1To the Overseer. — By a servant of Jehovah, by David, who hath spoken to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul, and he saith: — I love Thee, O Jehovah, my strength.
1तो म्हणाला, “परमेश्वरा, तू माझे सामर्थ्य आहेस मी तुझ्यावर प्रेम करतो.”
2Jehovah [is] my rock, and my bulwark, And my deliverer, My God [is] my rock, I trust in Him: My shield, and a horn of my salvation, My high tower.
2परमेश्वर माझा खडक माझा किल्ला माझी संरक्षक जागा आहे. माझा देव माझा खडक आहे. मी माझ्या रक्षणासाठी त्याच्याकडे धाव घेतो. देव माझी ढाल आहे. त्याची शक्ती नेहमी माझे रक्षण करते. परमेश्वर माझी उंच डोंगरावरची लपण्याची जागा आहे.
3The `Praised One` I call Jehovah, And from my enemies I am saved.
3त्यांनी माझी चेष्टा केली. परंतु मी ज्याची स्तुती केली जावी अशा परमेश्वराचा धावा केला आणि शत्रूंपासून माझे रक्षण झाले.
4Compassed me have cords of death, And streams of the worthless make me afraid.
4माझे शत्रू मला मारण्याचा प्रयत्न करीत होते. मृत्यूच्या दोऱ्या माझ्या भोवती होत्या मृत्युलोकात नेणाऱ्या पुरात मी सापडलो होतो.
5Cords of Sheol have surrounded me, Before me have been snares of death.
5थडग्याच्या दोऱ्या माझ्या भोवती होत्या. मृत्यूचा सापळा माझ्या पुढ्यात होता.
6In mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I cry. He heareth from His temple my voice, And My cry before Him cometh into His ears.
6सापळ्यात अडकल्यावर मी परमेश्वराचा धावा केला. होय, मी देवाला माझ्या मदतीसाठी बोलावले. देव त्याच्या मंदिरात होता. त्याने माझा आवाज ऐकला. त्याने माझी मदतीची हाक ऐकली.
7And shake and tremble doth the earth, And foundations of hills are troubled, And they shake — because He hath wrath.
7पृथ्वी हादरली आणि कंपित झाली. स्वर्गाचा पाया हादरला. का? कारण परमेश्वर क्रोधित झाला होता.
8Gone up hath smoke by His nostrils, And fire from His mouth consumeth, Coals have been kindled by it.
8देवाच्या नाकातून धूर आला देवाच्या तोंडातून अग्रीच्या ज्वाळा निघाल्या. त्याच्या अंगातून ठिणग्या उडाल्या.
9And He inclineth the heavens, and cometh down, And thick darkness [is] under His feet.
9परमेश्वराने आकाश फाडले आणि तो खाली आला तो घट् काळ्या ढगावर उभा राहिला.
10And He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And He flieth on wings of wind.
10परमेश्वर उडत होता तो उडणाऱ्या करुबावर आरुढ होऊन वाऱ्यावर उंच उडत होता.
11He maketh darkness His secret place, Round about Him His tabernacle, Darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.
11परमेश्वर त्याच्या सभोवती तंबूसारख्या पसरलेल्या काळ्या ढगात लपला होता. तो गडगडणाऱ्या दाट ढगात लपला होता.
12From the brightness over-against Him His thick clouds have passed on, Hail and coals of fire.
12नंतर देवाचे चमचमते तेज ढगातून बाहेर पडले. तेथे गारा पडल्या आणि विजांचा चमचमाट झाला.
13And thunder in the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice, Hail and coals of fire.
13परमेश्वराने ढगामधून गडगडाट केला, त्या सर्वशक्तिमान देवाने आपला आवाज ऐकवला तेथे गारा पडल्या आणि विजांचा कडकडाट झाला.
14And He sendeth His arrows and scattereth them, And much lightning, and crusheth them.
14परमेश्वराने त्याचे बाण सोडले आणि शत्रूची दाणादाण उडाली परमेश्वराने विजेचे लोळ फेकून लोकांची त्रेधा उडवली.
15And seen are the streams of waters, And revealed are foundations of the earth. From Thy rebuke, O Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of Thine anger.
15मी न्यायासाठी प्रार्थना केली. म्हणून परमेश्वरा, मी तुझा चेहरा बघेन आणि तुला बघून मी पूर्ण समाधानी होईन. परमेश्वराने त्याला शौलापासून आणि इतर शंत्रूपासून वाचवलेतेव्हा लिहीले.
16He sendeth from above — He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.
16परमेश्वर वरुन खाली आला आणि त्याने माझे रक्षण केले. परमेश्वराने मला धरले आणि खोल पाण्यातून (संकटांतून) बाहेर काढले.
17He delivereth me from my strong enemy, And from those hating me, For they have been stronger than I.
17माझे शत्रू माझ्यापेक्षा शक्तिमान होते. ते लोक माझा तिरस्कार करीत होते माझे शत्रू मला खूप भारी होते म्हणून देवाने माझे रक्षण केले.
18They go before me in a day of my calamity And Jehovah is for a support to me.
18मी संकटात असताना शत्रूंनी हल्ला केला. परंतु माझ्या मदतीसाठी परमेश्वर तेथे होता.
19And He bringeth me forth to a large place, He draweth me out, because He delighted in me.
19परमेश्वर माझ्यावर प्रेम करतो. म्हणून त्याने माझी सुटका केली. तो मला सुरक्षित जागी घेऊन गेला.
20Jehovah doth recompense me According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.
20मी निरपराध असल्यामुळे परमेश्वर मला माझे बक्षीस देईल मी काही चूक केली नाही म्हणून तो माझ्यासाठी चांगल्या गोष्टी करेल.
21For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.
21का? कारण मी परमेश्वराची आज्ञा पाळली मी माझ्या देवाविरुध्द पाप केले नाही.
22For all His judgments [are] before me, And His statutes I turn not from me.
22परमेश्वराच्या सर्व निर्णयांची मी नेहमी आठवण ठेवतो. मी त्याचे नियम पाळतो.
23And I am perfect with him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.
23मी त्याच्या समोर स्वत ला शुध्द आणि निरपराध राखले. मी वाईट गोष्टींपासून स्वतला राखले.
24And Jehovah doth return to me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, Over-against his eyes.
24म्हणून परमेश्वर मला माझे फळ देईल. का? कारण मी निरपराध आहे. देव पाहातो की मी काहीच चूक करीत नाही म्हणून तो माझ्यासाठी चांगल्या गोष्टी करील.
25With the kind Thou showest Thyself kind, With a perfect man showest Thyself perfect.
25परमेश्वरा, जर एखादा माणूस तुझ्यावर खरोखरच प्रेम करत असेल तर तू त्याला तुझे खरे प्रेम दाखवशील. जर एखादा माणूस तुझ्याशी खरा वागला तर तू देखील त्याच्याशी खरा वागशील.
26With the pure Thou showest Thyself pure, And with the perverse showest Thyself a wrestler,
26परमेश्वर, जे लोक चांगले आणि शुध्द असतात त्यांच्याशी तू चांगला आणि शुध्द असतोस परंतु अगदी नीच आणि कुटिल असणान्यांना तू नामोहरण करतोस.
27For Thou a poor people savest, And the eyes of the high causest to fall.
27परमेश्वरा, तू दीनांना मदत करतोस पण तू गर्विष्ठांना खाली पाहायला लावतोस.
28For Thou — Thou lightest my lamp, Jehovah my God enlighteneth my darkness.
28परमेश्वरा, तू माझा दिवा लावतोस देव माझ्या भोवतालचा अंधार उजळतो.
29For by Thee I run — a troop! And by my God I leap a wall.
29परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या मदतीने मी सैनिकांबरोबर पळू शकतो. देवाच्या मदतीने मी शत्रूच्या भिंतीवर चढू शकतो.
30God! perfect [is] His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield [is] He to all those trusting in Him.
30देवाची शक्ती परिपूर्ण आहे. परमेश्वराच्या शब्दांची परीक्षा घेतली गेली आहे. जे त्याच्यावर विश्वास टाकतात त्यांचे तो रक्षण करतो.
31For who [is] God besides Jehovah? And who [is] a rock save our God?
31परमेश्वराखेरीज इतर कुठलाही देव नाही. आपल्या देवाखेरीज इतर खडक इथे नाहीत.
32God! who is girding me [with] strength, And He maketh perfect my way.
32देव मला शक्ति देतो शुध्द जीवन जगण्यासाठी तो मला मदत करतो.
33Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand.
33देव मला हरणासारखे जोरात पळण्यासाठी मदत करतो. तो मला उंचावर स्थिर ठेवतो.
34Teaching my hands for battle, And a bow of brass was brought down by my arms.
34देव मला युध्दाचे शिक्षण देतो. त्यामुळे माझे हात शक्तिशाली बाण सोडू शकतात.
35And Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy right hand doth support me, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.
35देवा, तू माझे रक्षण केलेस आणि मला जिंकायला मदत केलीस तू मला तुझ्या उजव्या हाताने आधार दिलास माझ्या शत्रूचा पराभव करण्यासाठी तू मला मदत केलीस.
36Thou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.
36माझ्या पायांना आणि घोट्यांना तू शक्ती दिलीस. त्यामुळे मी न पडता चालू शकलो.
37I pursue mine enemies, and overtake them, And turn back not till they are consumed.
37नंतर मी माझ्या शत्रूंचा पाठलाग करु शकतो आणि त्यांना पकडू शकतो त्यांचा नायनाट झाल्याशिवाय मी परत येणार नाही.
38I smite them, and they are not able to rise, They fall under my feet,
38मी माझ्या शत्रूंचा पराभव करीन. ते पुन्हा उभे राहू शकणार नाहीत. माझे सगळे शत्रू माझ्या पायाखाली असतील.
39And Thou girdest me [with] strength for battle, Causest my withstanders to bow under me.
39देवा, तू मला युध्दात शक्तिमात बनवलेस तू माझ्या शत्रूंना माझ्यासमोर पडायला लावलेस.
40As to mine enemies — Thou hast given to me the neck, As to those hating me — I cut them off.
40तू मला माझ्या शत्रूची मान धरायची संधी दिलीस आणि मी माझ्या शत्रूचा संहार केला.
41They cry, and there is no saviour, On Jehovah, and He doth not answer them.
41माझ्या शत्रूंनी मदतीसाठी हाका मारल्या परंतु तेथे त्यांचे रक्षण करायला कोणीच नव्हते. त्यांनी परमेश्वराला सुध्दा बोलावले पण त्याने उत्तर दिले नाही.
42And I beat them as dust before wind, As mire of the streets I empty them out.
42मी माझ्या शत्रूचे मारुन तुकडे केले. त्यांची अवस्था वाऱ्यावर उडणाऱ्या धुळीप्रमाणे झाली मी त्यांचे लहान लहान तुकडे केले.
43Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of the people, Thou placest me for a head of nations, A people I have not known do serve me.
43माझ्याशी लढणाऱ्या लोकांपासून मला वाचव मला त्या राष्ट्रांचा प्रमुख कर जे लोक मला माहीत देखील नाहीत ते लोक माझी सेवा करतील.
44At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me, Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me,
44ते लोक माझ्या विषयी ऐकतील आणि लगेच माझ्या आज्ञांचे पालन करतील. ते परदेशी मला घाबरतील.
45Sons of a stranger fade away, And are slain out of their close places.
45ते परदेशी गलितगात्र होतील. ते त्यांच्या लपण्याच्या जागेतून भीतीने थरथर कापत बाहेर येतील.
46Jehovah liveth — and blessed [is] my rock, And exalted is the God of my salvation.
46परमेश्वर जिवंत आहे, मी माझ्या खडकाची स्तुती करतो देव मला वाचवतो तो महान आहे.
47God — who is giving vengeance to me, And He subdueth peoples under me,
47देवाने माझ्यासाठी माझ्या शत्रूंना शिक्षा केली, त्याने त्या राष्ट्रांना माझ्या सत्ते खाली आणले.
48My deliverer from mine enemies, Above my withstanders Thou raisest me, From a man of violence dost deliver me.
48परमेश्वरा, तू माझी माझ्या शत्रूंपासून सुटका केलीस जे लोक माझ्याविरुध्द उभे राहिले त्यांचा पराभव करण्यासाठी तू मला मदत केलीस. तू मला क्रूर माणसांपासून वाचवलेस.
49Therefore I confess Thee among nations, O Jehovah, And to Thy name I sing praise,
49परमेश्वरा, म्हणून मी तुझी स्तुती करतो म्हणून मी तुझ्या नावाचे देशांत गुणगान गातो.
50Magnifying the salvation of His king, And doing kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed — unto the age!
50परमेश्वर त्याच्या राजाला अनेक युध्द जिंकायला मदत करतो तो त्याने निवडलेल्या राजाला आपले खरे प्रेम देतो. तो दावीदाशी आणि त्याच्या वंशजांशी कायमचा प्रामाणिक राहील.
