¹`And thou hast made an altar [for] making perfume; [of] shittim wood thou dost make it;

¹Huan gimlim halna ding maitam na bawl ding: singgi singin na bawl ding hi.

²a cubit its length, and a cubit its breadth, (it is square), and two cubits its height; its horns [are] of the same.

²Huai saulam tong khat ahi ding, huai zatlam tong khat: kim taka bawl ahi ding: huai sanlam tong nih ahi ding: huai kite a kibang ahi ding hi.

³`And thou hast overlaid it with pure gold, its top, and its sides round about, and its horns; and thou hast made to it a crown of gold round about;

³Huan dangkaeng takin na luan ding, huai tung, huai sikte a kimvelin, huai kite: huaiah a kimvelin dangkaeng lallukhu na bawl ding hi.

⁴and two rings of gold thou dost make to it under its crown; on its two ribs thou dost make [them], on its two sides, and they have become places for staves, to bear it with them.

⁴Dangkaeng sikkual nih a lallukhu dangah, huai a ning nihteah na bawl dinga, a sik nihte tungah na bawl ding; a puakna ding chiangte adia mun ahi ding uhi.

⁵`And thou hast made the staves of shittim wood, and hast overlaid them with gold;

⁵Huchiin singgi singin chiang na bawl dia, dangkaengin huaite na luan ding hi.

⁶and thou hast put it before the vail, which [is] by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy-seat which [is] over the testimony, whither I am met with thee.

⁶Ka honkituahpihna ding mun, theihsakna tunga om chitna tutphah ma, theihpihna bawm kianga om puanjak maah na koih ding.

⁷`And Aaron hath made perfume on it, perfume of spices, morning by morning; in his making the lamps right he doth perfume it,

⁷Huchiin jingsang tengin huai tungah Aron in gimlim a hal ding; khawnvakte a bawl chiangin, a tungah gimlim a hal ding.

⁸and in Aaron`s causing the lamps to go up between the evenings, he doth perfume it; a continual perfume before Jehovah to your generations.

⁸Huan nitaklama Aronin khawnvakte a det chiangin, a tungah gimlam a hal ding, na khang na khang un TOUPA maa gimlim hi ni louhlouh dingin.

⁹`Ye do not cause strange perfume to go up upon it, and burnt-offering, and present, and libation ye do not pour out on it;

⁹Huaiah theihlouh gimlim, hiam halmang thillat hiam, tangbuang thillat hiam, na lan ding uh ahi kei hi; huailouin huai ah dawn thillat leng na sung ding uh ahi kei hi.

¹⁰and Aaron hath made atonement on its horns, once in a year, by the blood of the sin-offering of atonements; once in a year doth he make atonement for it, to your generations; it [is] most holy to Jehovah.`

¹⁰Huchiin kum khatin khatvei Aronin lemna khelhna thillat sisanin a kite tungah lemna a bawl ding: na khang na khang un kum khatin khatvei a tungah lemna a bawl ding hi; TOUPA adia siangthou penpen ahi.

¹¹And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹¹Huan TOUPAN Mosi kiangah thu a gena,

¹²`When thou takest up the sum of the sons of Israel for their numbers, then they have given each an atonement [for] his soul to Jehovah in their being numbered, and there is no plague among them in their being numbered.

¹²A zah uh dungjui a Israel suante gawmkhawm na lak chiangin, amau na sim laiin, huaichiangin mi chihin TOUPA kianga a kha tatna ding a piak ding uh ahi; na sim chianga na lak ua gawtna a omlouhna dingin.

¹³`This they do give, every one passing over unto those numbered, half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel [is] twenty gerahs); half a shekel [is] the heave-offering to Jehovah;

¹³Hiai a pe ding uh, sima omte laka michih paisuakte, munsiangthoua sekel dungjuiin sekel kimkhat: (sekel khat gera sawmnih ahi: ) sekel kimkhat TOUPA dia thillat ahi ding.

¹⁴every one passing over unto those numbered, from a son of twenty years and upwards, doth give the heave-offering of Jehovah;

¹⁴Sima omte laka paisuak peuhmah kum sawmniha upa leh a tunglamin TOUPA kiangah thillat a piak ding uh.

¹⁵the rich doth not multiply, and the poor doth not diminish from the half-shekel, to give the heave-offering of Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

¹⁵Na kha ua dinga lemna bawlna dinga, TOUPA kianga thillat a piak chiang un, ahaute leh ajawngten sekel kimkhat sanga tamjaw leh tawmjaw a piak louh ding uh ahi.

¹⁶`And thou hast taken the atonement-money from the sons of Israel, and hast given it for the service of the tent of meeting; and it hath been to the sons of Israel for a memorial before Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.`

¹⁶Huchiin Israel suante lemna sum na la dinga, kihoupihna puanina nasepna adingin na sep ding hi; na kha uh tatna dinga, TOUPA maa Israel suante adia theihgigena a hih theihna dingin.

¹⁷And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

¹⁷Huan TOUPAN Mosi kiangah thu a gena

¹⁸`And thou hast made a laver of brass (and its base of brass), for washing; and thou hast put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and hast put water there;

¹⁸Silna dingin tuikuang dalin na bawl lai dinga, a khe leng dalin: huan kihoupihna puanin leh maitam kikalah na koih ding, huchiin huaiah tui na koih ding hi.

¹⁹and Aaron and his sons have washed at it their hands and their feet,

¹⁹Aron leh a tapaten a khutte uh leh a khete uh huaia a sil ding jiak un:

²⁰in their going in unto the tent of meeting they wash [with] water, and die not; or in their drawing nigh unto the altar to minister, to perfume a fire-offering to Jehovah,

²⁰Kihoupihna puanina a lut chiang ua, a sihlouhna dingun a khutte uh leh a khete uh a sil ding uh ahi: ahihkeileh TOUPA dia thillat meia bawl hal dinga, nasem dia maitam kianga a hongpai chiang un:

²¹then they have washed their hands and their feet, and they die not, and it hath been to them a statute age-during, to him and to his seed to their generations.`

²¹Huchia a sihlouhna ding un a khutte uh leh a khete uh a sil ding uh ahi: khantawnin amau adingin thuseh ahi ding, a khang a khang un amah ading leh a chite ading nangawnin, chiin.

²²And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

²²TOUPAN Mosi kiangah thu a gen nalaia,

²³`And thou, take to thyself principal spices, wild honey five hundred [shekels]; and spice-cinnamon, the half of that, two hundred and fifty; and spice-cane two hundred and fifty;

²³Gimlim mahmah leng kilak inla, murra tak sekel zanga leh singguithak lim huai kimkhat, sekel zanih leh sawmnga sialluang khum sekel zanih leh sawmnga,

²⁴and cassia five hundred, by the shekel of the sanctuary, and olive oil a hin;

²⁴Singguithak sekel zanga, mun siangthou sekel dungjuiin, oliv thau hin khat:

²⁵and thou hast made it a holy anointing oil, a compound mixture, work of a compounder; it is a holy anointing oil.

²⁵Huan nuhtheih siangthouin thau na bawl dinga, nuhtheih damdawimi siamna banga gawm: nilhtheih thau siangthou ahi ding.

²⁶`And thou hast anointed with it the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony,

²⁶Huaia kihoupihna puanin na nuh ding, theihpihna bawm toh,

²⁷and the table and all its vessels, and the candlestick and its vessels, and the altar of perfume,

²⁷Huan a dohkan leh a belsuan tengteng, leh khawnvak koihna leh a belsuan tengteng leh gimlim maitam toh,

²⁸and the altar of burnt-offering and all its vessels, and the laver and its base;

²⁸Huan halmang thillatmaitam leh a belsuante tengteng leh, tuikuang leh a khe.

²⁹and thou hast sanctified them, and they have been most holy; all that is coming against them is holy;

²⁹Huchiin huaite na hihsiangthou ding, a siangthou penpena ding un; bangpeuh huaite khoih a siangthou ding uh.

³⁰and Aaron and his sons thou dost anoint, and hast sanctified them for being priests to Me.

³⁰Huan Aron leh a tapate thau na nilh dinga, amau na siangsak ding, siampu nasepna muna kei dia na a sep theihna ding un.

³¹`And unto the sons of Israel thou dost speak, saying, A holy anointing oil is this to Me, to your generations;

³¹Huan Israel suante kiangah thu na gen dia, na khang na khang un kei dingin hiai thaunilh siangthou ahi ding hi.

³²on flesh of man it is not poured, and with its proper proportion ye make none like it; it [is] holy; it is holy to you;

³²Mi sa tunga buak louh ding ahi, a kibatpih dang himhim leng bawllouh ding, a gawmkhawmte bangin: a siangthou a, nou adingin a siangthou ding ahi.

³³a man who compoundeth [any] like it, or who putteth of it on a stranger — hath even been cut off from his people.`

³³Kuapeuh huai banga gawm, hiam kuapeuh mikhual tunga huai koih himhim, a mite laka kipana sat khiak ding ahi, chiin.

³⁴And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Take to thee spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, spices and pure frankincense; they are part for part;

³⁴Huchiin TOUPAN Mosi kiangah, Gimlim kilak inla, stakte leh onicha leh, galbanum; hiam gimlimte begaw toh: huaite leng a giklam uh kibang ding ahi.

³⁵and thou hast made it a perfume, a compound, work of a compounder, salted, pure, holy;

³⁵Huan namtuiin na bawl dia, damdawimi siamna banga chikhum, helkhawm, a tak leh a siangthou:

³⁶and thou hast beaten [some] of it small, and hast put of it before the testimony, in the tent of meeting, whither I am met with thee; most holy it is to you.

³⁶Huan a khenkhat na gawi jan mahmah dia, huai bel kihoupihna puanin sunga theihpihna maah na koih dinga, huailaiah ka hon kimuhpih ding hi: nang adingin siangthou penpen ahi ding hi.

³⁷`As to the perfume which thou makest, with its proper proportion ye do not make to yourselves, holy it is to thee to Jehovah;

³⁷Huan huai na bawl ding gim namtui ahihleh, a helkhawm na bangin na kibawl kei ding hi: TOUPA jiakin nanga dingin siangthou ahi ding hi.Kuapeuh huai toh kibang bawl, nap ding lel, a mite laka kipanin satkhiakin a om ding hi, a chi a.

³⁸a man who maketh [any] like it — to be refreshed by it — hath even been cut off from his people.`
