1And lift me up doth a spirit, and it bringeth me in unto the east gate of the house of Jehovah, that is facing the east, and lo, at the opening of the gate twenty and five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.
1मग वाऱ्याने मला परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराच्या पूर्व-द्वाराजवळ नेले. ह्या दाराचे तोंड उगवतीला होते. त्या प्रवेशद्वाराच्या तोंडाशी मी पंचवीस लोकांना पाहिले. त्यांत अज्जूरचा मुलगा याजन्या आणि बनायाचा मुलगा पलट्या हेही होते. हे लोकांचे नेते होते.
2And He saith unto me, `Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;
2मग देव मला म्हणाला, “मानवपुत्रा, ह्या नगरीत दुष्ट बेत करणारे लोक हेच होत. हे लोक इतर लोकांना वाईट गोष्टी करायला सांगतात.
3who are saying, It [is] not near — to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we the flesh.
3ते म्हणतात, ‘आपण आपली घरे पुन्हा लवकरच बांधू. भांड्यातील मांसाप्रमाणे आपण येथे सुरक्षित आहोत.’
4Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.`
4ते खोटे बोलत आहेत. म्हणून तू माझ्यावतीने लोकांशी बोल. “मानवपुत्रा, लोकांना संदेश सांग.”
5And fall upon me doth the Spirit of Jehovah, and He saith unto me, `Say: Thus said Jehovah: Rightly ye have said, O house of Israel, And the steps of your spirit I have known.
5मग परमेश्वराचा आत्मा माझ्यात उतरला. तो मला म्हणाला, “ह्या गोष्टी मी सांगितल्या आहेत असे त्यांना सांग. इस्राएलच्या कुटुंबियांनो, तुम्ही फार मोठे बेत करीत आहात. पण तुमच्या मनांत काय आहे ते मी जाणतो.
6Ye multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded.
6ह्या नगरीत तुम्ही पुष्कळांना ठार केले, रस्ते प्रेतांनी झाकून टाकले.
7Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Your wounded whom ye placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And you he hath brought out from its midst.
7आता परमेश्वर, आपला प्रभू पुढील गोष्टी सांगतो: ‘ती प्रेते म्हणजे मांस व नगरी म्हणजे भांडे आहे. तो (नबुखद्नेस्सर) येईल आणि ह्या सुरक्षित भांड्यातून तुम्हाला बाहेर काढील.
8A sword ye have feared, And a sword I bring in against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
8तुम्ही तलवारीला घाबरता. पण मी तलवारीलाच तुमच्यावर आणीत आहे.” परमेश्वराने, आमच्या प्रभूने, ह्या गोष्टी सांगितल्या. मग त्या घडतीलच.
9And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done among you judgments.
9देव असेही म्हणाला, “मी तुम्हा लोकांना या नगरीतून बाहेर काढीन, व परक्यांच्या हाती देईन. मी तुम्हाला शिक्षा करीन.
10By the sword ye do fall, On the border of Israel I do judge you, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
10तुम्ही तलवारीने मराल. मी तुम्हाला इस्राएलमध्येच शिक्षा करीन. म्हणजे तुम्हाला कळेल की शिक्षा करणारा मीच एक आहे. मीच परमेश्वर आहे.
11It is not to you for a pot, Nor are ye in its midst for flesh, At the border of Israel I do judge you.
11हो! ही जागा म्हणजे अन्न शिजविण्याचे भांडे होईल. त्यातील मांस तुम्ही असाल. मी तुम्हाला इस्राएलमध्येच शिक्षा करीन.
12And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah, For in My statutes ye have not walked, And My Judgments ye have not done, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are round about you — ye have done!`
12मगच तुम्हाला ‘मी परमेश्वर आहे’ हे कळेल. तुम्ही मोडलात तो माझा कायदा होता. तुम्ही माझ्या आज्ञा पाळल्या नाहीत. तुम्ही तुमच्या आजूबाजूला असलेल्या राष्ट्राप्रमाणे जगण्याचे ठरविले.”
13And it cometh to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry — a loud voice — and say, `Ah, Lord Jehovah, an end Thou art making of the remnant of Israel.`
13मी भविष्यावाणी संपवताच बनायाचा मुलगा पलट्या मेला. मी जमिनीवर पडलो. डोके टेकवून मी मोठ्याने ओरडलो, “हे परमेश्वरा, माझ्या प्रभु, तू इस्राएलच्या अवशेषाचा पूर्ण विध्वंस करणार आहेस!”
14And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
14पण मला परमेश्वराचे शब्द ऐकू आले. तो म्हणाला,
15`Son of man, thy brethren, thy brethren, men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel — all of it, [are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from Jehovah;
15“मानवपुत्रा, हा देश ज्यांना सक्तीने सोडावा लागला त्या इस्राएलच्या कुटुंबीयांचे, तुझ्या भाऊबंदाचे स्मरण कर. ते येथून दूर असलेल्या देशात राहतात. पण मी त्यांना परत आणीन. पण यरुशलेममध्ये राहणारे लोक म्हणतात, ‘परमेश्वरापासून दूर राहा ही भूमी आम्हाला दिलेली आहे ती आमची आहे.’
16it [is] ours, the land hath been given for an inheritance; therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because I put them afar off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I also am to them for a little sanctuary, In lands whither they have gone in.
16“म्हणून त्या लोकांना पुढील गोष्टी सांग; परमेश्वर, आमचा प्रभू, म्हणतो, ‘मी माझ्या लोकांना दूरच्या देशांत सक्तीने घालविले, हे खरे आहे. मी त्यांना पुष्कळ देशांत विखुरले, त्या देशांतील मुक्कामाच्या अल्पकाळात मीच त्यांचे मंदिर होईन.”
17Therefore say: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which ye have been scattered, And I have given to you the ground of Israel.
17म्हणून, परमेश्वर, त्यांचा प्रभू, त्यांना परत आणेल हे तू त्याना सांगितले पाहिजे. मी तुम्हाला इतर राष्ट्रांत विखुरले पण तुम्हाला एकत्र करीन आणि परत आणीन. इस्राएलची भूमी मी तुम्हाला परत देईन.
18And they have gone in thither. And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations — out of it.
18आणि जेव्हा माझे लोक परत येतील, तेव्हा ते इथे असलेल्या त्या सर्व भयंकर घाणेरड्या मूर्तीचा नाश करतील.
19And I have given to them one heart, And a new spirit I do give in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given to them a heart of flesh.
19“ते सर्वजण एकच व्यक्ती असल्याप्रमाणे, मी त्यांच्यात ऐक्य निर्माण करीन. मी त्यांच्यात नवीन आत्मा ओतीन. त्यांचे दगडाचे ह्दय काढून घेऊन तिथे मी खरे ह्दय बसवीन.
20So that in My statutes they walk, And My judgments they keep, and have done them, And they have been to me for a people, And I am to them for God.
20मग ते माझे नियम पाळतील, माझ्या आज्ञांचे पालन करतील. मी सांगतो, त्याच गोष्टी ते करतील. ते खऱ्या अर्थाने माझी माणसे होतील व मी त्यांचा देव होईन.”‘
21As to those whose heart is going unto the heart Of their detestable and their abominable things, Their way on their head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.`
21मग देव पुढे म्हणाला, “पण सध्या, त्यांचे मन त्या भयानक, गलिच्छ मूर्तींचेच झाले आहे. त्यांच्या दुष्कृत्यांबद्दल शिक्षा केलीच पाहिजे.” परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, असे म्हणाला,
22And the cherubs lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] over-against them, and the honour of the God of Israel [is] over them above.
22ह्यानंतर करुब दूतांनी पंख पसरले व ते हवेत उडाले. चाकेही त्यांच्याबरोबर गेली. इस्राएलच्या देवाची प्रभा त्यांच्यावर होती.
23And the honour of Jehovah goeth up from off the midst of the city, and standeth on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city.
23परमेश्वराची प्रभा वर गेली व तिने यरुशलेम सोडले. ती क्षणभरच यरुशलेमच्या पूर्वेकडच्या टेकडीवर थांबली.
24And a spirit hath lifted me up, and bringeth me in to Chaldea, unto the Removed, in a vision, by the Spirit of God, and go up from off me doth the vision that I have seen;
24मग वाऱ्याने मला उचलून परत बाबेलला खास्द्यांच्या देशात आणले. इस्राएलच्या ज्या लोकांना बळजबीने इस्राएल सोडावे लागले होते, त्यांच्यात त्याने मला आणले, मग, दुष्टान्तामध्येच, देवाच्या चैतन्याने मला सोडले व ते हवेत उंच गेले. मी हे सर्व दृष्टान्तात पाहिले.
25and I speak unto the Removed all the matters of Jehovah that He hath shewed me.
25मी परागंदा झालेल्या लोकांशी बोललो. परमेश्वराने मला दाखाविलेल्या सर्व गोष्टी मी त्यांना संगितल्या.
