1اهتفوا ايها الصديقون بالرب. بالمستقيمين يليق التسبيح.
1Exult, ye righteous, in Jehovah: praise is comely for the upright.
2احمدوا الرب بالعود. بربابة ذات عشرة اوتار رنموا له.
2Give thanks unto Jehovah with the harp; sing psalms unto him with the ten-stringed lute.
3غنوا له اغنية جديدة. احسنوا العزف بهتاف.
3Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud sound.
4لان كلمة الرب مستقيمة وكل صنعه بالامانة.
4For the word of Jehovah is right, and all his work is in faithfulness.
5يحب البر والعدل. امتلأت الارض من رحمة الرب.
5He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the loving-kindness of Jehovah.
6بكلمة الرب صنعت السموات وبنسمة فيه كل جنودها.
6By the word of Jehovah were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7يجمع كندّ امواه اليم يجعل اللجج في اهراء.
7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; he layeth up the deeps in storehouses.
8لتخش الرب كل الارض ومنه ليخف كل سكان المسكونة.
8Let all the earth fear Jehovah; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
9لانه قال فكان. هو أمر فصار.
9For *he* spoke, and it was [done]; *he* commanded, and it stood fast.
10الرب ابطل مؤامرة الامم. لاشى افكار الشعوب.
10Jehovah frustrateth the counsel of the nations; he maketh the thoughts of the peoples of none effect.
11اما مؤامرة الرب فالى الابد تثبت. افكار قلبه الى دور فدور
11The counsel of Jehovah standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart from generation to generation.
12طوبى للامّة التي الرب الهها الشعب الذي اختاره ميراثا لنفسه.
12Blessed is the nation whose God is Jehovah, the people that he hath chosen for his inheritance!
13من السموات نظر الرب. رأى جميع بني البشر.
13Jehovah looketh from the heavens; he beholdeth all the sons of men:
14من مكان سكناه تطلّع الى جميع سكان الارض.
14From the place of his habitation he looketh forth upon all the inhabitants of the earth;
15المصوّر قلوبهم جميعا المنتبه الى كل اعمالهم.
15He who fashioneth the hearts of them all, who considereth all their works.
16لن يخلص الملك بكثرة الجيش. الجبار لا ينقذ بعظم القوة.
16The king is not saved by the multitude of [his] forces; a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
17باطل هو الفرس لاجل الخلاص وبشدة قوّته لا ينجّي.
17The horse is a vain thing for safety; neither doth he deliver by his great power.
18هوذا عين الرب على خائفيه الراجين رحمته
18Behold, the eye of Jehovah is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his loving-kindness,
19لينجّي من الموت انفسهم وليستحييهم في الجوع
19To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20انفسنا انتظرت الرب. معونتنا وترسنا هو.
20Our soul waiteth for Jehovah: he is our help and our shield.
21لانه به تفرح قلوبنا لاننا على اسمه القدوس اتكلنا.
21For in him shall our heart rejoice, because we have confided in his holy name.
22لتكن يا رب رحمتك علينا حسبما انتظرناك
22Let thy loving-kindness, O Jehovah, be upon us, according as we have hoped in thee.
