¹ولكن اعلم هذا انه في الايام الاخيرة ستأتي ازمنة صعبة.

¹But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come.

²لان الناس يكونون محبين لانفسهم محبين للمال متعظمين مستكبرين مجدّفين غير طائعين لوالديهم غير شاكرين دنسين

²For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

³بلا حنو بلا رضى ثالبين عديمي النزاهة شرسين غير محبين للصلاح

³without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, no lovers of good,

⁴خائنين مقتحمين متصلفين محبين للذات دون محبة لله

⁴traitors, headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;

⁵لهم صورة التقوى ولكنهم منكرون قوّتها. فاعرض عن هؤلاء.

⁵holding a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.

⁶فانه من هؤلاء هم الذين يدخلون البيوت ويسبون نسيّات محمّلات خطايا منساقات بشهوات مختلفة

⁶For some of these are people who creep into houses, and take captive gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

⁷يتعلمن في كل حين ولا يستطعن ان يقبلن الى معرفة الحق ابدا.

⁷always learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

⁸وكما قاوم ينّيس ويمبريس موسى كذلك هؤلاء ايضا يقاومون الحق. اناس فاسدة اذهانهم ومن جهة الايمان مرفوضون.

⁸Even as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these also oppose the truth; men corrupted in mind, who concerning the faith, are rejected.

⁹لكنهم لا يتقدمون اكثر لان حمقهم سيكون واضحا للجميع كما كان حمق ذينك ايضا

⁹But they will proceed no further. For their folly will be evident to all men, as theirs also came to be.

¹⁰واما انت فقد تبعت تعليمي وسيرتي وقصدي وايماني واناتي ومحبتي وصبري

¹⁰But you did follow my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

¹¹واضطهاداتي وآلامي مثل ما اصابني في انطاكية وايقونية ولسترة. ايّة اضطهادات احتملت. ومن الجميع انقذني الرب.

¹¹persecutions, and sufferings: those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. Out of them all the Lord delivered me.

¹²وجميع الذين يريدون ان يعيشوا بالتقوى في المسيح يسوع يضطهدون.

¹²Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

¹³ولكن الناس الاشرار المزوّرين سيتقدمون الى اردأ مضلّين ومضلّين.

¹³But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

¹⁴واما انت فاثبت على ما تعلمت وايقنت عارفا ممن تعلمت.

¹⁴But you remain in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them.

¹⁵وانك منذ الطفولية تعرف الكتب المقدسة القادرة ان تحكّمك للخلاص بالايمان الذي في المسيح يسوع.

¹⁵From infancy, you have known the holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus.

¹⁶كل الكتاب هو موحى به من الله ونافع للتعليم والتوبيخ للتقويم والتأديب الذي في البر

¹⁶Every Scripture is God-breathed and or, Every writing inspired by God is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness,

¹⁷لكي يكون انسان الله كاملا متأهبا لكل عمل صالح

¹⁷that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
