1By David, in his changing his behaviour before Abimelech, and he driveth him away, and he goeth. I do bless Jehovah at all times, Continually His praise [is] in my mouth.
1मी परमेश्वराला नेहमी धन्यवाद देईन. माझ्या ओठांवर नेहमी त्याची स्तुती असेल.
2In Jehovah doth my soul boast herself, Hear do the humble and rejoice.
2विनम्र लोकांनो ऐका आणि आनंदी व्हा माझ्या मनाला परमेश्वराचा गर्व वाटतो.
3Ascribe ye greatness to Jehovah with me, And we exalt His name together.
3देवाच्या महानते बद्दल माझ्या बरोबर सांगत चला. आपण त्याच्या नावाला प्रतिष्ठा देऊ या.
4I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, And from all my fears did deliver me.
4मी देवाकडे मदतीसाठी गेलो आणि त्याने माझे ऐकले. मला ज्या सर्व गोष्टींची भीती वाटत होती त्यापासून त्याने मला वाचवले.
5They looked expectingly unto Him, And they became bright, And their faces are not ashamed.
5देवाकडे मदतीसाठी वळा तुमचा स्वीकार होईल लाज वाटून घेऊ नका.
6This poor [one] called, and Jehovah heard, And from all his distresses saved him.
6या गरीब माणसाने परमेश्वराकडे मदत मागितली आणि परमेश्वराने माझे ऐकले. त्याने माझी सर्व संकटांतून मुक्तता केली.
7A messenger of Jehovah is encamping, Round about those who fear Him, And He armeth them.
7परमेश्वराचा दूत त्याच्या भक्तांभोवती छावणी बांधतो. परमेश्वराचा दूत त्यांचे रक्षण करतो व त्यांना संकट मुक्त करतो.
8Taste ye and see that Jehovah [is] good, O the happiness of the man who trusteth in Him.
8परमेश्वराचा अनुभव घ्या आणि तो किती चांगला आहे ते शिका जो परमेश्वरावर अवलंबून असतो तो खरोखरच सुखी होईल.
9Fear Jehovah, ye His holy ones, For there is no lack to those fearing Him.
9परमेश्वराच्या पवित्र लोकांनी त्याची भक्ती केली पाहिजे. परमेश्वराच्या भक्तांसाठी सुराक्षित अशी दुसरी जागा नाही.
10Young lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking Jehovah lack not any good,
10शक्तिशाली माणसे दुबळी आणि भुकेली बनतील. परंतु जे लोक देवाकडे मदतीसाठी जातात त्यांना चांगल्या गोष्टी मिळतील.
11Come ye, children, hearken to me, The fear of Jehovah I do teach you.
11मुलांनो माझे ऐका आणि मी तुम्हाला परमेश्वराला कसा मान द्यायचा ते शिकवीन.
12Who [is] the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good?
12जर एखाद्याचे जीवनावर प्रेम असेल आणि त्याला जर खूप आणि चांगले जगायचे असेल तर,
13Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit.
13त्याने वाईट गोष्टी बोलायला नकोत. त्याने खोटे बोलायला नको.
14Turn aside from evil and do good, Seek peace and pursue it.
14वाईट कृत्ये करणे सोडून द्या. चांगली कृत्ये करा. शांतीसाठी काम करा. शांती मिळे पर्यंत तिच्या मागे धावा.
15The eyes of Jehovah [are] unto the righteous, And His ears unto their cry.
15परमेश्वर चांगल्या लोकांचे रक्षण करतो. तो त्यांची प्रार्थना ऐकतो.
16(The face of Jehovah [is] on doers of evil, To cut off from earth their memorial.)
16परंतु परमेश्वर वाईट कृत्ये करणाऱ्या लोकांच्या विरुध्द आहे. तो त्यांचा सर्वनाश करतो.
17They cried, and Jehovah heard, And from all their distresses delivered them.
17परमेश्वराची प्रार्थना करा, तो तुमचे ऐकेल. तो तुम्हाला तुमच्या सर्व संकटांतून वाचवेल.
18Near [is] Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth.
18काही लोकांवर खूप संकटे येतात आणि ते गर्व करायचे थांबवतात. परमेश्वर अशा लोकांच्या जवळ असतो. तो त्या विनम्र लोकांचे रक्षण करतो.
19Many [are] the evils of the righteous, Out of them all doth Jehovah deliver him.
19चांगल्या लोकांच्या मागे अनेक संकटे येतील. परंतु परमेश्वर त्यांना प्रत्येक संकटातून वाचवतो.
20He is keeping all his bones, One of them hath not been broken.
20परमेश्वर त्याच्या सर्व हाडाचे रक्षण करेल. त्यांचे एकही हाड तो मोडू देणार नाही.
21Evil doth put to death the wicked, And those hating the righteous are desolate.
21परंतु संकटे वाईट माणसांना मारुन टाकतील चांगल्या माणसांच्या सगळ्या शत्रूंचा नाश होईल.
22Jehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate!
22परमेश्वर त्याच्या सेवकांच्या आत्म्यांना वाचवतो. ते लोक त्याच्यावर अवलंबून असतात तो त्यांचा विनाश होऊ देणार नाही.
