hand doth support me, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.
35നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങി നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
36Thou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.
36ഞാന് കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലതവരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികള് വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.
37I pursue mine enemies, and overtake them, And turn back not till they are consumed.
37ഞാന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടര്ന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാന് പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.
38I smite them, and they are not able to rise, They fall under my feet,
38അവര്ക്കും എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാന് അവരെ തകര്ത്തു; അവര് എന്റെ കാല്കീഴില് വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
39And Thou girdest me [with] strength for battle, Causest my withstanders to bow under me.
39യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
40As to mine enemies — Thou hast given to me the neck, As to those hating me — I cut them off.
40എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന് സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറംകാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.
41They cry, and there is no saviour, On Jehovah, and He doth not answer them.
41അവര് നിലവിളിച്ചു; രക്ഷിപ്പാന് ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവന് ഉത്തരമരുളിയതുമില്ല.
42And I beat them as dust before wind, As mire of the streets I empty them out.
42ഞാന് അവരെ കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു; വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാന് അവരെ കോരിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
43Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of the people, Thou placest me for a head of nations, A people I have not known do serve me.
43ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളില്നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികള്ക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാന് അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.
44At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me, Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me,
44അവര് കേള്ക്കുമ്പോള് തന്നേ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാര് എന്നോടു അനുസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും.
45Sons of a stranger fade away, And are slain out of their close places.
45അന്യജാതിക്കാര് ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുര്ഗ്ഗങ്ങളില്നിന്നു അവര് വിറെച്ചും കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.
46Jehovah liveth — and blessed [is] my rock, And exalted is the God of my salvation.
46യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവന് ; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം ഉന്നതന് തന്നേ.
47God — who is giving vengeance to me, And He subdueth peoples under me,
47ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
48My deliverer from mine enemies, Above my withstanders Thou raisest me, From a man of violence dost deliver me.
48അവന് ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിര്ക്കുംന്നവര്ക്കും മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യില് നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
49Therefore I confess Thee among nations, O Jehovah, And to Thy name I sing praise,
49അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേ, ഞാന് ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാന് കീര്ത്തിക്കും.
50Magnifying the salvation of His king, And doing kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed — unto the age!
50അവന് തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നലകുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.
