1وهذه مواليد بني نوح. سام وحام ويافث. وولد لهم بنون بعد الطوفان.
1And these [are] births of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and born to them are sons after the deluge.
2بنو يافث جومر وماجوج وماداي وياوان وتوبال وماشك وتيراس.
2`Sons of Japheth [are] Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
3وبنو جومر اشكناز وريفاث وتوجرمة.
3And sons of Gomer [are] Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
4وبنو ياوان أليشة وترشيش وكتّيم ودودانيم.
4And sons of Javan [are] Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
5من هؤلاء تفرقت جزائر الامم باراضيهم كل انسان كلسانه حسب قبائلهم باممهم
5By these have the isles of the nations been parted in their lands, each by his tongue, by their families, in their nations.
6وبنو حام كوش ومصرايم وفوط وكنعان.
6And sons of Ham [are] Cush, and Mitzraim, and Phut, and Canaan.
7وبنو كوش سبا وحويلة وسبتة ورعمة وسبتكا. وبنو رعمة شبا وددان.
7And sons of Cush [are] Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah; and sons of Raamah [are] Sheba and Dedan.
8وكوش ولد نمرود الذي ابتدأ يكون جبارا في الارض.
8And Cush hath begotten Nimrod;
9الذي كان جبار صيد امام الرب. لذلك يقال كنمرود جبار صيد امام الرب.
9he hath begun to be a hero in the land; he hath been a hero in hunting before Jehovah; therefore it is said, `As Nimrod the hero [in] hunting before Jehovah.`
10وكان ابتداء مملكته بابل وآرك واكّد وكلنة في ارض شنعار.
10And the first part of his kingdom is Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar;
11من تلك الارض خرج اشور وبنى نينوى ورحوبوث عير وكالح
11from that land he hath gone out to Asshur, and buildeth Nineveh, even the broad places of the city, and Calah,
12ورسن بين نينوى وكالح. هي المدينة الكبيرة.
12and Resen, between Nineveh and Calah; it [is] the great city.
13ومصرايم ولد لوديم وعناميم ولهابيم ونفتوحيم
13And Mitzraim hath begotten the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
14وفتروسيم وكسلوحيم. الذين خرج منهم فلشتيم وكفتوريم.
14and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim, (whence have come out Philistim,) and the Caphtorim.
15وكنعان ولد صيدون بكره وحثّا
15And Canaan hath begotten Sidon his first-born, and Heth,
16واليبوسي والاموري والجرجاشيّ
16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
17والحّويّ والعرقيّ والسّينيّ
17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
18والأرواديّ والصّماريّ والحماثيّ. وبعد ذلك تفرقت قبائل الكنعاني.
18and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterwards have the families of the Canaanite been scattered.
19وكانت تخوم الكنعاني من صيدون حينما تجيء نحو جرار الى غزّة وحينما تجيء نحو سدوم وعمورة وأدمة وصبوييم الى لاشع.
19And the border of the Canaanite is from Sidon, [in] thy coming towards Gerar, unto Gaza; [in] thy coming towards Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, unto Lasha.
20هؤلاء بنو حام حسب قبائلهم كالسنتهم باراضيهم واممهم
20These [are] sons of Ham, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, in their nations.
21وسام ابو كل بني عابر اخو يافث الكبير ولد له ايضا بنون.
21As to Shem, father of all sons of Eber, brother of Japheth the elder, he hath also begotten:
22بنو سام عيلام واشور وارفكشاد ولود وارام.
22Sons of Shem [are] Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.
23وبنو ارام عوص وحول وجاثر وماش.
23And sons of Aram [are] Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.
24وارفكشاد ولد شالح وشالح ولد عابر.
24And Arphaxad hath begotten Salah, and Salah hath begotten Eber.
25ولعابر ولد ابنان . اسم الواحد فالج لان في ايامه قسمت الارض. واسم اخيه يقطان.
25And to Eber have two sons been born; the name of the one [is] Peleg (for in his days hath the earth been divided,) and his brother`s name [is] Joktan.
26ويقطان ولد ألموداد وشالف وحضرموت ويارح
26And Joktan hath begotten Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
27وهدورام واوزال ودقلة
27and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
28وعوبال وأبيمايل وشبا
28and Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
29وأوفير وحويلة ويوباب. جميع هؤلاء بنو يقطان.
29and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan;
30وكان مسكنهم من ميشا حينما تجيء نحو سفار جبل المشرق.
30and their dwelling is from Mesha, [in] thy coming towards Sephar, a mount of the east.
31هؤلاء بنو سام حسب قبائلهم كالسنتهم باراضيهم حسب اممهم
31These [are] sons of Shem, by their families, by their tongues, in their lands, by their nations.
32هؤلاء قبائل بني نوح حسب مواليدهم باممهم. ومن هؤلاء تفرقت الامم في الارض بعد الطوفان
32These [are] families of the sons of Noah, by their births, in their nations, and by these have the nations been parted in the earth after the deluge.
