¹احمدوا الرب لانه صالح لان الى الابد رحمته‎.

¹Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.

²‎ليقل مفديو الرب الذين فداهم من يد العدو

²Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the oppressor,

³ومن البلدان جمعهم من المشرق ومن المغرب من الشمال ومن البحر‎.

³And gathered out of the countries, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the sea.

⁴‎تاهوا في البرية في قفر بلا طريق. لم يجدوا مدينة سكن‎.

⁴They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way, they found no city of habitation;

⁵‎جياع عطاش ايضا اعيت انفسهم فيهم‏‎.

⁵Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them:

⁶‎فصرخوا الى الرب في ضيقهم فانقذهم من شدائدهم‎.

⁶Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he delivered them out of their distresses,

⁷‎وهداهم طريقا مستقيما ليذهبوا الى مدينة سكن‎.

⁷And he led them forth by a right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

⁸‎فليحمدوا الرب على رحمته وعجائبه لبني آدم

⁸Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;

⁹لانه اشبع نفسا مشتهية وملأ نفسا جائعة خبزا

⁹For he hath satisfied the longing soul and filled the hungry soul with good.

¹⁰الجلوس في الظلمة وظلال الموت موثقين بالذل والحديد‎.

¹⁰Such as inhabit darkness and the shadow of death, bound in affliction and iron,

¹¹‎لانهم عصوا كلام الله واهانوا مشورة العلي

¹¹Because they had rebelled against the words of ùGod, and had despised the counsel of the Most High; ...

¹²فاذل قلوبهم بتعب. عثروا ولا معين‎.

¹²And he bowed down their heart with labour; they stumbled, and there was none to help:

¹³‎ثم صرخوا الى الرب في ضيقهم فخلصهم من شدائدهم‎.

¹³Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saved them out of their distresses;

¹⁴‎اخرجهم من الظلمة وظلال الموت وقطع قيودهم‎.

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke their bands in sunder.

¹⁵‎فليحمدوا الرب على رحمته وعجائبه لبني آدم‎.

¹⁵Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;

¹⁶‎لانه كسر مصاريع نحاس وقطع عوارض حديد

¹⁶For he hath broken the gates of bronze, and cut asunder the bars of iron.

¹⁷والجهال من طريق معصيتهم ومن آثامهم يذلون‎.

¹⁷Fools, because of their way of transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted;

¹⁸‎كرهت انفسهم كل طعام واقتربوا الى ابواب الموت‎.

¹⁸Their soul abhorreth all manner of food, and they draw near unto the gates of death:

¹⁹‎فصرخوا الى الرب في ضيقهم فخلّصهم من شدائدهم‎.

¹⁹Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, [and] he saveth them out of their distresses;

²⁰‎ارسل كلمته فشفاهم ونجاهم من تهلكاتهم‎.

²⁰He sendeth his word, and healeth them, and delivereth them from their destructions.

²¹‎فليحمدوا الرب على رحمته وعجائبه لبني آدم

²¹Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men,

²²وليذبحوا له ذبائح الحمد وليعدوا اعماله بترنم

²²And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works in joyful song.

²³النازلون الى البحر في السفن العاملون عملا في المياه الكثيرة

²³They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters,

²⁴هم رأوا اعمال الرب وعجائبه في العمق‎.

²⁴These see the works of Jehovah, and his wonders in the deep.

²⁵‎امر فاهاج ريحا عاصفة فرفعت امواجه‎.

²⁵For he speaketh, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof:

²⁶‎يصعدون الى السموات يهبطون الى الاعماق. ذابت انفسهم بالشقاء.

²⁶They mount up to the heavens, they go down to the depths; their soul is melted because of trouble;

²⁷يتمايلون ويترنحون مثل السكران وكل حكمتهم ابتلعت‎.

²⁷They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and they are at their wits' end:

²⁸‎فيصرخون الى الرب في ضيقهم ومن شدائدهم يخلصهم‎.

²⁸Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses;

²⁹‎يهدئ العاصفة فتسكن وتسكت امواجها‎.

²⁹He maketh the storm a calm, and the waves thereof are still:

³⁰‎فيفرحون لانهم هدأوا فيهديهم الى المرفإ الذي يريدونه‎.

³⁰And they rejoice because they are quiet; and he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

³¹‎فليحمدوا الرب على رحمته وعجائبه لبني آدم‎.

³¹Let them give thanks unto Jehovah for his loving-kindness, and for his wondrous works to the children of men;

³²‎وليرفعوه في مجمع الشعب وليسبحوه في مجلس المشايخ

³²Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the session of the elders.

³³يجعل الانهار قفارا ومجاري المياه معطشة

³³He maketh rivers into a wilderness, and water-springs into dry ground;

³⁴والارض المثمرة سبخة من شر الساكنين فيها‎.

³⁴A fruitful land into a plain of salt, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

³⁵‎يجعل القفر غدير مياه وارضا يبسا ينابيع مياه‎.

³⁵He maketh the wilderness into a pool of water, and the dry land into water-springs;

³⁶‎ويسكن هناك الجياع فيهيئون مدينة سكن‎.

³⁶And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, and they establish a city of habitation;

³⁷‎ويزرعون حقولا ويغرسون كروما فتصنع ثمر غلة‎.

³⁷And sow fields, and plant vineyards, which yield fruits of increase;

³⁸‎ويباركهم فيكثرون جدا ولا يقلل بهائمهم‎.

³⁸And he blesseth them, so that they are multiplied greatly; and he suffereth not their cattle to decrease.

³⁹‎ثم يقلون وينحنون من ضغط الشر والحزن‎.

³⁹And they are diminished and brought low, through oppression, adversity, and sorrow:

⁴⁰‎يسكب هوانا على رؤساء ويضلهم في تيه بلا طريق‎.

⁴⁰He poureth contempt upon nobles, and causeth them to wander in a pathless waste;

⁴¹‎ويعلي المسكين من الذل ويجعل القبائل مثل قطعان الغنم‎.

⁴¹But he secureth the needy one on high from affliction, and maketh [him] families like flocks.

⁴²‎يرى ذلك المستقيمون فيفرحون وكل اثم يسد فاه‎.

⁴²The upright shall see it, and rejoice; and all unrighteousness shall stop its mouth.

⁴³‎من كان حكيما يحفظ هذا ويتعقل مراحم الرب

⁴³Whoso is wise, let him observe these things, and let them understand the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah.
