1And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
1त्यानंतर परमेश्वराचा संदेश मला मिळाला. तो म्हणाला,
2`Son of man, prophesy concerning the prophets of Israel who are prophesying, and thou hast said to those prophesying from their own heart: Hear ye a word of Jehovah:
2“मानवपुत्रा, माझ्यावतीने इस्राएलच्या संदेष्ट्यांशी बोल. ते संदेष्टे खरे म्हणजे माझ्यावतीने बोलत नसून त्यांना पाहिजे ते सांगतात म्हणून तू त्यांच्याशी बोल. त्यांना पुढील गोष्टी सांग. ‘परमेश्वराकडून आलेला हा संदेश ऐका.
3Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo unto the prophets who are foolish, Who are going after their own spirit, And they have seen nothing.
3परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, असे म्हणतो की दुष्ट संदेष्ट्यांनो, तुमचे वाईट होईल. तुम्ही दृष्टान्तांत पाहिलेल्या गोष्टी लोकांना न सांगता, तुमच्या मनाचेच सांगता.
4As foxes in the wastes, Thy prophets, O Israel, have been.
4“इस्राएल, ओसाड, पडक्या वास्तूंतून धावणाऱ्या कोल्ह्यांप्रमाणे तुझे संदेष्टे असतील.
5Ye have not gone up into breaches, Nor do ye make a fence for the house of Israel, To stand in battle in a day of Jehovah.
5नगरीच्या तटबंदीच्या भगदाडांजवळ तू सैनिक ठेवले नाहीस वा इस्राएलवासीयांच्या रक्षणासाठी भिंतही बांधली नाहीस. तेव्हा परमेश्वराने तुला शिक्षा करायची वेळ येताच, तू युद्धात हरशील.
6They have seen vanity, and lying divination, Who are saying: An affirmation of Jehovah, And Jehovah hath not sent them, And they have hoped to establish a word.
6“खोट्या संदेष्ट्यांनी दृष्टान्त पाहिल्याचे सांगितले. ते जादू करतात आणि भविष्यात घडणाऱ्या गोष्टी सांगतात. पण ते खोटे बोलतात. त्यांना परमेश्वराने पाठविल्याचे ते सांगतात. पण ते खोटे आहे. खोटे खरे ठरावे म्हणून ते अजूनही वाट पाहत आहेत.
7A vain vision have ye not seen, And a lying divination spoken, When ye say: An affirmation of Jehovah, And I have not spoken?
7“खोट्या संदेष्ट्यांनो, तुम्ही पाहिलेले दुष्टान्त खरे नाहीत. तुम्ही जादू केली व असे घडेल म्हणून सांगितले. पण तुम्ही खोटे बोललात, परमेश्वराने असे सांगितले असे तुम्ही म्हणालात. पण मी तुमच्याशी बोललोच नाही.”
8Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen a lie, Therefore, lo, I [am] against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
8पण आता परमेश्वर, माझ्या प्रभु, खरोखरच बोलेल. तो म्हणतो, “तुम्ही खोट्या गोष्टी सांगितल्या, तुम्ही खोटे दुष्टान्त पाहिले. म्हणून मी (देव) तुमच्याविरुद्ध आहे.” परमेश्वराने, माझ्या प्रभूने, असे म्हटले.
9And My hand hath been on the prophets, Who are seeing vanity, and who are divining a lie, In the assembly of My people they are not, And in the writing of the house of Israel they are not written, And unto the ground of Israel they come not, And ye have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.
9परमेश्वर म्हणतो, “खोटे दृष्टान्त पाहणाऱ्या आणि खोटे बोलणाऱ्या संदेष्ट्यांना मी शिक्षा करीन. माझ्या लोकांतून मी त्यांना बाजूला काढीन. इस्राएलच्या वंशजांच्या नामावळीत त्यांची नावे असणार नाहीत. ते इस्राएलच्या भूमीत परत येणार नाहीत. मगच तुम्हाला मी परमेश्वर व प्रभू असल्याचे कळेल.
10Because, even because, they did cause My people to err, Saying, Peace! and there is no peace, And that one is building a wall, And lo, they are daubing it with chalk.
10“ते खोटे संदेष्टे पुन्हा पुन्हा माझ्या लोकांशी खोटे बोलले. त्यांनी ‘शांती प्रस्थापित होईल.’ असे सांगितले. पण तेथे शांती नाही. भिंतीची चांगली दुरुस्ती करुन लोकांनी लढायला सज्ज होण्याची जरुरी आहे. पण त्याऐवजी लोक भिंतीना फक्त गिलावा करतात.
11Say to those daubing with chalk — It falleth, There hath been an overflowing shower, And ye, O hailstones, do fall, And a tempestuous wind doth rend,
11मी त्यांच्यावर गारांचा वर्षांव करीन आणि मुसळधार पाऊस (शत्रू - सैन्य) पाडीन, असे तू त्यांना सांग. जोराचे वारे वाहतील आणि तुफान येईल. मग तटबंदी पडेल.
12And lo, fallen hath the wall! Doth not one say unto you, Where [is] the daubing that ye daubed?
12भिंत पडेल आणि लोक संदेष्ट्यांना विचारतील ‘तुम्ही गिलावा केला होता, त्याचे काय झाले?”
13Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I have rent with a tempestuous wind in My fury, And an overflowing shower is in Mine anger, And hailstones in My fury — to consume.
13परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, म्हणतो, “मी तुमच्यावर रागावलो आहे म्हणून मी वादळ उत्पन्न करीन, मुसळधार पाऊस पाडीन, गारांचा वर्षाव करीन आणि तुमचा संपूर्ण नाश करीन.
14And I have broken down the wall that ye daubed with chalk, And have caused it to come unto the earth, And revealed hath been its foundation, And it hath fallen, And ye have been consumed in its midst, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
14तुम्ही भिंतीला गिलावा करता. पण संपूर्ण तटबंदीच मी उद्ध्वस्त करीन. ती मी जमीनदोस्त करीन. ती तुमच्या अंगावर पडेल आणि मग तुम्हाला कळून चुकेल की मीच परमेश्वर आहे.
15And I have completed My wrath on the wall, And on those daubing it with chalk, And I say to you: The wall is not, And those daubing it are not;
15मी माझा सगळा राग त्या तटबंदीवर व तिच्यावर गिलावा देणाऱ्या लोकांवर ओतून टाकीन. मग मी म्हणेन ‘आता भिंतही नाही आणि तिच्यावर गिलावा करणारेही राहिले नाहीत.’
16The prophets of Israel who are prophesying concerning Jerusalem, And who are seeing for her a vision of peace, And there is no peace, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
16“ह्या सर्व गोष्टी इस्राएलच्या खोट्या संदेष्ट्यांबाबत घडतील. ते यरुशलेमच्या लोकांशी बोलतात. ते शांतीचे भाकीत करतात. पण शांती मिळत नाही.” परमेश्वराने, माझ्या प्रभुने, हे सांगितले.
17And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who are prophesying out of their own heart, and prophesy concerning them,
17देव म्हणाला, “मानवपुत्रा, इस्राएल मधील स्त्री संदेष्ट्यांकडे पाहा. त्या माझ्यावतीने बोलत नाहीत. त्या त्यांच्या मनाचेच सांगतात. म्हणून तू माझ्यावतीने त्यांच्याविरुद्ध बोल. तू त्यांना पुढील गोष्टी सांगितल्या पाहिजेस.
18And thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Wo to those sowing pillows for all joints of the arm, And to those making the kerchiefs For the head of every stature — to hunt souls, The souls do ye hunt of My people? And the souls ye have do ye keep alive?
18“परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू, ह्या गोष्टी सांगतो. स्त्रियांनो, तुमचे वाईट होईल. तुम्ही कापडाच्या पटृ्या करुन लोकांना बांगड्यांप्रमाणे घालायला देता, डोक्याला बांधण्यासाठीही विशेष प्रकारचे पट्टे करुन देता. तुम्ही लोकांना सांगता की ह्या गोष्टीमध्ये तुमच्या आयुष्याचे नियंत्रण करण्याची जादूची शक्ती आहे. स्वत:ला जगविण्यासाठी तुम्ही लोकांना अशा रीतीने जाळ्यात पकडता!
19Yea, ye pierce Me concerning My people, For handfuls of barley, And for pieces of bread, to put to death Souls that should not die, And to keep alive souls that should not live, By your lying to My people — hearkening to lies.
19तुम्ही मला लोकांच्यापुढे क्षुद्र बनविता. तुम्ही ओंजळभर सातू व भाकरीच्या काही तुकड्यांसाठी त्यांना माझ्याविरुद्ध फिरविता. माझ्या लोकांशी तुम्ही खोटे बोलता. त्या लोकांना खोटे आवडते. तुम्ही ज्यांनी जगायला पाहिजे त्यांना मारता आणि ज्यांनी मरायला पाहिजे, त्यांना जगविता.
20Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against your pillows, With which ye are hunting there the souls of the flourishing, And I have rent them from off your arms, And have sent away the souls that ye are hunting, The souls of the flourishing.
20म्हणून परमेश्वर, प्रभू, तुम्हाला पुढील गोष्टी सांगतो, तुम्ही बांगड्यासारखे कापडी पट्टे करुन लोकांना सापळ्यात पकडू बघता पण मी त्यांना मुक्त करीन. तुमच्या हातातील ते कापडी पट्टे मी फाडून टाकीन, म्हणजे ते लोक पिंजऱ्यातून सोडून दिलेल्या पाखराप्रमाणे स्वतंत्र होतील.
21And I have torn your kerchiefs, And delivered My people out of your hand, And they are no more in your hand for a prey, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.
21“मी डोक्याला बांधायचे पट्टे तोडीन आणि माझ्या माणसांना तुमच्या पकडीतून सोडवीन. तुमच्या सापळ्यातून ते निसटतील आणि मगच तुम्हाला कळेल की मी परमेश्वर आहे.
22Because of paining the heart of the righteous with falsehood, And I have not pained it, And strengthening the hands of the wicked, So as not to turn back from his evil way, To keep him alive,
22“तुमचे संदेष्टे खोट्या गोष्टी सांगतात. सज्जनांना त्याचा त्रास होतो. मला हे पंसत नाही. तुम्ही वाईट लोकांना पठिंबा देता, त्यांना उत्तेजन देता. त्यांना त्यांचे मार्ग बदलायला सांगत नाही. त्यांचे जीव वाचवायचा प्रयत्न करीत नाही.
23Therefore, vanity ye do not see, And divination ye do not divine again, And I have delivered My people out of your hand, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah!`
23तेव्हा ह्यापुढे तुम्हाला तुमचे निरर्थक दृष्टान्त दिसणे बंद होईल तुम्ही जादूही करणार नाही. तुमच्यापासून मी माझ्या लोकांचे रक्षण करीन. मग तुम्हाला कळेल की मीच खरा परमेश्वर आहे.”
