¹— A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.

¹देव देवांच्या सभेत उभा राहातो. तो देवांच्या सभेत न्यायाधीश आहे.

²Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? Selah.

²देव म्हणतो, “तू किती काळपर्यंत लोकांना विपरीत न्याय देणार आहेस? दुष्टांना तू आणखी किती काळ शिक्षा न करताच सोडून देणार आहेस?”

³Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.

³“गरीबांना आणि अनाथांना संरक्षण दे. त्या गरीब लोकांच्या हक्कांचे रक्षण कर.

⁴Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.

⁴त्या गरीब, असहाय्य लोकांना मदत कर. त्यांचे दुष्टांपासून रक्षण कर.”

⁵They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.

⁵“काय घडते आहे ते त्यांना कळत नाही. त्यांना काही समजत नाही. ते काय करीत आहेत ते त्यांना कळत नाही. त्यांचे जग त्यांच्या भोवती कोसळत आहे.”

⁶I — I have said, `Gods ye [are], And sons of the Most High — all of you,

⁶मी (देव) म्हणतो, “तुम्ही देव आहात तुम्ही सर्वशक्तिमान देवाची मुले आहात.”

⁷But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall,

⁷परंतु तुम्ही मरणार आहात इतर लोक मरतात त्याप्रमाणे तुम्ही मराल, इतर पुढारी मरतात त्याप्रमाणे तुम्ही मराल.

⁸Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!

⁸देवा, ऊठ! तू न्यायाधीश हो. देवा, तू सर्व देशांचा पुढारी हो.
