¹And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

¹Ug sa ikatolo ka adlaw may usa ka kasal sa Cana sa Galilea; ug didto miadto ang inahan ni Jesus.

²and Jesus also was bidden, and his disciples, to the marriage.

²Ug si Jesus usab ug ang iyang mga tinon-an gidapit sa kasal.

³And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

³Ug sa nagkulang ang vino, ang inahan ni Jesus miingon kaniya: Wala na silay vino.

⁴And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

⁴Si Jesus miingon kaniya: Babaye, unsay labut ko kanimo? Wala pa moabut ang akong takna.

⁵His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

⁵Ang iyang inahan nag-ingon sa mga sulogoon: Bisan unsa ang iyang igaingon kaninyo, buhaton ninyo.

⁶Now there were six waterpots of stone set there after the Jews' manner of purifying, containing two or three firkins apiece.

⁶Karon, may unom ka tadyaw nga bato nga gipamutang didto, sumala sa batasan sa mga Judio sa pagpanghugas, nga ang tagsatagsa kanila nagasulod ug duha kun tolo ka metreta.

⁷Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.

⁷Si Jesus miingon kanila: Pun-a ninyo sa tubig ang mga tadyaw. Ug kini gipanagpuno nila hangtud sa ngabil.

⁸And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the ruler of the feast. And they bare it.

⁸Ug siya miingon kanila: Kuhaa na ninyo ug dad-on ninyo sa punoan sa kasal. Ug ilang gidala kini.

⁹And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom,

⁹Ug sa gitilawan sa punoan sa kasal ang tubig nga nabalhin na nga vino, ug wala mahibalo kong diin kini gikan (apan hingbaloan sa mga sulogoon nga nanagkuha sa tubig), ang punoan sa kasal nagtawag sa pamanhonon.

¹⁰and saith unto him, Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when [men] have drunk freely, [then] that which is worse: thou hast kept the good wine until now.

¹⁰Ug miingon kaniya: Ang tanang tawo magadalit pag-una sa maayong vino, ug unya kong ang mga dinapit makainum na hangtud matagbaw, mao pay idalit sa labing ubos nga vino, apan ikaw, gitagoan mo ang maayong vino hangtud karon.

¹¹This beginning of his signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

¹¹Kini mao ang una sa mga katingalahan nga gibuhat ni Jesus sa Cana sa Galilea, ug nagpadayag kini sa iyang himaya; ug ang iyang mga tinon-an nanagpanoo kaniya.

¹²After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and [his] brethren, and his disciples; and there they abode not many days.

¹²Sa tapus niini, nanagpanugbong sa Capernaum, siya, ug ang iyang inahan, ug ang iyang mga igsoon, ug ang iyang mga tinon-an; apan wala sila managpabilin didto sa daghang mga adlaw.

¹³And the passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

¹³Ug haduol na ang pasko sa mga Judio, ug si Jesus mitungas sa Jerusalem.

¹⁴And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

¹⁴Ug hingkit-an niya sulod sa templo ang mga nanagbaligya ug mga vaca, ug mga carnero, ug mga salampati, ug ang mga mag-iilis ug salapi nga nanaglingkod.

¹⁵and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;

¹⁵Ug nagbuhat siya ug usa ka bunal nga pisi, ug giabog niya ang tanan ngadto sa gawas sa templo, ang mga carnero ug ang mga vaca; ug gipangyabo niya ang mga salapi sa mga mag-iilis, ug gipamukan niya ang mga lamesa nila;

¹⁶and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.

¹⁶Ug sa mga nanagbaligya sa mga salampati miingon siya: Kuhaa ninyo kining mga butanga dinhi; ang balay sa akong Amahan dili ninyo pagbuhaton balay nga baligyaanan.

¹⁷His disciples remembered that it was written, Zeal for thy house shall eat me up.

¹⁷Ang iyang mga tinon-an nahinumdum nga may nahasulat: Ang kakugi alang sa imong balay magalamoy kanako.

¹⁸The Jews therefore answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

¹⁸Busa ang mga Judio mitubag ug miingon kaniya: Unsa ang ilhanan nga ipahayag mo kanamo, ingon nga ikaw nagabuhat niining mga butanga?

¹⁹Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

¹⁹Si Jesus mitubag ug miingon kanila: Gub-a ninyo kining templo, ug sa ikatolo ka adlaw akong patindugon.

²⁰The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

²⁰Busa ang mga Judio miingon: Kap-atan ug unom ka tuig ang pagtukod niining templo, ug imong patindugon kini sa tolo ka adlaw?

²¹But he spake of the temple of his body.

²¹Apan siya nagasulti mahitungod sa templo sa iyang lawas.

²²When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

²²Busa, sa nabanhaw siya sa mga minatay, ang iyang mga tinon-an nahinumdum nga siya nagsulti niini, ug mitoo sila sa Kasulatan, ug sa pulong nga gisulti ni Jesus.

²³Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on his name, beholding his signs which he did.

²³Karon sa didto pa siya sa Jerusalem sa pasko, sa panahon sa fiesta, daghan ang nanagtoo sa iyang ngalan, nga nanagpakakita sa mga ilhanan nga iyang gibuhat.

²⁴But Jesus did not trust himself unto them, for that he knew all men,

²⁴Apan si Jesus wala gayud mosalig sa iyang kaugalingon kanila, tungod kay siya nakaila sa tanang mga tawo;

²⁵and because he needed not that any one should bear witness concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.

²⁵Ug tungod kay wala siya magki-nahanglan nga may bisan kinsa nga magapamatuod mahitungod sa tawo; kay siya sa iyang kaugalingon nahibalo sa anaa sa tawo.
