1Praise ye Jah! Praise ye the name of Jehovah, Praise, ye servants of Jehovah,
1परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वराच्या नावाची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वराच्या सेवकांनो, त्याची स्तुती करा.
2Who are standing in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.
2त्यांचे गुणवर्णन करा. परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात उभे राहाणाऱ्या लोकांनो, आमच्या देवाच्या मंदिराच्या अंगणात उभे राहाणाऱ्यांनो, त्याची स्तुती करा.
3Praise ye Jah! for Jehovah [is] good, Sing praise to His name, for [it is] pleasant.
3परमेश्वर चांगला आहे म्हणून त्याची स्तुती करा. त्याच्या नावाचे गुणगान करा. कारण तो चांगला आहे.
4For Jacob hath Jah chosen for Himself, Israel for His peculiar treasure.
4परमेश्वराने याकोबला निवडले. इस्राएल देवाचा आहे.
5For I have known that great [is] Jehovah, Yea, our Lord [is] above all gods.
5परमेश्वरा महान आहे हे मला माहीत आहे. आमचा प्रभु सगळ्या देवांपेक्षा महान आहे.
6All that Jehovah pleased He hath done, In the heavens and in earth, In the seas and all deep places,
6परमेश्वर त्याला हवे ते पृथ्वीवर आणि स्वर्गात समुद्रात आणि खोल महासागरात करत असतो.
7Causing vapours to ascend from the end of the earth, Lightnings for the rain He hath made, Bringing forth wind from His treasures.
7देव सर्व पृथ्वीभर ढग तयार करतो. विजा आणि पाऊस तयार करतो आणि वाराही तयार करतो.
8Who smote the first-born of Egypt, From man unto beast.
8देवाने मिसर मधले सगळे पहिल्यांदा जन्माला आलेले पुरुष आणि प्राणी मारुन टाकले.
9He sent tokens and wonders into thy midst, O Egypt, On Pharaoh and on all his servants.
9देवाने मिसरमध्ये अनेक अद्भूत आणि चमत्कारिक गोष्टी केल्या. देवाने फारो आणि त्याच्या अधिकाऱ्यांच्या बाबतीत या गोष्टी केल्या.
10Who smote many nations, and slew strong kings,
10देवाने पुष्कळ राष्ट्रांचा पराभव केला. देवाने शक्तिशाली राजांना मारले.
11Even Sihon king of the Amorite, And Og king of Bashan, And all kingdoms of Canaan.
11देवाने अमोऱ्याच्या सिहोन राजाचा पराभव केला. देवाने बाशानच्या ओग राजाचा पराभव केला. देवाने कनानमधल्या सर्व राष्ट्रांचा पराभव केला.
12And He gave their land an inheritance, An inheritance to Israel His people,
12आणि देवाने त्यांची जमीन इस्राएलला दिली. देवाने ती जमीन त्याच्या लोकांना दिली.
13O Jehovah, Thy name [is] to the age, O Jehovah, Thy memorial to all generations.
13परमेश्वरा, तुझे नाव सदैव प्रसिध्द राहील. परमेश्वरा, लोकांना तुझी नेहमी आठवण येईल.
14For Jehovah doth judge His people, And for His servants comforteth Himself.
14परमेश्वराने राष्ट्रांना शिक्षा केली. पण परमेश्वर त्याच्या सेवकांबरोबर दयाळू होता.
15The idols of the nations [are] silver and gold, Work of the hands of man.
15दुसऱ्या लोकांचे देव केवळ सोन्याचांदीचे पुतळे होते. त्यांचे देव म्हणजे लोकांनी केलेले पुतळे होते.
16A mouth they have, and they speak not, Eyes they have, and they see not,
16त्या पुतळ्यांना तोंड होते पण ते बोलू शकत नव्हते. त्या पुतळ्यांना डोळे होते पण ते पाहू शकत नव्हते.
17Ears they have, and they give not ear, Nose — there is no breath in their mouth!
17पुतळ्यांना कान होते पण ते ऐकू शकत नव्हते. त्या पुतळ्यांना नाक होते पण ते वास घेऊ शकत नव्हते.
18Like them are their makers, Every one who is trusting in them.
18आणि ज्या लोकांनी हे पुतळे केले तेही या पुतळ्यांसारखेच होतील. का? कारण त्यांनी त्या पुतळ्यांवर मदतीसाठी विश्वास टाकला होता.
19O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah, O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah,
19इस्राएलाच्या कुटुंबांनो, परमेश्वराचे स्तोत्र गा. अहरोनाच्या कुटुंबांनो, परमेश्वराचे स्तोत्र गा.
20O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah, Those fearing Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
20लेवीच्या कुटुंबांनो, परमेश्वराचे स्तोत्र गा. परमेश्वराच्या भक्तांनो, परमेश्वराचे स्तोत्र गा.
21Blessed [is] Jehovah from Zion, Inhabiting Jerusalem — praise ye Jah!
21परमेश्वराला सियोनहून त्याचे घर असलेल्या यरुशलेममधून धन्यवाद मिळोत. परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.
