¹By Solomon. O God, Thy judgments to the king give, And Thy righteousness to the king`s son.

¹देवा, तू राजाला तुझ्यासारखे योग्य निर्णय घेण्यासाठी मदत कर. आणि राजाच्या मुलाला तुझ्या चांगुलपणा विषयी शिकायला मदत कर.

²He judgeth Thy people with righteousness, And Thy poor with judgment.

²तुझ्या लोकांना चांगला न्याय मिळावा म्हणून राजाला मदत कर तुझ्या गरीब लोकांसाठी चांगले आणि शहाणपणाचे निर्णय घेण्यासाठी त्याला मदत कर.

³The mountains bear peace to the people, And the heights by righteousness.

³पृथ्वीवर सगळीकडे शांती आणि न्याय नांदू दे.

⁴He judgeth the poor of the people, Giveth deliverance to the sons of the needy, And bruiseth the oppressor.

⁴राजाला गरीबांविषयी न्यायी राहू दे. त्याला असहाय लोकांना मदत करु दे. त्यांना जे त्रास देतात त्या लोकांना त्याला शिक्षा करु दे.

⁵They fear Thee with the sun, and before the moon, Generation — generations.

⁵जो वर सूर्य चमकतो आहे आणि चंद्र आकाशात आहे तोवर लोकांनी राजाला मान द्यावा आणि त्याची भीती बाळगावी असे मला वाटते. लोक त्याला सदैव मान देतील आणि त्याची भीती बाळगतील अशी आशा मी करतो.

⁶He cometh down as rain on mown grass, As showers — sprinkling the earth.

⁶राजाला शेतात पडणाऱ्या पावसासारखे असू दे त्याला पृथ्वीवर पडणाऱ्या पर्जन्यासारखे असू दे.

⁷Flourish in his days doth the righteous, And abundance of peace till the moon is not.

⁷तो जो पर्यंत राजा आहे तो पर्यंत चांगुलपणा उमलू दे. जो पर्यंत चंद्र आहे तो पर्यंत शांती नांदू दे.

⁸And he ruleth from sea unto sea, And from the river unto the ends of earth.

⁸त्याचे राज्य एका समुद्रापासून दुसऱ्या समुद्रापर्यंत आणि युफ्रेटस नदीपासून पृथ्वीच्या दुसऱ्या टोकापर्यत वाढू दे.

⁹Before him bow do the inhabitants of the dry places, And his enemies lick the dust.

⁹वाळवंटात राहाणाऱ्या सर्व लोकांना त्याच्या समोर मुजरे करु दे. त्याच्या सर्व शत्रूंना त्याच्यापुढे घाणीत तोंड घालून मुजरे करु दे.

¹⁰Kings of Tarshish and of the isles send back a present. Kings of Sheba and Seba a reward bring near.

¹⁰तार्शीशच्या आणि दूरदूरच्या देशांच्या राजांना त्याच्यासाठी भेटी आणू दे. शबा आणि सबाच्या राजांना त्याच्यासाठी खंडणी आणू दे.

¹¹And all kings do bow themselves to him, All nations do serve him,

¹¹सागळ्या राजांना आमच्या राजासमोर मुजरे करु दे सगळी राष्ट्रे त्याच्या सेवेत राहू दे.

¹²For he delivereth the needy who crieth, And the poor when he hath no helper,

¹²आमचा राजा असहाय्याला मदत करतो. आमचा राजा गरीब आणि असहाय्य लोकांना मदत करतो.

¹³He hath pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he saveth,

¹³गरीब आणि असहाय्य लोक त्याच्यावर अवलंबून असतात. राजा त्यांना जिवंत ठेवतो.

¹⁴From fraud and from violence he redeemeth their soul, And precious is their blood in his eyes.

¹⁴जे दुष्ट लोक त्यांना दु:ख द्यायचा प्रयत्न करतात त्यांच्यापासून राजा त्यांना वाचवतो. राज्याला त्या गरीबांचे आयुष्य खूप मोलाचे वाटते.

¹⁵And he liveth, and giveth to him of the gold of Sheba, And prayeth for him continually, All the day he doth bless him.

¹⁵राजा चिरायु होवो! आणि त्याला शबाकडून सोने मिळू दे. राज्यासाठी नेहमी प्रार्थना करा, त्याला रोज आशीर्वाद द्या.

¹⁶There is a handful of corn in the earth, On the top of mountains, Shake like Lebanon doth its fruit, And they flourish out of the city as the herb of the earth.

¹⁶शेतात खूप धान्य पिकू द्या, डोंगरावरही खूप धान्य उगवू द्या. शेती लबानोन मधील शेतीसारखी सुपीक होऊ द्या आणि शहरे गवताने भरलेल्या शेतासारखी माणसांनी भरु द्या.

¹⁷His name is to the age, Before the sun is his name continued, And they bless themselves in him, All nations do pronounce him happy.

¹⁷राजाला सदैव प्रसिध्द होऊ द्या. जो पर्यंत सूर्य तळपतो आहे तो पर्यत लोकांना त्याची आठवण राहू द्या. त्याला लोकांना आशीर्वाद देऊ द्या आणि लोकांना त्याला आशीर्वाद देऊ द्या.

¹⁸Blessed is Jehovah God, God of Israel, He alone is doing wonders,

¹⁸परमेश्वर देवाची, इस्राएलाच्या देवाची स्तुती करा. फक्त देवच अशा अद्भूत गोष्टी करु शकतो.

¹⁹And blessed [is] the Name of His honour to the age, And the whole earth is filled [with] His honour. Amen, and amen!

¹⁹त्याच्या गौरवपूर्ण नावाची सदैव स्तुती करा. त्याच्या गौरवाने सारे जग भरु द्या. आमेन आमेन.
