1And they bring in the ark of God, and set it up in the midst of the tent that David hath stretched out for it, and they bring near burnt-offerings and peace-offerings before God;
1लेवींनी करारकोश आत आणून दावीदाने उभाररलेल्या तंबूमध्ये तो ठेवला. मग त्यांनी देवाला होमार्पणे आणि शांती अर्पणे वाहिली.
2and David ceaseth from offering the burnt-offering and the peace-offerings, and blesseth the people in the name of Jehovah,
2हे झाल्यावर दावीदाने परमेश्वराच्या नावाने लोकांना आशीर्वाद दिला.
3and giveth a portion to every man of Israel, both man and woman: to each a cake of bread, and a measure of wine, and a grape-cake.
3मग त्याने एकूनएक इस्राएल स्त्री-पुरुषांना एकएक भाकर, खजूर आणि किसमिस एवढे दिले.
4And he putteth before the ark of Jehovah, of the Levites, ministers, even to make mention of, and to thank, and to give praise to Jehovah, God of Israel,
4दावीदाने मग काही लेवींची करार कोशाच्या सेवेसाठी निवड केली. इस्राएलच्या परमेश्वर देवाचे गुणगान गाणे, त्याचे आभार मानणे, स्तुती करणे हे त्यांचे काम होते.
5Asaph the head, and his second Zechariah; Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, with instruments of psalteries, and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals is sounding;
5आसाफ हा पहिल्या गाटाचा मुख्य होता. त्याचा गट झांजा वाजवीत असे. जखऱ्या दुसऱ्या गाटाचा प्रमुख होता. इतर लेवी पुढीलप्रमाणे: उज्जियेल, शमिरामोथ, यहिएल, मत्तिथ्या, अलीयाब, बनाया, ओबेद-अदोम, आणि ईयेल. हे सतारी आणि वीणा वाजवत असत
6and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests [are] with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.
6बनाया आणि याहजिएल हे याजक नेहमी करार कोशापुढे रणशिंगे वाजवत.
7On that day then hath David given at the beginning to give thanks to Jehovah by the hand of Asaph and his brethren: —

8Give thanks to Jehovah, call in His name, Make known among the peoples His doings.
8परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करा. त्याला हाक मारा. परमेश्वराने केलेली महान कृत्ये लोकांना सांगा.
9Sing ye to Him, sing psalms to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
9परमेश्वराची स्तोत्रे गा. त्यांचे स्तवन म्हणा. त्याचे चमत्कार इतरांना सांगा.
10Boast yourselves in His holy name, Rejoice doth the heart of those seeking Jehovah.
10परमेश्वराच्या पवित्र नावाचा अभिमान धरा. परमेश्वराकडे येणाऱ्या तुम्हा सर्वांना आनंद मिळो.
11Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek His face continually.
11परमेश्वराकडे पाहा त्याचे सामर्थ्य बघा. मदतीसाठी त्याला शरण जा.
12Remember His wonders that He did, His signs, and the judgments of His mouth,
12देवाच्या अद्भूत कृत्यांची आठवण ठेवा. त्याने केलेले न्याय आणि चमत्कारची कृत्ये यांचे स्मरण करा.
13O seed of Israel, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
13इस्राएलचे लोक परमेश्वराचे सेवक आहेत. याकोबाचे वंशज हे परमेश्वराने निवडलेले खास लोक आहेत.
14He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
14परमेश्वर आमचा देव आहे. त्याच्या सामर्थ्याची साक्ष सर्वत्र आहे.
15Remember ye to the age His covenant, The word He commanded — To a thousand generations,
15त्याच्या कराराचे स्मरण असू द्या. त्याने दिलेल्या आज्ञा पुढील हजारो पिढ्यांसाठी आहेत.
16Which He hath made with Abraham, And His oath — to Isaac,
16परमेश्वराने अब्राहामाशी केलेल्या कराराची आठवण ठेवा. इसहाकाला त्याने दिलेल्या वचनाची आठवण असू द्या.
17And He establisheth it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel — a covenant age-during.
17याकोबासाठी परमेश्वराने तोच नियम केला. इस्राएलशी त्याने तसाच निरंतर करार केला.
18Saying: To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,
18इस्राएलला परमेश्वर म्हणाला, “मी तुम्हाला कनानचा प्रदेश देईन. ते वतन तुमचे असेल.”
19When ye are few of number, As a little thing, and sojourners in it.
19त्यावेळी तुम्ही संख्येने अगदी थोडे होता, परक्या प्रदेशात उपरे होता.
20And they go up and down, From nation unto nation, And from a kingdom unto another people.
20तुम्ही एका प्रदेशातून दुसऱ्या प्रदेशात भटकत होता. एका राज्यातून दुसऱ्या राज्यात जात होता.
21He hath not suffered any to oppress them, And reproveth on their account kings:
21पण परमेश्वराने कोणाकडूनही त्यांना दु:ख होऊ दिले नाही. परमेश्वराने राजांना तशी ताकीद दिली.
22Come not against Mine anointed ones, And against My prophets do not evil.
22परमेश्वराने या राजांना सांगितले, “मर्जीतील लोकांना दुखवू नका. माझ्या संदेष्ट्यांना दुखवू नका.”
23Sing to Jehovah, all the earth, Proclaim from day unto day His salvation.
23पृथ्वीवरील समस्त लोकहो, परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करा. परमेश्वराने आपल्याला वाचवल्याची शुभवार्ता रोज सर्वांना सांगा.
24Rehearse among nations His glory, Among all the peoples His wonders.
24परमेश्वराच्या गौरवाची कृत्ये सर्व राष्ट्रांना कळवा तो किती अद्भूत आहे ते सर्वांना सांगा.
25For great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, And fearful He [is] above all gods.
25परमेश्वर थोर आहे. त्याची स्तुती केली पाजिजे इतर दैवतांपेक्षा परमेश्वराचा धाक अधिक आहे.
26For all gods of the peoples [are] nought, And Jehovah the heavens hath made.
26का बरे? कारण जगातले इतर सगळी दैवते म्हणजे नुसत्या क्षुद्र मूर्ती पण परमेश्वराने आकाश निर्माण केले.
27Honour and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and joy [are] in His place.
27परमेश्वराला महिमा आणि सन्मान आहे. देव तेजस्वी लखलखीत प्रकाशाप्रमाणे आहे.
28Ascribe to Jehovah, ye families of peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
28लोक हो, सहकुटुंब परमेश्वराच्या महिम्याची आणि सामर्थ्याची स्तुती करा.
29Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Lift up a present, and come before Him. Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness.
29त्याचे माहात्म्या गा. त्याच्या नावाचा आदर करा. त्याच्यापुढे आपली अर्पणे आणा. त्याची आराधना करा आणि त्याच्या सात्विक सौंदर्याचे गुणगान करा.
30Be pained before Him, all the earth:
30परमेश्वरासमोर सर्व पृथ्वीचा भीतीने थरकाप होतो पण त्याने पृथ्वीला खंबीरपणा दिला. हे जग असे हलणार नाही.
31Also, established is the world, It is not moved! The heavens rejoice, and the earth is glad, And they say among nations: Jehovah hath reigned.
31पृथ्वी आणि आकाश आनंदी असो सर्वत्र लोक म्हणोत, “हे परमेश्वराचे साम्राज्य आहे.”
32Roar doth the sea, and its fulness, Exult doth the field, and all that [is] in it,
32समुद्र आणि त्यात सामावलेले सर्व काही आनंदाने गर्जना करो शेतमळ्यांची सृष्टी उल्हासित होवो.
33Then sing do trees of the forest, From the presence of Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth!
33अरण्यातील वृक्ष परमेश्वरासमोर हर्षभरित होऊन गातील कारण साक्षात परमेश्वरच जगाला न्याय देण्यासाठी आलेला असेल.
34Give thanks to Jehovah, for good, For to the age, [is] His kindness,
34लोक हो, परमेश्वराचे कृतज्ञतेने स्मरण करा, कारण तो चांगला आहे. त्याचे प्रेम चिरंतन आहे.
35And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, And gather us, and deliver us from the nations, To give thanks to Thy holy name, To triumph in Thy praise.
35परमेश्वराला सांगा, “देवा, तूच आमचा त्राता आहेस. आमचे रक्षण कर, आम्हाला संघटित ठेव आणि इतर राष्ट्रांपासून आमचा बचाव कर. मग आम्ही तुझे नामसंकीर्तन करु. तुझा माहिमा गाऊ.”
36Blessed [is] Jehovah, God of Israel, From the age and unto the age;` And all the people say, `Amen,` and have given praise to Jehovah.
36इस्राएलच्या परमेश्वर देवाचे अनादी काळापासून स्तवन केले जाते. त्याची स्तुतिस्तोत्रे अखंड गायिली जावोत. सर्व लोकांनी ‘आमेन’ म्हणून परमेश्वराचे स्तवन केले.
37And he leaveth there before the ark of the covenant of Jehovah, for Asaph and for his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, according to the matter of a day in its day,
37आसाफ आणि त्याचे भाऊबंद यांना करार कोशाच्या नित्य दैनंदिन सेवेसाठी दावीदाने नेमले.
38both Obed-Edom and their brethren, sixty and eight, and Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, and Hosah for gatekeepers,
38त्या कामात त्यांना मदत करण्यासाठी दावीदाने ओबेद-अदोम आणि आणखी 68 लेवी यांना ठेवले. ओबेद-अदोम आणि होसा हे द्वाररक्षक होते. ओबेद - अदोम यदूथूनचा मुलगा.
39and Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of Jehovah, in a high place that [is] in Gibeon,
39सादोक हा याजक आणि त्याच्याबरोबरचे इतर याजक यांना दावीदाने गिबोन येथील उच्च स्थानी असलेल्या परमेश्वराच्या निवासमंडपासमोर नेमले.
40to cause to ascend burnt-offerings to Jehovah, on the altar of burnt-offering continually, morning and evening, and for all that is written in the law of Jehovah, that He charged on Israel.
40दररोज सकाळी आणि संध्याकाळी सादोक आणि इतर याजक होमार्पणासाठी असलेल्या वेदीवर होमार्पणे करत असत. परमेश्वराने इस्राएलला जे नियमशास्त्र दिले होते त्यातील नियमांचे पालन करण्यासाठी ते असे करत होते.
41And with them [are] Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen, who were defined by name, to give thanks to Jehovah, for to the age [is] His kindness,
41परमेश्वराची कृपा निरंतर राहावी म्हणून त्याचे स्तुतिस्तोत्र गाण्यासाठी हेमान, यदूथून व इतर लेवी यांची नेमणूक केली.
42and with them — Heman and Jeduthun — [are] trumpets and cymbals for those sounding, and instruments of the song of God, and the sons of Jeduthun [are] at the gate.
42हेमान आणि यदूथून यांना झांजा वाजवणे व कर्णे फुंकणे हे काम होते. देवाची स्तुतिगीत गाईली जात असताना इतर वाद्ये वाजवण्याचेही काम त्यांच्याकडे होते. यदूथूनचे मुलगे द्वाररक्षक होते.
43And all the people go, each to his house, and David turneth round to bless his house.
43हा कार्यक्रम संपल्यावर सर्व लोक घरोघरी गेले. दावीदही आपल्या घराण्याला आशीर्वाद द्यायला घरी परतला.
