¹Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Timotheus the brother,

¹ဘုရားသခင်၏ အလိုတော်အားဖြင့် ယေရှုခရစ်၏ တမန်တော်ဖြစ်သော ငါပေါလုနှင့် ငါညီတိမော သေသည်၊

²to the saints in Colossae, and to the faithful brethren in Christ: Grace to you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!

²ကောလောသဲမြို့၌နေသော သန့်ရှင်းသူတည်းဟူသော၊ ခရစ်တော်ကို ယုံကြည်သောညီအစ်ကိုတို့ကို ကြားလိုက်ပါ၏။ သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်နှင့် ငါတို့အဘတည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင်အထံတော်က ကျေးဇူးတော်နှင့် ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းသည် သင်တို့၌ ရှိပါစေသော။

³We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying for you,

³သင်တို့သည် ယေရှုခရစ်ကိုယုံကြည်၍၊ သန့်ရှင်းသူအပေါင်းတို့ကို ချစ်ကြသည်ဟု ငါတို့သည် ကြားသဖြင့်၎င်း၊

⁴having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love that [is] to all the saints,

⁴သမ္မာတရားတည်းဟူသော ဧဝံဂေလိတရားကို သင်တို့သည်အထက်က ကြားသိကြသည် အတိုင်း၊ သင်တို့ အဘို့ကောင်းကင်ဘုံ၌ သိုထားသော မြော်လင့်ရာကို ထောက်သဖြင့်၎င်း၊ သင်တို့အဘို့ အစဉ်မပြတ် ဆုတောင်း၍၊

⁵because of the hope that is laid up for you in the heavens, which ye heard of before in the word of the truth of the good news,

⁵ငါတို့သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်၏ ခမည်းတော်တည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းကြ၏။

⁶which is present to you, as also in all the world, and is bearing fruit, as also in you, from the day in which ye heard, and knew the grace of God in truth;

⁶ထိုတရားသည် လောကီနိုင်ငံတရှောက်လုံးကို နှံ့ပြားသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ သင်တို့ရှိရာသို့ ရောက်ခဲ့ပြီ။ သင်တို့၌ အသီးသီးခြင်း၊ တိုးပွါးခြင်းကို ပြုသည်နည်းတူ အရပ်ရပ်၌ပင် ပြုတတ်၏။

⁷as ye also learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow-servant, who is for you a faithful ministrant of the Christ,

⁷သင်တို့အမှုကို စောင့်၍၊ ခရစ်တော်ထံ၌ သစ္စာရှိသော ဆရာတည်းဟူသော ငါတို့ချစ်သော ကျွန်ချင်း ဧပဖြသည် သင်တို့ကို သွန်သင်သည်အတိုင်း သင်တို့သည် ကြား၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို မှန်ကန် စွာ ဝန်ခံသောနေ့မှစ၍ ထိုသို့သောအကျိုးရှိ၏။

⁸who also did declare to us your love in the Spirit.

⁸သင်တို့၌ရှိသော ဝိညာဉ်ပကတိမေတ္တာကို ဧပဖြသည် ငါတို့အားပြခဲ့ပြီ။

⁹Because of this, we also, from the day in which we heard, do not cease praying for you, and asking that ye may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

⁹ထို့ကြောင့်၊ ငါတို့သည် ကြားရသည်နေ့မှစ၍၊ သင်တို့အဘို့ အလိုငှါ အစဉ်မပြတ်ဆုတောင်း ပဌနာပြုလျက် နေကြ၏။

¹⁰to your walking worthily of the Lord to all pleasing, in every good work being fruitful, and increasing to the knowledge of God,

¹⁰ဆုတောင်းသောအချက်ဟူမူကား၊ သင်တို့သည် ကောင်းသော အကျင့်အမျိုးမျိုးတည်း ဟူသော အသီးကိုသီးခြင်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုသိသော ဥာဏ်တိုးပွါးခြင်း ရှိသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ဝမ်းမြောက်သောစိတ်နှင့် အရာရာ၌ သည်းခံခြင်း၊ စိတ်ရှည်ခြင်းအလိုငှါ၊ ဘုန်းကြီးသော တန်ခိုးတော်အတိုင်း ခွန်အားနှင့် ပြည့်စုံသဖြင့်၎င်း၊

¹¹in all might being made mighty according to the power of His glory, to all endurance and long-suffering with joy.

¹¹ခမည်းတော်ဘုရား၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ သခင်ဘုရားနှင့် ထိုက်လျောက်စွာ ကျင့်၍ အရာရာ၌ နှစ်သက်တော်မူစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ပညာအမျိုးမျိုး၊ ဓမ္မဥာဏ်အမျိုးမျိုးအားဖြင့် အလိုတော်ကို အကုန်အစင်နားလည်ပါမည်အကြောင်း ဆုတောင်းပဌနာပြု၏။

¹²Giving thanks to the Father who did make us meet for the participation of the inheritance of the saints in the light,

¹²အလင်း၌နေသော သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့၏ အမွေကို ငါတို့သည် ဆက်ဆံဝင်စားထိုက်မည်အကြောင်း ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူ၏။

¹³who did rescue us out of the authority of the darkness, and did translate [us] into the reign of the Son of His love,

¹³မှောင်မိုက်တန်ခိုးမှလည်း ငါတို့ကိုနှုတ်၍၊ ချစ်တော်မူသော သားတော်၏နိုင်ငံထဲသို့ သွင်းတော်မူ၏။

¹⁴in whom we have the redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of the sins,

¹⁴ထိုသားတော်၏ အသွေးအားဖြင့် အပြစ်လွှတ်တော်မူခြင်းတည်းဟူသော ရွေးနှုတ်တော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူး ကို ငါတို့သည် ခံရကြ၏။

¹⁵who is the image of the invisible God, first-born of all creation,

¹⁵ထိုသားတော်သည် မျက်မြင်မရသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်တော်ဖြစ်၏။ ဝေနေယျသတ္တဝါ အပေါင်းတို့တွင်လည်း သားဦးဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁶because in him were the all things created, those in the heavens, and those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities; all things through him, and for him, have been created,

¹⁶အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသားတော်သည် ကောင်းကင်ပေါ်၊ မြေကြီးပေါ်မှာရှိသမျှသော ရူပအရာ၊ အရူပ အရာ၊ ရာဇပလ္လင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ အစိုးရခြင်းတန်ခိုးဖြစ်စေ၊ အထွဋ်အမြတ်ဖြစ်စေ၊ အာဏာစက်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ခပ်သိမ်း သောအရာတို့ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူ၏။ ထိုသခင်အားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ထိုသခင်အဘို့ အလိုငှါ၎င်း၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ သည် ဖန်ဆင်းလျက်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

¹⁷and himself is before all, and the all things in him have consisted.

¹⁷သားတော်သည်လည်း ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာ မဖြစ်မှီ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၍ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့သည် တန်ခိုးတော်အားဖြင့်သာ တည်ကြ၏။

¹⁸And himself is the head of the body — the assembly — who is a beginning, a first-born out of the dead, that he might become in all [things] — himself — first,

¹⁸အသင်းတော်တည်းဟူသော ကိုယ်၏ဦးခေါင်း ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ အရာရာ၌ ထူးမြတ်ခြင်းငှါ မူလအရင်း ဖြစ်၍၊ သေသောသူတို့တွင် သားဦးဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁹because in him it did please all the fulness to tabernacle,

¹⁹အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောပြည့်စုံခြင်းကို သားတော်၌ ကျိန်းဝပ်စေခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊

²⁰and through him to reconcile the all things to himself — having made peace through the blood of his cross — through him, whether the things upon the earth, whether the things in the heavens.

²⁰လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်မှာ သွန်းသောအသွေးတော်အားဖြင့် ရန်ကိုငြိမ်းစေ၍၊ ကောင်းကင်အရာဖြစ်စေ၊ မြေကြီးအရာဖြစ်စေ၊ ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့ကို သားတော်အားဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့စေ ခြင်းငှါ၎င်း အလိုရှိတော်မူ၏။

²¹And you — once being alienated, and enemies in the mind, in the evil works, yet now did he reconcile,

²¹အထက်က ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်ကွာရှင်း၍၊ ဆိုးညစ်သောအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်သဖြင့် စိတ်နှလုံး၌ ရန်သူဖြစ်သော သင်တို့ကို၊ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓတော်၌ အသေခံတော်မူသော အားဖြင့်၊ ယခုမိဿဟာယဖွဲ့စေတော်မူ၏။

²²in the body of his flesh through the death, to present you holy, and unblemished, and unblameable before himself,

²²အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကောင်းကင်အောက်၌ ရှိသမျှသော ဝေနေယျသတ္တဝါတို့အား ဟောပြောသဖြင့်၊ သင်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တိုင်ကြားရပြီးသော ဧဝံဂေလိတရား၏ မြော်လင့်ခြင်းမှ မရွေ့လျော့ဘဲ၊

²³if also ye remain in the faith, being founded and settled, and not moved away from the hope of the good news, which ye heard, which was preached in all the creation that [is] under the heaven, of which I became — I Paul — a ministrant.

²³တိုက်မြစ်ကျခြင်း၊ တည်ကြည်ခြင်းနှင့်တကွ မြဲမြံစွာယုံကြည်ကြလျှင်၊ သန့်ရှင်းစင်ကြယ်လျက် အပြစ်တင်ခွင့်နှင့် ကင်းလွတ်လျက်ရှိသော သင်တို့ကို ရှေ့တော်၌ ဆက်သမည်အကြောင်းတည်း။

²⁴I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and do fill up the things lacking of the tribulations of the Christ in my flesh for his body, which is the assembly,

²⁴ငါပေါလုသည် ထိုတရားကို ဟောသောဆရာဖြစ်သည်နှင့် သင်တို့အဘို့အလိုငှါ ဆင်းရဲခံခြင်း၌ ယခု ဝမ်းမြောက်၍၊ ခရစ်တော်၏ ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခအကြွင်းအကျန်ကို အသင်းတော်တည်းဟူသော ကိုယ်တော်အဘို့ အလိုငှါ ငါ့ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာ၌ ပြည့်စုံစေ၏။

²⁵of which I — I did become a ministrant according to the dispensation of God, that was given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God,

²⁵ရှေးကပ်ကာလပတ်လုံး ဝှက်ထားလျက်ရှိသော်လည်း၊ ယခုတွင် သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့အား ဘော်ပြသော နက်နဲရာတည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တရားတော်ကို အကုန်အစင် ဟောပြောစေခြင်းငှါ၊

²⁶the secret that hath been hid from the ages and from the generations, but now was manifested to his saints,

²⁶သင်တို့အကျိုးကို ထောက်၍၊ ငါအား အပ်ပေးတော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ သာသနာတော်နှင့်အညီ၊ ငါသည် အသင်းတော်၌ ဓမ္မဆရာ၏ အဖြစ်သို့ရောက်ရပြီ။

²⁷to whom God did will to make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this secret among the nations — which is Christ in you, the hope of the glory,

²⁷တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့တွင် ဤနက်နဲသောအရာနှင့်ဆိုင်သော မဟာစည်းစိမ်ကား၊ အဘယ်မျှလောက်ကြီး သည်ကို သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့သည် သိစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဘုရားသခင် အလိုရှိတော်မူ၏။ ထိုစည်းစိမ်ကား၊ ဘုန်းအသရေကို မြော်လင့်ခြင်းအကြောင်းတည်းဟူသော သင်တို့အထဲ၌ တည်တော်မူသော ခရစ်တော်ပေတည်း။

²⁸whom we proclaim, warning every man, and teaching every man, in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus,

²⁸ခရစ်တော်အားဖြင့် လူတိုင်းစုံလင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်၍ လူခပ်သိမ်းတို့ကို ဆက်သအံ့သောငှါ၊ ငါတို့သည် လူခပ်သိမ်းတို့ကို သတိပေး၍ ပညာအမျိုးမျိုးနှင့် ဆုံးမသွန်သင်လျက် ခရစ်တော်၏တရားကို ဟောပြောကြ၏။

²⁹for which also I labour, striving according to his working that is working in me in power.

²⁹ထိုသို့အလိုငှါ ငါသည် အမှုဆောင်ရွက်၍၊ ငါ၌ တန်ခိုးတော် ပြုပြင်အားထုတ်တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ကြိုးစားအားထုတ်လေ့ရှိ၏။
