1لداود عندما غيّر عقله قدام ابيمالك فطرده فانطلق. ابارك الرب في كل حين. دائما تسبيحه في فمي.
1{[A Psalm] of David; when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.} I will bless Jehovah at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2بالرب تفتخر نفسي. يسمع الودعاء فيفرحون.
2My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah: the meek shall hear, and rejoice.
3عظموا الرب معي ولنعلّ اسمه معا
3Magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4طلبت الى الرب فاستجاب لي ومن كل مخاوفي انقذني.
4I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
5نظروا اليه واستناروا ووجوههم لم تخجل.
5They looked unto him, and were enlightened, and their faces were not confounded.
6هذا المسكين صرخ والرب استمعه ومن كل ضيقاته خلصه.
6This afflicted one called, and Jehovah heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.
7ملاك الرب حال حول خائفيه وينجيهم.
7The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
8ذوقوا وانظروا ما اطيب الرب. طوبى للرجل المتوكل عليه.
8Taste and see that Jehovah is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him!
9اتقوا الرب يا قديسيه لانه ليس عوز لمتقيه.
9Fear Jehovah, ye his saints; for there is no want to them that fear him.
10الاشبال احتاجت وجاعت واما طالبو الرب فلا يعوزهم شيء من الخير
10The young lions are in need and suffer hunger; but they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good.
11هلم ايها البنون استمعوا اليّ فاعلّمكم مخافة الرب.
11Come, ye sons, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
12من هو الانسان الذي يهوى الحياة ويحب كثرة الايام ليرى خيرا.
12What man is he that desireth life, [and] loveth days, that he may see good?
13صن لسانك عن الشر وشفتيك عن التكلم بالغش.
13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile;
14حد عن الشر واصنع الخير. اطلب السلامة واسع وراءها.
14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15عينا الرب نحو الصديقين واذناه الى صراخهم.
15The eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous, and his ears are toward their cry;
16وجه الرب ضد عاملي الشر ليقطع من الارض ذكرهم.
16The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth:
17اولئك صرخوا والرب سمع ومن كل شدائدهم انقذهم.
17[The righteous] cry, and Jehovah heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18قريب هو الرب من المنكسري القلوب ويخلص المنسحقي الروح.
18Jehovah is nigh to those that are of a broken heart, and saveth them that are of a contrite spirit.
19كثيرة هي بلايا الصدّيق ومن جميعها ينجيه الرب.
19Many are the adversities of the righteous, but Jehovah delivereth him out of them all:
20يحفظ جميع عظامه. واحد منها لا ينكسر.
20He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.
21الشر يميت الشرير ومبغضو الصدّيق يعاقبون.
21Evil shall destroy the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall bear their guilt.
22الرب فادي نفوس عبيده وكل من اتكل عليه لا يعاقب
22Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; and none of them that trust in him shall bear guilt.
