1Also, at this my heart trembleth, And it moveth from its place.
1“गडगडाट व वीजा ह्यांची मला भिती वाटते. तेव्हा माझ्या ह्दयाची धडथड वाढते.
2Hearken diligently to the trembling of His voice, Yea, the sound from His mouth goeth forth.
2प्रत्येक जण लक्षपूर्वक ऐका! देवाचा आवाज गडगडाटासारखा वाटतो. देवाच्या मुखातून येणारा गडगडाटासारखा आवाज ऐका.
3Under the whole heavens He directeth it, And its light [is] over the skirts of the earth.
3देव त्याच्या विजेला सर्व आकाशात चमकण्यासाठी पाठवतो. ती सर्व पृथ्वीभर चमकते.
4After it roar doth a voice — He thundereth with the voice of His excellency, And He doth not hold them back, When His voice is heard.
4वीज चमकते तेव्हा देव गडगडाटी आवाज काढतो. देव त्याच्या अद्भुत आवाजात गर्जतो. वीज चमकल्यानंतर देवाची गर्जना ऐकू येते.
5God thundereth with His voice wonderfully, Doing great things and we know not.
5“देवाचा गडगडाटी आवाज अद्भुत आहे. देव आपल्याला न काळणाऱ्या महान गोष्टी करत असतो.
6For to snow He saith, `Be [on] the earth.` And the small rain and great rain of His power.
6देव ‘हिमाला पृथ्वीवर पडण्याची आज्ञा करतो.’ देव ‘पावसाला पृथ्वीवर जोरात पड असे सांगतो.’
7Into the hand of every man he sealeth, For the knowledge by all men of His work.
7देवाने निर्माण केलेल्या सर्व लोकांना तो काय करु शकतो हे कळावे म्हणून देव या गोष्टी करतो हा त्याचा पुरावा आहे.
8And enter doth the beast into covert, And in its habitations it doth continue.
8पशू त्यांच्या घरकुलात जातात आणि तेथेच राहतात.
9From the inner chamber cometh a hurricane, And from scatterings winds — cold,
9दक्षिणेकडून चक्रीवादळ येते. उत्तरेकडून थंड वारे येतात.
10From the breath of God is frost given, And the breadth of waters is straitened,
10देवाच्या नि:श्वासाने बर्फ होते आणि समुद्र गोठतो.
11Yea, by filling He doth press out a cloud, Scatter a cloud doth His light.
11देव ढगांना पाण्याने भरतो आणि तो ते पसरवतो.
12And it is turning itself round by His counsels, For their doing all He commandeth them, On the face of the habitable earth.
12तो ढगांना सर्व पृथ्वीभर पसरण्याची आज्ञा करतो. देव जी आज्ञा देती ती ढग पाळतात.
13Whether for a rod, or for His land, Or for kindness — He doth cause it to come.
13देव लोकांना शिक्षा करण्यासाठी ढग आणतो, पूर आणतो किंवा त्याचे प्रेम व्यक्त करण्यासाठी पाणी आणतो.
14Hear this, O Job, Stand and consider the wonders of God.
14“ईयोब, एक क्षणभर थांब आणि लक्ष दे. थांब आणि देव ज्या अद्भुत गोष्टी करतो त्यांचा विचार कर.
15Dost thou know when God doth place them, And caused to shine the light of His cloud?
15ईयोब, देव ढगांवर आपला अधिकार कसा गाजवतो ते तुला माहीत आहे का? तो विजेला कसे चमकावितो ते तुला माहीत आहे का?
16Dost thou know the balancings of a cloud? The wonders of the Perfect in knowledge?
16ढग आकाशात कसे तरंगतात ते तुला कळते का? देव ज्या अद्भुत गोष्टी करतो त्याचे ढग हे केवळ एक उदाहरण आहे. आणि देवाला त्याबद्दल सारे माहीत आहे.
17How thy garments [are] warm, In the quieting of the earth from the south?
17परंतु ईयोब तुला या गोष्टी माहीत नाहीत. तुला फक्त एवढेच माहीत आहे की दक्षिणेकडून गरम वारे वाहतात तेव्हा तुला घाम येतो, तुझे कपडे अंगाला चिकटतात आणि सगळे काही स्तब्ध असते.
18Thou hast made an expanse with Him For the clouds — strong as a hard mirror!
18ईयोब, तू देवाला आकाश पसरवण्यात आणि ते आरशाप्रमाणे करण्यात मदत करु शकशील का?
19Let us know what we say to Him, We set not in array because of darkness.
19“ईयोब, देवाला आम्ही काय सांगायचे ते तू आम्हांला सांग. काय बोलावे ते आम्हाला कळत नाही कारण आम्हाला जास्त माहिती नाही.
20Is it declared to Him that I speak? If a man hath spoken, surely he is swallowed up.
20मला देवाशी बोलायचे आहे असे मी म्हणणार नाही. तसे म्हणणे म्हणजे स्वत:चा नाश करुन घेणे आहे.
21And now, they have not seen the light, Bright it [is] in the clouds, And the wind hath passed by and cleanseth them.
21माणूस सूर्याकडे बघू शकत नाही. वाऱ्याने ढग पळवून लावले की तो फार तेजस्वी आणि चकचकीत दिसतो.
22From the golden north it cometh, Beside God [is] fearful honour.
22आणि देवसुध्दा तसाच आहे. देवाची सुवर्णप्रभा दक्षिणेकडील पर्वतावरुन चमकते. देवाच्या भोवती तेजोवलय असते.
23The Mighty! we have not found Him out, High in power and judgment, He doth not answer! And abundant in righteousness,
23तो सर्वशक्तिमान देव महान आहे. आपण त्याला समजू शकत नाही. तो सामर्थ्यवान आहे. परंतु तो आपल्याशी चांगला आणि न्यायाने वागतो. देवाला आपल्याला त्रास द्यायची इच्छा नसते.
24Therefore do men fear Him, He seeth not any of the wise of heart.
24म्हणूनच लोक देवाला मान देतात. परंतु देव आपल्या शहाणपणाचा अभिमान बाळगणाऱ्या लोकांना मान देत नाही.”
