¹The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

²وبنو قهات عمرام ويصهار وحبرون وعزيئيل.

²And the sons of Kohath: Amram, Jizhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

³وبنو عمرام هرون وموسى ومريم. وبنو هرون ناداب وابيهو والعازار وايثامار.

³And the children of Amram: Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. And the sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

⁴العازار ولد فينحاس وفينحاس ولد ابيشوع

⁴Eleazar begot Phinehas; Phinehas begot Abishua,

⁵وابيشوع ولد بقّي وبقّي ولد عزّي

⁵and Abishua begot Bukki, and Bukki begot Uzzi,

⁶وعزّي ولد زرحيا وزرحيا ولد مرايوث

⁶and Uzzi begot Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begot Meraioth;

⁷ومرايوث ولد امريا وامريا ولد اخيطوب

⁷Meraioth begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub,

⁸واخيطوب ولد صادوق وصادوق ولد اخيمعص

⁸and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Ahimaaz,

⁹واخيمعص ولد عزريا وعزريا ولد يوحانان

⁹and Ahimaaz begot Azariah, and Azariah begot Johanan,

¹⁰ويوحانان ولد عزريا وهو الذي كهن في البيت الذي بناه سليمان في اورشليم

¹⁰and Johanan begot Azariah (he is it that exercised the priesthood in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem);

¹¹وعزريا ولد امريا وامريا ولد اخيطوب

¹¹and Azariah begot Amariah, and Amariah begot Ahitub,

¹²واخيطوب ولد صادوق وصادوق ولد شلوم

¹²and Ahitub begot Zadok, and Zadok begot Shallum,

¹³وشلوم ولد حلقيا وحلقيا ولد عزريا

¹³and Shallum begot Hilkijah, and Hilkijah begot Azariah,

¹⁴وعزريا ولد سرايا وسرايا ولد يهوصاداق

¹⁴and Azariah begot Seraiah, and Seraiah begot Jehozadak,

¹⁵ويهوصاداق سار في سبي الرب يهوذا واورشليم بيد نبوخذناصّر

¹⁵and Jehozadak went away, when Jehovah carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

¹⁶بنو لاوي جرشوم وقهات ومراري.

¹⁶The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

¹⁷وهذان اسما ابني جرشوم لبني وشمعي.

¹⁷And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

¹⁸وبنو قهات عمرام ويصهار وحبرون وعزيئيل.

¹⁸And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Jizhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

¹⁹وابنا مراري محلي وموشي. فهذه عشائر اللاويين حسب آبائهم.

¹⁹The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And these are the families of Levi according to their fathers.

²⁰لجرشوم لبني ابنه ويحث ابنه وزمّة ابنه

²⁰Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

²¹ويوآخ ابنه وعدّو ابنه وزارح ابنه ويأثراي ابنه.

²¹Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeathrai his son.

²²بنو قهات عميناداب ابنه وقورح ابنه واسّير ابنه

²²The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

²³والقانة ابنه وابيأساف ابنه واسّير ابنه

²³Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

²⁴وتحث ابنه واوريئيل ابنه وعزّيا ابنه وشاول ابنه.

²⁴Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, and Saul his son.

²⁵وابنا القانة عماساي واخيموت

²⁵And the sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth.

²⁶والقانة. بنو القانة صوفاي ابنه ونحث ابنه

²⁶Elkanah, -- the sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, and Nahath his son,

²⁷واليآب ابنه ويروحام ابنه والقانة ابنه.

²⁷Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

²⁸وابنا صموئيل البكر وشني ثم ابيا.

²⁸And the sons of Samuel: the firstborn Vashni and Abijah.

²⁹بنو مراري محلي ولبني ابنه وشمعي ابنه وعزّة ابنه

²⁹The sons of Merari: Mahli; Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,

³⁰وشمعي ابنه وحجيا ابنه وعسايا ابنه

³⁰Shimea his son, Haggijah his son, Asaiah his son.

³¹وهؤلاء هم الذين اقامهم داود على يد الغناء في بيت الرب بعدما استقرّ التابوت.

³¹And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of Jehovah after that the ark was in rest.

³²وكانوا يخدمون امام مسكن خيمة الاجتماع بالغناء الى ان بنى سليمان بيت الرب في اورشليم فقاموا على خدمتهم حسب ترتيبهم.

³²And they ministered before the tabernacle of the tent of meeting with singing, until Solomon had built the house of Jehovah in Jerusalem; and they attended to their office according to their order.

³³وهؤلاء هم القائمون مع بنيهم. من بني القهاتيين هيمان المغني ابن يوئيل ابن صموئيل

³³And these are they that attended, and their sons: Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman the singer, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

³⁴بن القانة بن يروحام بن ايليئيل بن توح

³⁴the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

³⁵بن صوف بن القانة بن محث بن عماساي

³⁵the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

³⁶بن القانة بن يوئيل بن عزريا بن صفنيا

³⁶the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

³⁷بن تحث بن اسّير بن ابياساف بن قورح

³⁷the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

³⁸بن يصهار بن قهات بن لاوي بن اسرائيل.

³⁸the son of Jizhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

³⁹واخوه آساف الواقف عن يمينه آساف بن برخيا بن شمعي

³⁹And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand: Asaph, the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

⁴⁰بن ميخائيل بن بعسيا بن ملكيا

⁴⁰the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

⁴¹بن اثناي بن زارح بن عدايا

⁴¹the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

⁴²بن ايثان بن زمّة بن شمعي

⁴²the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

⁴³بن يحث بن جرشوم بن لاوي.

⁴³the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

⁴⁴وبنو مراري اخوتهم عن اليسار ايثان بن قيشي بن عبدي بن ملّوخ

⁴⁴And their brethren the sons of Merari were on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

⁴⁵بن حشبيا بن امصيا بن حلقيا

⁴⁵the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkijah,

⁴⁶بن امصي بن باني بن شامر

⁴⁶the son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shemer,

⁴⁷ابن محلي بن موشي بن مراري بن لاوي.

⁴⁷the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

⁴⁸واخوتهم اللاويون مقامون لكل خدمة مسكن بيت الله.

⁴⁸And their brethren the Levites were given for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

⁴⁹واما هرون وبنوه فكانوا يوقدون على مذبح المحرقة وعلى مذبح البخور مع كل عمل قدس الاقداس وللتكفير عن اسرائيل حسب كل ما امر به موسى عبد الله

⁴⁹And Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

⁵⁰وهؤلاء بنو هرون. العازر ابنه وفينحاس ابنه وابيشوع ابنه

⁵⁰And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

⁵¹وبقّي ابنه وعزّي ابنه وزرحيا ابنه

⁵¹Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

⁵²ومرايوث ابنه وامريا ابنه واخيطوب ابنه

⁵²Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

⁵³وصادوق ابنه واخيمعص ابنه.

⁵³Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

⁵⁴وهذه مساكنهم مع ضياعهم وتخومهم لبني هرون لعشيرة القهاتيين لانه لهم كانت القرعة.

⁵⁴And these are their dwelling-places according to their encampments, within their borders. For the sons of Aaron, of the family of the Kohathites, for theirs was the lot;

⁵⁵واعطوهم حبرون في ارض يهوذا ومسارحها حواليها.

⁵⁵and they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and its suburbs round about it;

⁵⁶واما حقل المدينة وديارها فاعطوها لكالب بن يفنة.

⁵⁶but the fields of the city, and the hamlets thereof gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

⁵⁷واعطوا لبني هرون مدن الملجإ حبرون ولبنة ومسارحها ويتّير واشتموع ومسارحها

⁵⁷And to the children of Aaron they gave the city of refuge, Hebron; and Libnah and its suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,

⁵⁸وحيلين ومسارحها ودبير ومسارحها

⁵⁸and Hilen and its suburbs, Debir and its suburbs,

⁵⁹وعاشان ومسارحها وبيتشمس ومسارحها.

⁵⁹and Ashan and its suburbs, and Beth-shemesh and its suburbs;

⁶⁰ومن سبط بنيامين جبع ومسارحها وعلمث ومسارحها وعناثوث ومسارحها. جميع مدنهم ثلاث عشرة مدينة حسب عشائرهم.

⁶⁰and, out of the tribe of Benjamin, Geba and its suburbs, and Allemeth and its suburbs, and Anathoth and its suburbs: all their cities, thirteen cities, according to their families.

⁶¹ولبني قهات الباقين من عشيرة السبط من نصف السبط نصف منسّى بالقرعة عشر مدن

⁶¹And to the children of Kohath that remained [were given] by lot out of the families of the tribe [of Ephraim and of the tribe of Dan and] of the half tribe, half Manasseh, ten cities.

⁶²ولبني جرشوم حسب عشائرهم من سبط يساكر ومن سبط اشير ومن سبط نفتالي ومن سبط منسّى في باشان ثلاث عشرة مدينة.

⁶²And to the children of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

⁶³لبني مراري حسب عشائرهم من سبط رأوبين ومن سبط جاد ومن سبط زبولون بالقرعة اثنتا عشرة مدينة.

⁶³To the children of Merari [were given] by lot, according to their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

⁶⁴فاعطى بنو اسرائيل اللاويين المدن ومسارحها.

⁶⁴And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.

⁶⁵واعطوا بالقرعة من سبط يهوذا ومن سبط بني شمعون ومن سبط بني بنيامين هذه المدن التي سموها باسماء.

⁶⁵And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which were mentioned by name.

⁶⁶وبعض عشائر بني قهات كانت مدن تخمهم من سبط افرايم.

⁶⁶And to the families of the children of Kohath who had the cities of their territory out of the tribe of Ephraim,

⁶⁷واعطوهم مدن الملجإ شكيم ومسارحها في جبل افرايم وجازر ومسارحها

⁶⁷they gave the city of refuge, Shechem and its suburbs in mount Ephraim; and Gezer and its suburbs,

⁶⁸ويقمعام ومسارحها وبيت حورون ومسارحها

⁶⁸and Jokmeam and its suburbs, and Beth-horon and its suburbs,

⁶⁹وأيّلون ومسارحها وجتّ رمّون ومسارحها.

⁶⁹and Ajalon and its suburbs, and Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs;

⁷⁰ومن نصف سبط منسّى عانير ومسارحها وبلعام ومسارحها لعشيرة بني قهات الباقين.

⁷⁰and out of the half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its suburbs, and Bileam and its suburbs, -- for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.

⁷¹لبني جرشوم من نصف سبط منسّى جولان في باشان ومسارحها وعشتاروث ومسارحها

⁷¹To the children of Gershom [were given] out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan and its suburbs, and Ashtaroth and its suburbs;

⁷²ومن سبط يساكر قادش ومسارحها ودبرة ومسارحها

⁷²and out of the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh and its suburbs, Dobrath and its suburbs,

⁷³وراموت ومسارحها وعانيم ومسارحها.

⁷³and Ramoth and its suburbs, and Anem and its suburbs;

⁷⁴ومن سبط اشير مشآل ومسارحها وعبدون ومسارحها

⁷⁴and out of the tribe of Asher: Mashal and its suburbs, and Abdon and its suburbs,

⁷⁵وحقوق ومسارحها ورحوب ومسارحها.

⁷⁵and Hukok and its suburbs, and Rehob and its suburbs;

⁷⁶ومن سبط نفتالي قادش في الجليل ومسارحها وحمون ومسارحها وقريتايم ومسارحها.

⁷⁶and out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, and Hammon and its suburbs, and Kirjathaim and its suburbs.

⁷⁷لبني مراري الباقين من سبط زبولون رمّونو ومسارحها وتابور ومسارحها.

⁷⁷To the children of Merari that remained [were given] out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmono and its suburbs, [and] Tabor and its suburbs;

⁷⁸وفي عبر اردن اريحا شرقي الاردن من سبط رأوبين باصر في البرية ومسارحها ويهصة ومسارحها

⁷⁸and on the other side of the Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, out of the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness and its suburbs, and Jahzah and its suburbs,

⁷⁹وقديموت ومسارحها وميفعة ومسارحها.

⁷⁹and Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath and its suburbs;

⁸⁰ومن سبط جاد راموت في جلعاد ومسارحها ومحنايم ومسارحها

⁸⁰and out of the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim and its suburbs,

⁸¹وحشبون ومسارحها ويعزير ومسارحها

⁸¹and Heshbon and its suburbs, and Jaazer and its suburbs.
