¹And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,

²`Make to thee two trumpets of silver; beaten work thou dost make them, and they have been to thee for the convocation of the company, and for the journeying of the camps;

²“चांदीचे दोन घडीव कर्णे बनव. लोकांना एकत्र जमविण्यासाठी आणि तळ कधी हलवावा हे सांगण्यासाठी त्यांचा उपयोग होईल.

³and they have blown with them, and all the company have met together unto thee, unto the opening of the tent of meeting.

³तू जर दोन्ही कर्णे बराच वेळपर्यंत वाजविले तर मग सर्व लोकांनी दर्शन मंडपासमोरील अंगणात जमावे.

⁴And if with one they blow, then have the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, met together unto thee;

⁴परंतु बराच वेळ एकच कर्णा वाजविला तर मग फकत इस्राएलांच्या बारा वंशाच्या प्रमुखांनीच तुला भेटावयास यावे.

⁵`And ye have blown — a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.

⁵“कर्ण्यांचा थोडा गजर झाला म्हणजे लोकांनी आपला तळ हलवावा हे सांगण्याचा तो एक मार्ग होईल. पहिल्याच वेळी जेव्हा तू कर्ण्याचा थोडा गजर करशील तेव्हा दर्शनमंडपाच्या पूर्वेकडील छावण्यातील वंशानी पुढे चालण्यास सुरवात करावी.

⁶`And ye have blown — a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; a shout they blow for their journeys.

⁶दुसऱ्या वेळी थोडाच वेळ तू कर्णा वाजवशील तेव्हा दक्षिणेकडील छावण्यातील वंशानी पुढे निघण्यास सुरवात करावी.

⁷`And in the assembling of the assembly ye blow, and do not shout;

⁷परंतु विशेष कारणासाठी मंडळी एकत्र जमावावयाची असेल तर कर्णे वेगळ्या प्रकारे म्हणजे एकाच सरळ सारख्याच सुरात वाजवावेत.

⁸and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been to you for a statute age-during to your generations.

⁸फकत अहरोनाच्या याजक असलेल्या मुलांनीच कर्णे वाजवावीत. तुम्हाला पिढ्यान्पिढ्याचा कायमचा विधीनियम आहे.

⁹`And when ye go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then ye have shouted with the trumpets, and ye have been remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye have been saved from your enemies.

⁹“जर तुम्ही तुमच्या देशातच शत्रूशी लढत असाल, तर त्यांच्याशी लढावयास जाण्यापूर्वी तुम्ही मोठमोठ्याने कर्णे वाजवावेत. परमेश्वर तुमचा कर्ण्यांचा आवाज ऐकेल आणि तो तुमच्या शत्रूपासून तुमचे रक्षण करील.

¹⁰`And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed seasons, and in the beginnings of your months, ye have blown also with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been to you for a memorial before your God; I, Jehovah, [am] your God.`

¹⁰तसेच तुम्ही सणाच्या व इतर आनंदाच्या प्रसंगी व नवीन चंद्राच्या दिवशी पौर्णिमेच्या दिवशी किंवा महिन्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी-तुमची होमार्पणे, शांत्यार्पणे वाहताना तुम्ही कर्णे वाजवावेत; तुमच्या परमेश्वराला तुमची आठवण करुन देण्याचा हा एक विशेष मार्गच आहे; हे तुम्ही करावे अशी मी तुम्हास आज्ञा देतो. मी तुमचा देव परमेश्वर आहे.”

¹¹And it cometh to pass — in the second year, in the second month, in the twentieth of the month — the cloud hath gone up from off the tabernacle of the testimony,

¹¹इस्राएल लोकांनी मिसर देश सोडल्यानंतर दुसऱ्या वर्षी दुसऱ्या महिन्याच्या विसाव्या दिवशी कराराचा कोश असलेल्या पवित्र निवास मंडपावरील ढग वर गेला.

¹²and the sons of Israel journey in their journeyings from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud doth tabernacle in the wilderness of Paran;

¹²तेव्हा इस्राएल लोकांनी आपला प्रवास सुरू केला. त्यांनी सीनायचे रान सोडले आणि ढग पारानाच्या रानात थांवेपर्यंत ते प्रवासकरीत गेले.

¹³and they journey at first, by the command of Jehovah, in the hand of Moses.

¹³छावणी हलवण्याची इस्राएल लोकांची ही पहिलीच वेळ होती. परमेश्वराने त्यांना मोशेकडून दिलेल्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे त्यांनी हे केले.

¹⁴And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeyeth in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.

¹⁴यहुदाच्या छावणीतील तीन गट पहिल्याने निघाले. त्यांच्या निशाणा मागे ते चालले. पहिला गट यहुदाच्या कुळाचा होता. अम्मीनादाबाचा मुलगा नहशोन त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

¹⁵And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.

¹⁵त्यानंतर इस्साखारचे कूळ निघाले. सुवाराचा मुलगा नथनेल त्यांचा नेता होता.

¹⁶And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon;

¹⁶आणि मग जबुलूनाचे कूळ निघाले. हेलोनाचा मुलगा अलीयाब त्यांचा नेता होता.

¹⁷And the tabernacle hath been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, bearing the tabernacle.

¹⁷मग पवित्र निवास मंडप उतरविण्यात आला आणि गेर्षोन व मरारी वंशाचे लोक पवित्र निवास मंडप घेऊन निघाले. तेव्हा ह्या वंशाचे लोक नंतरच्या रांगते होते.

¹⁸And the standard of the camp of Reuben hath journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.

¹⁸त्यानंतर रऊबेन वंशाच्या छावणीतील तीन गट निघाले. लोक त्यांच्या निशानामागे चालले होते. त्यातील पहिला गट रऊबेन कुळाचा होता. शदेयुराचा मुलगा अलीसूर त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

¹⁹And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

¹⁹त्यानंतर शिमोन कुळाचे लोक निघाले. सुरीशदैचा मुलगा शलूमीयेल हा त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²⁰And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel;

²⁰नंतर गाद वंशाच्या दलाचे लोक निघाले. रगुवेलाचा मुलगा एल्यासाप त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²¹And the Kohathites have journeyed, bearing the tabernacle, and the [others] have raised up the tabernacle until their coming in.

²¹मग कहाथी लोक पवित्र स्थानातील पवित्र वस्तू घेऊन निघाले. ते अशावेळी जाऊन पोहोंचले की त्यांच्या येण्याओगोदर इतर लोकांनी पवित्र निवास मंडप उभा करुन तयार ठेवला होता.

²²And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim hath journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.

²²त्यानंतर एफ्राइम वंशाच्या छावणीतील तीन गट निघाले. लोक त्यांच्या निशाणामागे चालले होते. त्यात पहिला गट एफ्राइम कुळाचा होता. अम्मीहूदाचा मुलगा अलीशामा त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²³And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.

²³त्यानंतर मनश्शे कुळाचे लोक निघाले. पदाहसुराचा मुलगा गमलीयेल त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²⁴And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.

²⁴मग बन्यामीन कुळाचे लोक निघाले. गिदोनीचा मुलगा अबीदान त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²⁵And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan hath journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

²⁵छावण्यांच्या रागेतील सर्वात शेवटची तीन दले दान वंशाची होती. ती पुढे गेलेल्या दलांचे संरक्षण करणारी पिछाडीची तुकडी होती. तिच्यात पहिले दान कुळाचे लोक होते. ते त्यांच्या निशाणामागे चालले होते. अम्मीशद्दैचा मुलगा अहीएजर त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²⁶And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.

²⁶त्यानंतर आशेर कुळाचे लोक निघाले. आक्रानाचा मुलगा पगीयेल त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²⁷And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.

²⁷मग नफताली कुळाचे लोक निघाले. एनानाचा मुलगा अहीरा त्यांचा सेनानायक होता.

²⁸These [are] journeyings of the sons of Israel by their hosts — and they journey.

²⁸इस्राएल लोक ठिक ठिकाणाहून प्रवास करिताना ह्या क्रमाने निघत.

²⁹And Moses saith to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, `We are journeying unto the place of which Jehovah hath said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to thee; for Jehovah hath spoken good concerning Israel.`

²⁹मोशेचा सासरा रगुवेल ह्याचा मुलगा होबाब ह्याला मोशे म्हणाला, “देवाने आम्हाला वचन दिलेल्या देशात आम्ही जात आहोत. तू आमच्याबरोबर चल. आम्ही तुझ्याशी चांगले वागू; इस्राएल लोकांना उत्तम गोष्टी देण्याचे परमेश्वराने वचन दिले आहे.”

³⁰And he saith unto him, `I do not go; but unto my land and unto my kindred do I go.`

³⁰परंतु होबाबाने उत्तर दिले, “नाही, मी तुमच्याबरोबर येणार नाही. मला माझ्या देशात व माझ्या लोकात परत गेले पाहिजे.”

³¹And he saith, `I pray thee, forsake us not, because thou hast known our encamping in the wilderness, and thou hast been to us for eyes;

³¹मग मोशे त्याला म्हणाला, “मी विनंती करितो की तू आम्हाला सोडून जाऊ नको; कारण ह्या रानाची आमच्यापेक्षा तुला अधिक माहिती आहे. तू आमचा वाटाड्या होऊ शकतोस.

³²and it hath come to pass when thou goest with us, yea, it hath come to pass — that good which Jehovah doth kindly with us — it we have done kindly to thee.`

³²तू आमच्याबरोबर येशील तर परमेश्वर आम्हाला ज्या ज्या चांगल्या गोष्टी देईल त्यात आम्ही तुला वाटा देऊ.”

³³And they journey from the mount of Jehovah a journey of three days; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah is journeying before them the journey of three days, to spy out for them a resting-place;

³³मग होबाब मान्य झाला. आणि परमेश्वराच्या पर्वतापासून ते प्रवास करीत निघाले. याजकांनी परमेश्वराचा पवित्र कराराचा कोश घेतला व ते लोकांच्यापुढे चालले. मुक्कामासाठी जागा शोधताना तीन दिवस तो पवित्र कोश त्यांनी वाहिला.

³⁴and the cloud of Jehovah [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.

³⁴प्रत्येक दिवशी परमेश्वराचा ढग त्यांच्यावर राहून त्यांना मार्ग दाखवीत असे.

³⁵And it cometh to pass in the journeying of the ark, that Moses saith, `Rise, O Jehovah, and Thine enemies are scattered, and those hating Thee flee from Thy presence.`

³⁵लोक जेव्हा पवित्र कराराचा कोश उचलून मुक्काम हलवीत तेव्हा मोशे म्हणत असे, “हे परमेश्वरा, ऊठ तुझ्या शत्रूंची सर्व दिशांना पांगापांग होवो, तुझे सर्व शत्रू तुजपासून पळून जावोत.”

³⁶And in its resting he saith, `Return, O Jehovah, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.`

³⁶आणि जेव्हा पवित्र कराराचा कोश त्याच्या जागी ठेवला जाई तेव्हा मोशे म्हणत असे, “हे परमेश्वरा, इस्राएलाच्या लाखो लोकांकडे परत ये.”
